I debated between…read morewhich company to go with for too long before just calling them and getting on the books as my furnace was dripping a considerable amount of water heading into the winter. While it looks like they offer Request-a-Quote (score!) I ended up just calling them as I was out and about. They gave me a two hour window the very next day, then called before they showed up. The tech was the definition of efficient. Friendly enough, not much chit chat, just more or less there to look into things and get the job done. My only slight issue was just a few things that were lost in translation -- they had the address wrong, were not close on spelling my name right, and then the price. They told me they could fix the issue for $135 which I agreed to, then was a bit surprised when the bill was for $209 as the final bill included the parts & labor. No biggie and a very fair price for the tune up and replacement, just would've been nice to know the actual total. The total price did match up with my expectations, so no biggie, just worth noting as I feel like maybe they could automate their bookings/billing just a tad better. TL:DR; I appreciate how fast they were, how they diagnosed and fixed it, and the price point. I'd call them again if the need arises.

(See final resolution update) 6 weeks ago they came out to service my hvac system and signed me up…read moreon a service plan. I had a system failure during high heat advisory and called them but they could not get out until the next day. So, I called someone else who was able to make it out that evening. That company (Dad's) replaced the thermostat but also took off all the airflow grates around the system and they were filthy, which Buckner's service tech said on the report that he cleaned the coils. (See pics taken 6 weeks after Buckner's guy "cleaned" the coils!) Dad's cleaned the coils up and tested the system once the thermostat was replaced. They had to wait for the cleaning to dry out first but discovered that the unit was overcharged (400 and climbing at 86 degrees) due to there being too much coolant, so they had to remove some. This cost me $540 total for everything because Buckner's overcharged my unit with coolant (which their tech lied and said he did not add coolant - Note: I nor have I had anyone service or had coolant added to the unit for 3.5 years) Overcharging a unit with coolant, if left undetected, would have ruined my a/c unit which is only 5 years old. I'm not happy at all with Buckner's, and will be calling for a full refund and exiting their maintenance agreement. Update: I spoke with Buckner's service manager and the tech was supposed to take before and after pics of the coils to show they were cleaned, but did not take photos (shocker) but in his report he said he cleaned the coils. The report did not say anything about coolant being added. I have not added coolant in 3 summers and Buckner's was the first company I hired since buying the home 3 years ago, so how do you suddenly get excessive coolant? Anyway, he said he would give me a full refund for the maintenance service visit and the additional amount I paid to sign up for an annual cooling and heating agreement and we canceled the agreement, which I did appreciate. Second Update: 15 days after promised a FULL refund and I still had not received it, I called the service manager, Mark Dillan back who said he put in the refund for a different LOWER amount. It took a bit of conversation, but he finally agreed (again) to a full refund and that he would "expedite" it. Three days later, still no refund. Called and asked for accounting department and after being on hold for a bit, Pedro said she was not available, took my number and said HE would personally handle the expediting of the refund. We shall see. I will continue to edit this review until they finally do what they said they would do 18 days ago. THIRD UPDATE: After another 10 days have gone by, I had to call again. This time I spoke with Natalie who saw all of the notes from my previous calls and took a message for "Joe" another service manager. So here we are 28 days later and still no refund as of October 5th. I am now threatening to sue, call the BBB, whatever agency provides their licensing, and spread this review on any platform I can find. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lie about what service they say they performed, took money for an annual service agreement that I have cancelled and have not refunded a dime of the $289 I paid. It did take at least 5 telephone calls to finally reach the person (Joe) who could help me. Apparently, another customer service manager input the refund into their computer incorrectly which is why it was not getting processed. It was still upsetting to know a service manager couldn't do his job correctly as well as the tech, but I will say that Joe was a complete pleasure to speak with. He was passionate about making it right and he did. That's the way customer service should be and Joe aced it. I wish I could say I would use Buckner's again but after that fiasco, I just can't. They still said the tech did not note that he added coolant but it makes no sense for there to suddenly, after 4 summers of no coolant added, that my unit was overcharging and I had to pay someone else to remove it (which I stood and watched being done. Thank you Joe for fixing this.

The system was installed, work area cleaned (very clean!), and we were back to normal life within 24 hours. The materials, craftsmanship, and finished product were top-notch, exceeding expectation. My husband was the only one home when Jim was there, but he made sure to follow up with me and talk through every step the same as he did with my husband when he was working on it. He even pointed out some of the errors and issues with the work done by the our home warranty service (cancelled). I would definitely recommend All Weather to anyone with HVAC needs.

Sent a guy out with next to nothing to do it I guess cause I supplied the ladders lights fans and shop vac he did have a shop vac but it wasn't working properly and just shot the sheet rock dust more into the house. Then still didn't clean very well had to go over everything myself. couldn't even roll my shop vac back up. they said sheet rock need repaired and they brought a vent cover that was too small to fit even before they messed the sheet rock up. its going on three weeks now and after calling 4 times and being told they'll get back with me nothings been done they haven't reached back out or anything to bring the right size vent cover. it's very frustrating so thought I'd leave a review and hope you don't have to deal with the frustration

I called Polar and within minutes had a call back and within an hour had a service person out to look at our unit. Shortly after that, everything is up and running. The service person (JT) was fast, efficient and personable. Update: so fast forward a bit...and it was time for us to replace our a/c and furnace. I got multiple estimates and was very pleased that not only was Polar Aire competively priced but they did a great write up of their estimate and emailed (type written with multiple options explained and quoted) whereas the other companies scribbled out their estimates. (I was comparing a lot of different efficiencies and units so this was very appreciated. As well I recently got a water heater from them. Now I have met several of their technicians and they were all a pleasure to work with...timely, professional etc. I love their appointment confirmation calls and texts and how they follow up to see if you are happy with their work. Highly recommend.

Instead of paying the fee again for their mediocre service, I had someone else out (great thorough service) and they put Freon in. What kind of technician isn't checking Freon when they're in there? Such a half baked visit, will not be back.

We called Summit to come look at improving the HVAC in our old house. The sales guy came out, poked…read morearound pretty extensively, and quoted us a price a few days later. We had some questions and he answered them reasonably soon after. The team came out a week or so later to install three indoor mini-split units run off of two outdoor units, and to fix some ductwork. It took a day longer than they'd anticipated - that's ok, a day isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. The systems seem to work well, and the third floor ductwork seems more able to cope with the house. I have one gripe: the coring company they used to drill through the exterior walls made a huge mess. Dust everywhere. The dust was so thick at one point that the smoke alarms went off. Nobody involved in the coring or installation thought to put down drop cloths or clean up afterward. We had dust in every room where installation occurred and tracked by workers in the common spaces. We ended up renting a hotel since there were two additional days of installation and cleaning up every night wasn't practical. We also ended up hiring cleaners. I emailed our sales rep and told him all this, but we were (are still, actually) pretty peeved at how dirty the house was.

I have never had any issues or repairs, but they come out and do my maintenance twice a year. Today I had a scheduled maintenance visit with Tara, and I can't say enough good things about her. She was not only professional and thorough, but she really took the time to go above and beyond in explaining things to me in a way that actually made sense. One thing that really stood out was how she walked me through how, why, and when to flush my water heater. She also let me know that they do plumbing too if I'd like help. Honestly, I had no idea this was even something I was supposed to be doing, and she didn't just mention it in passing she made sure to answer all my questions and explain why it mattered.
