Good guy! Dude removed some extremely heavy couches on short notice. He communicated to me when he thought he was gonna be late (things take a long-ass time sometimes at the dump, which is one reason to hire Same Day Lugaway in the first place) and he was ultimately only a minute late anyway. He also offered me a discount since I helped (if only a tiny bit), and since I was moving, also offered to take other stuff for free. He had a guy who was gonna help him move the couches, but his help called out sick on the day. Thankfully, the owner is good at his job and was able to disassemble the couches to make it a 1-person job, honoring the appointment. We hired him to do a job but as it progressed both he and I noticed that it would entail more work than either of us thought when discussing the initial bid.
