As it's STILL approaching 100 degrees in the Valley, I continue to use my air conditioner; however, that finally ran its course two weeks or so ago when my system decided to stop working. I obviously heard of other companies who I won't name, as I don't like to bad-mouth when not appropriate. One company told me I needed a new system ($8,000!!!) and another told me the same, but quoted me at a much lower price (still, $6,000). After talking with a friend of a friend, I was referred to "Lou" of All Valley Air and gave him a call. Super nice and professional on the phone, Lou was able to set an appointment to come by immediately, though I asked for the following day, and he obliged. Lou showed up on time and was able to diagnose my system immediately. In relatively short time, Lou told me that I needed a new "run cap," which I have no clue what that means. Luckily, he had the part in stock. He installed it, which obviously cost me way less than what a new system would cost. Given this, I of course referred him to another friend who was going through a hard time. That other friend JUST called me, which generated my need to write All Valley Air a review. First off, I'm in South Scottsdale, and my friend is in Peoria. Heck of a hike, but I guess that's what "All Valley" in the title means! Hahaha!!! Anyway, this friend of mine had the same issue. She had no cool air, other people trying to sell her ENTIRELY new A/C units. She has a way bigger house than mine, so her estimates were north of $10,000. Lou of All Valley Air went to this house and learned the duct work in the attic simply wasn't connected properly. I think my friend said something needed to be welded, but the point is, Lou did it and the fix certainly didn't require a new unit. My father used to be an auto mechanic, so I know how it goes. Trust is huge in that industry. And probably more than that, trust is huge in the HVAC business in Phoenix and I officially found someone I can trust!!! More so than that, my friend is a female and unfortunately, some females get taken advantage of when it comes to that type of industry. I highly recommend Lou of All Valley Air to all. Let me start by saying how great the response time is from the owner Lou. He answers calls day and night and weekends. He had someone come out immediately to take a look and provided us with an amazing price on our two units. He had us scheduled and service completed in less than a week. He uses quality products and there was no surprises. He anticipated needs to replace the units and provided us with a line by line quote. There was no surprise additional costs. His team worked amazing and they kept it so clean. We have kids and dogs and the entire team was so pleasant to everyone. We thought it would take two days but they surprised us with how efficiently they all work and did it all in one day. They never tried to upsell anything and were honest from the beginning. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. They even showed us how to set up our new thermostats and they registered our units for us. I can definitely recommend this company when it comes to Air Conditiining systems. I have an older unit although they quickly responded and resolved my air conditioner problems twice in the last couple of years. On the first visit Lou from All Valley Air saved me the cost of a new air conditioner as another repair company had incorrectly advised me that my unit was irreparable and then promptly tried to sell me a new one. I called All Valley Air for a second opinion and in just 5 minutes Lou determined that it was just a defective wire which he repaired on the spot at no cost. On the most recent visit Lou once again responded rapidly and resolved the problem quickly and with a fair and minimal charge. I've been in Arizona only 3 years and I've quickly learned the importance of having trust in your air conditioning repair company. Is there an option for 10 stars? Let me just start by saying that I am beyond thankful for this company. Having your air conditioner go out during the hottest time in the Arizona summer is a nightmare, tack on an overheated toddler and a couple panting dogs and you've got yourself quite a stressful situation. Called All Valley Air up, Lou came right out and fixed our AC unit and got us back into those glorious 70s temperatures right away! The service to our air conditioner was A+ and you can tell they are really knowledgeable and provide quality service. Our experience with All Valley Air was nothing short of perfect. Louis Groner, the owner, is very knowledgeable. He answered any question with the upmost of patience and thoroughly explained what would be done. He quoted a price that was very reasonable for the high quality equipment he was installing. American Standard 16 SEER unit was installed professionally, very neatly and within a day. After a brief conversation and description of what had happened he was then able to assertain the problem and had the parts to fix it immediately early that following morning. The technician was thorough, competent, courteous, and proficient. He showed us the faulty part after completion which was very much appreciated because we have no knowledge with regard to the mechanics of AC systems. We were having issues with our old AC system. We had two other companies look at it and got the run around. A relative gave us an AVA business card, I called and Lou was able to come out that day and look at the system.
