I would have given this company four stars except after the move they looked around my place and said that they would help me get rid of empty boxes, trash, etc. They said they come by the next day and like an idiot I'd given them the money in advance. They didn't show. When I called I got no response when I texted. I got no response. The move itself was fine except for some complaining about what had to be moved. This is a small two bedroom house no real furniture or appliances needed to be moved. The moving crew was great. Had Mike not burn me on saying they would come back again, I would've given the company four stars. Now I only give them one. Update: I just returned from my storage space. My friends had to completely redo the front half of my space because they just threw the second load in leaving no space to get to anything. I would have been better off getting a Uhaul and moving my belongings with my friends, seriously saving about $400. I'm sticking with the one star . read more

ZERO STARS! This company is a scam and left my mother to have to finish moving the rest of her stuff because the guys never came back or showed up to finish the job. No call no answer just ghosted the agreement. Marvis quoted my mom 300 and ended up making out with 800+ on top of other personal items he seen and asked for to reduce the cost. They never reduced the cost only took and ended up doing a shitty job unloading the boxes they loaded up on day 1. They are not reliable, they would not answer my moms phone calls ALL day so she was stuck having to miss work to do the work she paid them for. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. I desperately needed help moving and these guys were the only ones who were available that weekend. They showed up on time, but they don't have their own truck, they showed up with a U-Haul. The owner gets out and introduces himself, and his two employees get out and they don't have uniforms or anything. One guy is wearing a pot leaf snapback and the other is wearing a basketball jersey. The guy with the hat was shirtless almost the entire time as well. After the move, they told me how much it was and who to write the check out to. So I pay them and they leave. About 40 minutes later, I get a call from the owner saying that his business account has been frozen because someone wrote a bad check to them? So he had me write another check out to him directly. He gave me my old check, but it felt like something wasn't right. I will say, they were very patient and very nice to me during the move. However, they stole my Nintendo Switch. When I called Marcus, the owner, about it, he accused me of lying, asked if I have video evidence, and then threatened to sue me and my family. These guys are not legit. The photos for their business are not theirs, they don't own their own truck, have any form of uniform or anything. I've moved all across the country with various moving companies and not a single one was remotely as unprofessional and sketchy as All Star Moving and Hauling. read more

These guys are straight LIARS!!! Dont deserve even one star!!!! They quoted my parents $500 and charged them double!!! My father has a very expensive piano that is worth alot of money and they broke it. When my mother called to calmly discuss the situation the Owner started yelling and cussing at my mother. He tried to lie about the move and he talked bad upon my father who is A disabled veteran!!!! I would NEVER recommend these "Men" to Anyone!!!! This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. I scheduled two movers on a weekend to move the larger/heavier items (ex. bed, dresser, washer/dryer all in one unit, compact loveseat, cozy armchair) from my apartment to my new house. The manager arrived with two movers. He left me with two of the sketchiest looking meth heads I have ever seen. I felt very uncomfortable with them. They struggled wrapping my furniture and did a very poor job. They had a hard time lifting my furniture (they dropped several items or just drug them). I had to repeat my instructions several times. They had no idea how to pack a truck. They asked me if they should prop something up or lay it down. It was poorly loaded anyway and numerous items fell and were damaged. They dropped my washer/dryer off the truck, I have no idea of it works. They hit a parked car and did not leave a business card - I ended up leaving a note with my contact information and took photos of the damage (the manager is giving the vehicle owners a hard time now, refusing to pay for damages). I'm trying to get the manager to my furniture repaired and my washer/dryer. No such luck yet. Do yourself a favor, hire literally anyone else. read more

If you have anything of value, monetary or sentimental, don't use this company. They didn't use moving blankets and they scratched and dented our appliances, our furniture and tore the flooring in the house we were moving out of. It was a rental and when I showed the owner of the company he just brushed it off as no big deal. I told him I would lose my deposit if it didn't get fixed and he promised to have someone call me to come out and repair it. That was a lie, no one called me. That was a week ago. Well, after quoting me $125 for three guys with a minimum of 3 hours I scheduled them. Then the next call was $135/hr. Marcus said he would go to Red Bluff. Then he called and asked for cash. I asked if he would take cash then the rest a check because like other reviews he couldn't give an exact amount unless he saw what needed to be moved. Then after we drove 6 hours to be there on moving day he calls (@6:30am) to say he needs all cash and $700! As I did some digging and found it's a fictitious business it's not even listed in any BBB listing and I haul actually has them on a do not call to move list in Redding! I called Marcus to give him this info and offer him $$ to still come and he went off on me and now I'm getting text threats calling me a racist! HA! I'm racist and I've never even seen you? These guys are absolutely awesome! I had a large couch I needed to get into my 2nd floor apartment, too big to go through the front door. I called all over town, most places simply refused to do it, others quoted outrageous prices. Not All Star. They came right over and within 20 minutes they had my couch safely hoisted up over the balcony for a great price! They're who I'm calling when I move! read more
