After calling numerous other companies, my wife contacted Blue and they were able to come out the next day. The technician, didn't get his name but maybe Tyler, was so awesome! He provided us different options for our issue. He also checked out the other components, we have a humidifier connected as well, and deemed it all operational. He showed us a few things to watch during the winter and quick tips if we ran into issues. He never tried to sell us more services or unnecessary maintenance. He was exactly what you want in a technician and this company now has new clients for the life of our home. A+++

I have to give a well deserved shout out to Brian and Sheryl at Modern-Air Cooling & Heating. A…read morefriend and neighbor suggested them last year when our air conditioner quit working. It turned out that mice had chewed through a bunch of wires. Brian made quick work of fixing it with a smile and sense of humor that complimented his easy going nature. What really made my day was his reasonable fee! This year, the A/C broke down during the hottest week of the summer (of course). I called Modern-Air at 7:30am thinking I'd leave a message to at least get in the queue for service. Instead of a message the phone was cheerfully answered by Sheryl. I apologized for calling so early and mentioned that I was expecting to get an answering service. She said that she was there and ready to help me as best she could. I explained my dilemma and she told me they already had a full schedule that day, but to let her talk to Brian to see if she could squeeze me in. While waiting for her call, I was trying to figure out what to do with the pets on a 104 degree day without A/C, when suddenly my phone rang. It was Sheryl to tell me that Brian would swing by at 10am. That was beyond my expectations! Furthermore, since I was at work while Brian was fixing the A/C, Sheryl kept me posted on the progress and let me know when all was done and to just send a check. Again for a very reasonable fee. Please support this company. They understand the true meaning of customer service and a job well done.

Cheryl in the office and Chad are both very kind and I trust them completely. A different company gave us an insanely high estimate & quoted a long wait to fix our AC. He even cleaned my unit outside so it would be free of leaves and dirt that could clog. I recommend them highly. Now I wouldn't use anyone else.

As soon as the AC stopped working I called Harrington to repair it. The technician that was sent did not have the proper tools to complete the job. I had to lend him a socket to get into the unit and once in, he lacked the tools to test the equipment. After making several phone calls to troubleshoot the problem he informs me that we will have to call someone else to come and repair it since they did not have the necessary part nor the time to do so themselves. This was at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend in which we were having family come to visit. To make matters worse, the most likely cause of the equipment failure was improper installation.

Air Care got back to me quickly and said they could come by on Monday between 9-11. There was one company that replied over the weekend but they had no reviews, so I didn't engage with them. Come Monday, Air Care was a no show, no call by 11:30. I called them and talked to Josh. He apologized and said their system didn't let them know I had an appointment. I knew I was texting with AI up to that point, so I accepted his apology. He told me they would have someone out between noon and 2. The technician showed up 20 minutes later and had the bad capacitor replaced and the spring service done in 20 minutes. Air Care came through in the end and got out A/C working again. My wife and I appreciated that and would hire them again.

On 12 January 2026, we noticed the house was cold when we woke up. After looking at our thermostat, I tried to change the batteries to see if it fixed the problem which it did not. We called Patriot at 10:06 am, explained our problem, and got on their list to send out a technician. Mike arrived at 11:00 am to check out system to determine the problem. I explained what we experienced with our heating system that morning and then he began his trouble shooting. After checking the furnace fault codes and operation, Mike came upstairs to look at the thermostat. He stated he needed to hardwire the thermostat to the system which he did in a few minutes. When the furnace turned on, Mike went downstairs to monitor fault codes on the furnace. He stated the codes cleared and that is all we needed for the fix. Our heating system has been working just fine since this repair. We always receive prompt service response from Patriot as well as service we trust when Mike has performed work in our home. We highly recommend Patriot HVAC.
