He said he could fix it for a certain number, but it wasn't necessary. The man saved me thousands of dollars and earned my trust. He clearly knows what he's doing. I know who I'm calling the next time I need any wood or bathroom work done. I'll also add he emphasized he didn't mind small jobs at all; a very helpful thing to know. In July, I discovered that we had serious wood rot issues and reached out to several contractors. Ezequiel was not the least expensive but I recognized immediately his absolute dedication to doing quality work. Oddly, he doesn't put his contracts in writing and normally that would be a nonstarter for me ... especially with fronting half of the $ up front! But I reached out to former customers and you just get a sense of Ezequiel's integrity when talking with him . We shook hands on the deal and it was one of the best decisions ever. Ezequiel told me up front that I likely had additional wood rot that I hadn't yet discovered. Our upfront deal included replacing all the cosmetic (not structural) wood rot on the house, building brand new shutters, and painting the house. Structural wood rot discovered wood be separate. He did indeed find major structural wood rot and his price to fix that was very fair. I really feel that someone without Ezequiel's integrity would have gouged me on that. I was so pleased with the work that we did another handshake deal to build out a screened in patio under my deck. Overall my wife and I are thrilled with the work and recommend Ezequiel to everyone. The key differentiator with him is the pride in the work. He doesn't cut corners when the customer would never know. He would know . He wants the work to be done thoroughly and right.

The workman was prompt and very pleasant. He worked diligently all day and when he was done he cleaned up and left the place looking better than when he got there. I couldn't be happier with the result! Now I can get the porch ready for company and no longer have to worry about how long it will take to get a painter to do the work. There was a vague allusion to some storm damage from last year's hurricane that never made it here (even though they hadn't inspected anything.) I never got a quote and told them I wasn't interested, then received excuses instead of what I needed and warnings about how hard it is to call my insurance company and file a claim. Without knowing anything about the job a number of $14,000 or so was tossed out after informing them we were not interested. Another company (Mancilla Roofing) did a thorough inspection, climbed up on the roof and listed things they needed to do specifically, gave us materials samples to mull over, and quoted $9,000 for the entire job to include replacing all the roof vents and features, and even running a magnet over the property to find any nails that may have escaped their work area. These guys seem to be locking themselves into potential customers through the insurance company immediately to pretty much name their price and prevent anyone else from competing with them. I didn't get the feeling that any of this was on the level, but I am guessing that if they can overcharge insurance companies enough this way their actual roofing work should be done pretty well and they wouldn't have to cut corners. The other reviewers here who don't seem to understand how their insurance works all gave them 5 stars after all.

Then while doing the work Jonathan has been one of the best people I have EVER worked with. Even after the job was done and I wanted a couple alterations he came back and wouldn't take my money. The person they sent out stayed over 12 hours when I was told the work would take 3-4- the majority of which he struggled with the pocket door. The shelves and front door frame are perfect but the pocket door literally fell off the top hinges and scraped the inside of the door compartment anytime it was used. When I contacted the manager of this company, he apologized and agreed to send somebody out to fix the door. Well, he sent somebody but didn't notify me that he was so I wasn't home when the handyman arrived. Despite repeated attempts to reach them and set up another time for them to come out and fix what should've been fixed the first time, I have gotten no reply for weeks. I wish I'd spent the extra $200 to hire somebody else originally. Sometimes you get what you pay for, so if you're looking for half-assed work and shitty communication these are the people for you. In response to the owner: your company had so many opportunities to do the right thing. It shouldn't take me seeking out a new method of communicating with you to get the work done.
