We Move It did an excellent job for me. I just moved into a home I purchased and it has about 20 steps, a landing, turn and more steps to get up to the front door. I own a piano and a gun safe, which meant it was going to take a great deal of muscle and agility to get these items into the house safely. I was thoroughly impressed with Jeff and his crew. Very disappointing. We called We Move It to get a couple of guys to unload our moving truck. They quoted a price for 2 guys with a three hour minimum. It was a little high compared to the guys we hired in Santa Rosa to load it but we're new to the area and wanted to use a local business so we went for it. We set the arrival time for 9:00 am. At around 9:15 the owner called and said one of his guys flaked and they would be here at ten...ok no problem these things happen. The first guy arrived at ten and then the owner showed up a little after wearing wait for it...sandals. Ok to each his own. He was a very friendly and likable guy. Unfortunately, it seemed like he was there more to supervise than to work. He got in the truck and proceeded to start handing down stuff from the truck to my husband (who is in his sixties with back problems) and his helper. He did however help physically move the few heavy pieces. The purpose of hiring movers is to HAVE THEM MOVE YOUR STUFF!! We didn't touch a thing when we had movers load the truck. The truck was unloaded in two hours I paid for three as agreed. After I paid and they left, I went to the truck and saw that they left a mess. We had rented 3 dozen furniture pads and used cords and string to secure the items in the truck plus used plastic on many items and all of it was just thrown all over the truck. We had to spend another half hour ourselves folding up the pads and sweeping out the truck in order to get our deposit back. NOT HAPPY! So I paid for 3 hours got 2 and then had to finish their work. I do not recommend this business!! read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. We bought a hot tub from a friend and needed to have it moved to our home. The owner Jeff said it would be about two weeks before they could move it since this is their busy period. Other moving companies had the same timeline, so this was not concerning for my wife and I. The day of the move I received a call from Jeff saying they could be there early which was a nice surprise. When they arrived they quickly assessed the move and got to work. They had the hot tub loaded onto their truck within 15 minutes. When they arrived at our home, I showed them where we wanted the tub and how we wanted it oriented. They got it installed exactly as we requested without any damage. The entire time, Jeff and his employer Derek were friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone else. read more

Had to move a spa; was quoted 350 for the short move and power disconnect. Jeff shows up and tells me it is 100 dollars more because it was dropped down 18 inches on a lower patio. I even helped move it!! Then charged me another 50 dollars at the new location because it had to be slid into the backyard without a rolling device due to clearance problems. This whole move took 2 hours; I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, he may keep pounding money out of you. Also, he treated his hired help like he owned him. read more

We Move It not only answered the phone, they gave me a quote and then gave me a deal for two days later because they were already in the area. The owner is nice, but did a horrible job and damage our stuff. He took zero responsibility even though there were a lot of pictures. I called him a few times and he said there was nothing he can do. My option was to take him to court which I might still do. Mean while, he has no business moving people's stuff. We know a lot of people, and they all know our situation and saw the pictures of our stuff. He could have reimbursed what I paid him, but he wouldn't do that either. Bad business move. There is another company in town that we have used before, but they were booked on the date we needed to move. They moved us across town a few years back, and loaded and unloaded under four hours. It cost me more to have this guy to just load the trailer. He spent just over four hours which I didn't mind if my stuff was packed right. You don't stack eight tubs on top of each other! Or put a tool box on a book shelf. And you should never stack a glass desk next to $400 sofa table, where the glass cut chuncks out of table and ruined the finish . Never, Ever Again! read more

So I needed someone to move my new outdoor spa to a deck above my garage. Another mover in town assessed my house on Google Earth and quoted me over $525 over the phone because they needed to rent a crane. I thought that was pretty steep, since the tub is small and only weighs about $300 lbs. I saw online that We Move It had a special spa dolly, so I called Jeff. He came out and I showed him the ramp verses using a crane. He told me the best way to move the tub in his opinion was to use a crane, like the other moving company had suggested. He told me he could make over three hundred bucks over the crane rental by calling a crane company in town, like the other movers, but instead gave me the crane rental number, told me to call them directly and told me to let them know they only needed to bring their smallest crane. I called them and they told me they would charge about $220! We Move It is an honest business which is rare to find these days. Thank you for your integrety, We Move It. read more

Great job! I needed to move a hot tub. There wasn't a whole lot of room to get it out of the yard - about 1 inch on either side to get through the gate.. The owner was responsive to every phone call and they showed up right on time. We were left in dire straights by the owners of the house we were purchasing; and Jeff and his staff worked with us and our realtors to make sure that we were moved in on the non scheduled day; despite already having a full days work booked.
