Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help with their garage doors to call All Right Garage Doors. Very easy to schedule an appointment, they were prompt in coming when they said they would be there and called 20 minutes prior to arrival to make sure someone was home and available. Our problem ended up being a very simple issue to fix and David was great about explaining what the problem was and showing me how to fix it myself if it ever happened again. Will definitely call again whenever we need work done on our garage doors. Sincerely, A VERY happy customer read more

Had a broken spring. Fast response, fair price, great experience overall. Will definitely use again.

Excellent attitude and very professional. You can't go wrong using him. He arrived on time and cost was as expected per conversation.

David did a great job. Can't complain at all. In and out in about an hour or so; he was incredibly honest from start to finish and just a good guy. I would highly recommend him. He shows his gratitude to law enforcement, military, fire fighters, and educators by offering a discount. He's a one man show and does a great job. *UPDATE: 3/12/2017* Got home from a trip at 12:22PM on Sunday and our garage spring broke while we were waiting for the door to open. Thankfully the LiftMaster was able to pull the door all the way open (impressive). I walked up to the business card David had left next to our opener switch from his previous installation and gave him a call, fully-expecting to leave a message and hoped to schedule an appointment for later this week. I left a message and 2 minutes later was surprised as my phone was ringing. It was David... David: "I'll be there by 2:00." Me: "Wait, no you don't need to come over on your Sunday!" David: "Take a picture of the spring and send it to me." (Sent him a picture) David: "See you around 2." I mean this is ELITE service. I just can't recommend him highly enough. I don't even care how things turn out this afternoon (I'm writing this at 1:30), he's already done enough to warrant this review update (I wish Yelp would allow us to invoke some secret 6th Star award for special occasions like this). Thank you again, David. read more

I did a review for ARGD in 2014 and Dave was great, so of course when another problem cropped up, I contacted him again. He was able to get my issue looked at the next day. The fix was quick and priced right! No inflated price or pressure for unneeded work and he explained exactly what was going on. read more

David was absolutely amazing! From the very first phone call he was very responsive, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Our garage door spring had completely broken. All I had to do was take a few pictures of the door to send to David so he could see the make and model. He knew exactly which door it was from just the pic and he ordered a new spring right away. As soon as the spring came in he was at our house the very next day. Our garage works great and we highly recommend All Right Garage Doors of Puyallup to everyone! read more

All Right Garage Doors NW worked on my home shortly after I purchased it. The current garage setup I had was very dangerous; only one door had censors, the cable and coil strength was not proportionate to the door weight at all, and one of the motors was original to the home, 25 years old! I want to get new doors in the spring (just don't have the money now) so I asked the tech to redo everything in preparation for new doors. He installed new tracks, motors, openers, outside keypad, etc. Everything works perfectly, very professional tech, cleaned up the garage space spic and span when he left. I would totally recommend this company to my family and friends, and will be reaching out to them come spring when I need new doors. read more

Dave was responsive, honest, and fair. When I had a minor garage door emergency, I called several companies from Yelp on a Sunday. Several of the phone numbers go to a call center to be dispatched to a random technician without a real company. Be careful. All Right Garage Doors was not like that. You call and get the owner and sole employee, Dave. Great work! read more

We've used him twice and both times he was prompt and super friendly. His pricing is great! He didn't charge us on his last visit! He saw we just needed to lube the garage door and he did it for free! That's rare these days! read more

My garage door got backed into and slowly began to crack until it got to a point it wouldn't open/close. I called All Right and another local company for bids. The first company came, was here for 5 mins then left me with a bid. Dave from All Right did the same but also patched the door with a temporary fix instead of leaving me high and dry. I decided to go with All Right bc Dave was really good and you can tell he loves his job and is good at it. He showed me several other things (changing out my key pad, re-adjusted my door closing height, re-connected my sensors and upgraded the rollers to nylon ball bearing). Anyways Dave is honest and does the job like he would if it was his own door. I highly recommend him read more

The very first time I needed garage door repair, I called David based on his excellent reviews. That was 5 years ago. Since then, I have had him do repairs 4 times (2 different houses, running into my own garage, worn out springs, etc). He is THE BEST. I even have him programmed into my phone. The first time I called him to replace a spring. He came on time, was super professional, very nice, honest and fair. You just can't get better than that! The second time I ran into my garage door backing out of garage before it was all the way up. I was in a hurry taking my child to school, and after I backed into it, the door would not close! I called him on the way to school at 7 AM, and he was miraculously there at 7:30 (he doesn't even do business till 8 AM). I thought for sure I would need a new door. He somehow fixed it with magic and told me to save my money in case I moved. That door still looks great! So then I moved and had to get a new garage door opener on a super low ceiling. David took care of that in no time at all. His prices are GREAT. My most recent emergency was yesterday. I was closing the sale of my house in less than 24 hours and discovered that my other garage door opener was not working. David came to my rescue AGAIN to check on the connections, sensors, etc. He checked and tightened my opener. I bought a new remote from him. He called it good and didn't charge me for the visit. So many of my friends have called me for his number to do work. They all love him as well--he is fair, nice, prompt, and professional! I cannot recommend David enough for your garage door needs. He is THE BEST! read more

Been working with David for three years when he installed my garage door opener. I can't say enough good things about him and his business. He is professional, competitively priced, arrives on time, does an excellent job, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs garage repairs or work done. He just installed nylon rollers for me and they are super quiet. read more

We had our garage door replaced a couple months ago and it's still working great and looks nice. He seemed very fair on the price, it actually was lower than I anticipated. It was dangerous the way it was setup before and we didn't even know it could of just fallen down on someone. And with a toddler running around he put a safety cord up until the other door came in. Which made me feel better. Very happy & wouldn't hesitate to call again highly recommend. read more

I called several places before contacting All Right Doors. David really knows what he is talking about and I am a big supporter of small business and independant contractors. Several of the places I contacted asked me no questions about what was even wrong with the door before quoting me a price. All Right Doors did great work for us and we will be using them again in the future. Very knowledgable, speedy same day service and excellent customer service. Thank you! read more

Fantastic Service! We had a broken spring replaced on our garage door. The quote over the phone was descriptive and accurate, and he came out on a weekend. Very friendly, prompt, and professional - he calls to let you on when he will be there and was prompt. When we had a problem with our door 4 months later, he came out that same day to look at it. The problem had nothing to do with his work, yet he didn't charge us anything. He got it working again for now, and when we eventually have to replace the motor, we will definitely be going with All Right Garage Doors again. Highest recommendation from us! read more

Rarely have I had better customs service. I was in a major bind with my garage door opener in my rental and with only hours before my new renters moved in David fixed the issue for me over the phone and at the fraction of the cost it would have been if I used anyone else. I can't recommend them more highly and if I could rate them 6 stars - I would. Thanks David! read more

My garage door was severely damaged in the wind storm that hit in March. I found David on yelp and called because he is a local small business with good reviews. David had big job, my door is 14x18. He replaced it himself and did great work. I highly recommend All right garage doors to anybody in the area that needs garage door work, repair, or service. David has my business and referrals for sure! Thank you! read more

I contacted All Right Garage Doors for an estimate on a garage repair and was extremely pleased! David was able to determine what panels I needed by photos and didn't even need to come out. He didn't try to sell me a whole door -like another company did by saying the panels were no longer available! When I explained there was a problem with the opener also he gave me estimates on cost and said he would look at it and only replace it if needed. When the panels arrived, he came out made the repair, noticed there was a wire unplugged on the opener; plugged it back in and no charge (unlike the company that said it needed replaced). His work was good, prices reasonable and his integrity unquestionable! Definitely will be using him again and recommending him every chance I get! read more

Highly recommend David! He was quick to respond to our call and even though originally my husband thought we would need to replace the door he assessed the situation and said it only needed to be repaired. Very honest and professional! read more

Outstanding service!! Not only was David fast and professional, but he took the time to help me get my garage door closed over the phone. David went above and beyond by showing maintenance tips for balancing and added oil where parts of the door squeak. read more

All Right Garage Doors is great. We received a call back right away from Dave and he was able to stop by that day. Fast! I called him Thursday he showed up Friday at 9am and was done by 9:15. Pricing was good also. Thank you for the great job!

David was very friendly and professional. He lived up to all the other reviews that I read before choosing him. He was upfront with all costs and labor. He was here actually earlier than we had scheduled, but called before he came. Great customer service. Thanks David read more

Came home to find that the garage door wouldn't go up due to a broken tension spring. I called All Right Garage Doors, Inc and Dave answered at 7pm at night and asked me to text him some pictures. I was initially concerned that he would recommend replacing more than just the broken parts as the door is from 1961but he did not. He knew right away what kind of spring it needed and promised to come out a day later between 9-11am and make the repair for an estimated 285 dollars. True to his word he showed up as planned and the repair was completed in about 45 minutes and for the estimated cost. My wife was home alone and was completely comfortable Dave. I can't say enough good things about this company and Dave! read more

Great, Quick Personable, but you are dealing with the person who owns the business, and does the work. No 800 numbers and referrals. Close and local for Pierce County. read more

The torsion spring on our garage door broke Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I looked online and read about things to watch out for when hiring out for repair. Read reviews on yelp and decided to give David a call Friday morning. He gave me what I believed was a fair quote and was out later that morning and repaired the door. He did warn me that it could be more depending on what he found. He was very polite and professional, and came in right at his quote. He checked the other doors for good measure but didn't see anything that needed immediate attention. I Won't hesitate to call him again when needed and will highly recommend him. read more

David was great! Professional on the phone. Excellent communication. Did the job fast and well. Very competitive prices. I'll have no hesitation recommending David and All Right Garage Doors in the future. read more

We originally had David come out to look at our Garage Door back in January, 2019 due to some unusually noises. He was highly professional in all of his interfaces with us and showed us how we could tune-up the door. The sound level dropped by 80%. David insisted that he would not take a payment since he had not done any actual repair work. This is when we knew the integrity of who we were working with in David. In March our door spring finally broke and we did not hesitate for a moment to call David. Per usual, he was professional, prompt and did an excellent job fixing our garage door. I had no reason to question the cost, however, since I had never had this service done before, I did check on Home Advisor. Of course David was slightly lower then the average cost. In a world of questionable trust and difficult to find service professionals, you can stop your search right now and trust David and his company, All Right Garage Door Northwest. Trust us, no more searching required! Thank you David! read more

Since we purchased our home in 2011, we had nothing but problems with the garage door opener that came with the house. Eventually the device went out and we called one of the large garage door repair companies to repair. They ended up sending out a subcontractor who barely spoke English and wound up charging us nearly $700 to replace our garage door opener. We were in a tight spot and had no time for a second opinion. The technician did a crappy job and the unit wobbled like crazy. The unit lasted less than 2 years due to the bad installation and that's when we called All Right Garage Doors NW. David came out in the evening after we were home from work. He inspected everything and gave us a few options. What I was most pleasantly surprised by was A) David's honesty and B) his service ethics. He didn't try to up sale us and didn't even charge us for the consultation. Ultimately we decided to replace the unit one more time. David tore down the inferior installation, installed a new unit, braced it properly (sturdy enough he could hang from the unit), installed new key pads and then installed a new support strut on our garage door. All of that and we paid slightly more than half what the large company that gouged us charged. David is friendly, honest, and obviously takes pride in his service. I enthusiastically recommend his company to anyone needing quality garage door repairs done at an honest and fair price! read more

David was a great guy and excellent businessman. I felt comfortable having him in my home/garage. We had been in the house for awhile and the motor purred but the door wouldn't open. The rollers kept coming out of the rail when we opened the door manually. He was very clear in his explanation of what needed to be done and although he could have sold me something I asked for, he was honest enough to let me know where I could buy something more specific for my system. His price was very reasonable and he would be worth it for twice the price (no David, this does not mean you should raise your prices! :) He was professional and I will recommend him to anyone who has an issue with their garage doors. Thanks David! Jeane and Brian in Puyallup. read more

I called David Christensen shortly after moving into our brand new home in Puyallup, to have a garage door opener installed. He was able to come quickly and installed our new opener. However, because of how the builders constructed our garage support beam, it caused a problem with opening our garage door fully (one panel hung down). The only solution was to purchase a side by side opener (top of the line) which then required us to have an outlet installed near the top of the door. (No problem) :) We used the first opener for two days, before Dave came back with the nicer opener and re-installed it for us. He was very kind and accommodating to our needs and made us a priority. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but came with a positive attitude and great conversation. I would highly recommend All Right Garage Doors for your garage door needs. I will be sharing his business card with my friends in the area. I absolutely love our opener, it is as silent as hearing my furnace turn on, and I love having the dead bolt lock the inside of our garage door for extra security. Not only that, but took his advice about having our key entry box installed by our front porch instead of by the garage. AWESOME IDEA! Thank you David for great service! ~The Sosa Family read more

My tension spring broke on my garage door. I called Dave asking for a quote. He was very relaxed and low pressure. Gave me a set price for a one spring or two spring replacement. I had installed insulation paneling on my door after it broke, and before it was fixed. I asked him a bunch of questions regarding preferred styles and how it would affect my spring choice. He was extremely patient and provided me a ton of extra info. I called around to a few other companies to gauge his pricing. All the other companies were greasy and high pressure. I liked that he was a local small company, honest, up front and his pricing was very fair/comparable if not far better. He came the same day and provided a fix. I watched him work as I was interested in learning about the fix. He walked me through step by step. He even did a once over inspection on my whole system. He provided a couple tips and some suggestions on fixes to keep in mind for a later date (which happened to be do it yourself kinds of solutions). He went so far above and beyond I cannot stress it. He was super respectful and professional. I would recommend him over any other company out there! read more

I was extremely pleased with the work done on our garage door. He spent the time listening to to the problem and providing a cost effective solution to resolving the problem. I found out that our garage door was splitting and he was able to find a safe & cost effective solution to fix/salvage our pre-existing door. I really like show he took the time to explain what and why he was doing what he was doing. Was able to get to my home the same day and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling him back should other garage door needs arise! Highly recommend! read more
