I had an extremely disappointing experience with Arrowhead Appliance Repair, specifically with Andy…read morePieri. Their technician diagnosed my dryer issue as a faulty 240V outlet and advised that I contact a licensed electrician. Following that recommendation, my property management company sent two separate licensed electricians. Both independently confirmed that the outlet was functioning properly. The actual issue was a defective dryer cord. Once replaced, the dryer worked immediately and has continued operating without any issues. Despite this clear evidence, Andy Pieri refused to issue a refund and instead questioned documentation and attempted to shift responsibility. The facts are simple: * Two licensed electricians confirmed the outlet was not the problem. * The dryer cord was replaced. * The appliance now works perfectly. The initial diagnosis was incorrect and resulted in unnecessary service calls, additional costs, and avoidable stress. Rather than taking accountability, the company chose to deny responsibility. I cannot recommend this business.

As usual, he was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly with minimal charge to us. It wasn't draining. He checked the pump, etc. Turns out it was a kink in the drainage line. Andy is THE BEST. Also in summer 2022 our washer stopped working. It was a Samsung and we'd only had it 5 years. Fixing it was going to cost almost as much as a new one, so we opted to buy a new machine. Thankfully we had Andy to recommend which brands to buy. He said get a Whirlpool or GE. We got a GE and it is THE NICEST machine we've ever had. We don't buy any appliances now unless we consult with Arrowhead Appliance first. If you want someone who is courteous, honest, and absolutely wonderful, contact Arrowhead Appliance.

I debated between…read morewhich company to go with for too long before just calling them and getting on the books as my furnace was dripping a considerable amount of water heading into the winter. While it looks like they offer Request-a-Quote (score!) I ended up just calling them as I was out and about. They gave me a two hour window the very next day, then called before they showed up. The tech was the definition of efficient. Friendly enough, not much chit chat, just more or less there to look into things and get the job done. My only slight issue was just a few things that were lost in translation -- they had the address wrong, were not close on spelling my name right, and then the price. They told me they could fix the issue for $135 which I agreed to, then was a bit surprised when the bill was for $209 as the final bill included the parts & labor. No biggie and a very fair price for the tune up and replacement, just would've been nice to know the actual total. The total price did match up with my expectations, so no biggie, just worth noting as I feel like maybe they could automate their bookings/billing just a tad better. TL:DR; I appreciate how fast they were, how they diagnosed and fixed it, and the price point. I'd call them again if the need arises.

(See final resolution update) 6 weeks ago they came out to service my hvac system and signed me up…read moreon a service plan. I had a system failure during high heat advisory and called them but they could not get out until the next day. So, I called someone else who was able to make it out that evening. That company (Dad's) replaced the thermostat but also took off all the airflow grates around the system and they were filthy, which Buckner's service tech said on the report that he cleaned the coils. (See pics taken 6 weeks after Buckner's guy "cleaned" the coils!) Dad's cleaned the coils up and tested the system once the thermostat was replaced. They had to wait for the cleaning to dry out first but discovered that the unit was overcharged (400 and climbing at 86 degrees) due to there being too much coolant, so they had to remove some. This cost me $540 total for everything because Buckner's overcharged my unit with coolant (which their tech lied and said he did not add coolant - Note: I nor have I had anyone service or had coolant added to the unit for 3.5 years) Overcharging a unit with coolant, if left undetected, would have ruined my a/c unit which is only 5 years old. I'm not happy at all with Buckner's, and will be calling for a full refund and exiting their maintenance agreement. Update: I spoke with Buckner's service manager and the tech was supposed to take before and after pics of the coils to show they were cleaned, but did not take photos (shocker) but in his report he said he cleaned the coils. The report did not say anything about coolant being added. I have not added coolant in 3 summers and Buckner's was the first company I hired since buying the home 3 years ago, so how do you suddenly get excessive coolant? Anyway, he said he would give me a full refund for the maintenance service visit and the additional amount I paid to sign up for an annual cooling and heating agreement and we canceled the agreement, which I did appreciate. Second Update: 15 days after promised a FULL refund and I still had not received it, I called the service manager, Mark Dillan back who said he put in the refund for a different LOWER amount. It took a bit of conversation, but he finally agreed (again) to a full refund and that he would "expedite" it. Three days later, still no refund. Called and asked for accounting department and after being on hold for a bit, Pedro said she was not available, took my number and said HE would personally handle the expediting of the refund. We shall see. I will continue to edit this review until they finally do what they said they would do 18 days ago. THIRD UPDATE: After another 10 days have gone by, I had to call again. This time I spoke with Natalie who saw all of the notes from my previous calls and took a message for "Joe" another service manager. So here we are 28 days later and still no refund as of October 5th. I am now threatening to sue, call the BBB, whatever agency provides their licensing, and spread this review on any platform I can find. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lie about what service they say they performed, took money for an annual service agreement that I have cancelled and have not refunded a dime of the $289 I paid. It did take at least 5 telephone calls to finally reach the person (Joe) who could help me. Apparently, another customer service manager input the refund into their computer incorrectly which is why it was not getting processed. It was still upsetting to know a service manager couldn't do his job correctly as well as the tech, but I will say that Joe was a complete pleasure to speak with. He was passionate about making it right and he did. That's the way customer service should be and Joe aced it. I wish I could say I would use Buckner's again but after that fiasco, I just can't. They still said the tech did not note that he added coolant but it makes no sense for there to suddenly, after 4 summers of no coolant added, that my unit was overcharging and I had to pay someone else to remove it (which I stood and watched being done. Thank you Joe for fixing this.

I agreed. When the A/C does go out, I'll get hold of United and have them come out and give me a bid for a new one along with a couple other companies.
