Wow! My husband and I cannot be more satisfied with AAA Garage Door Services! Is it possible to give more than 5 stars?! I called to see if they service Covington, they do! They offered to come out and give a free estimate. The technician (ABE) called and told me his ETA was about 45 min, he called again and told me he'll be at our residence in 10 min. Here goes.. the response time was amazing (he was on time), the fact that Abe called me to give me an ETA was great! Hang on there's more.. the fact that he gave me another call to tell me he's 10 mins out, was not expected and that stood out to us. Abe came, checked out the issue, which was a broken spring and gave us a killer deal. Abe didn't play any games with trying to up sale anything, he was transparent and upfront with the cost. He went above and beyond by recalibrating and servicing our door. My husband was talking to him and watching him work, he was fast and efficient. Their values align as in: 1) it's not always about making an extra buck to potentially lose any future clients; give them a good deal and eventually that will bring future clients by word of mouth 2) if there's a will there's a way The 2nd value is where it stood out as well, we have those garage Costco storage racks, that added a challenge for Abe, however rather than saying he couldn't tighten it any more or come up with an excuse that we believe many would have come up with, he went back out to his truck, found some tools and made it work. All said and done, from the time of his arrival til his completed work, it was only an hr. We couldn't be more satisfied with his work. I'm hoping that we don't need any services in the near future but IF we do, we know who to call. I actually hit my garage door with my car, damaging the lower section, knocking off one track and bending the other. My door is solid wood and very heavy, so I figured it would be an expensive repair. The guys at AAA GDS were great. They arrived in just over an hour after I called. They asked for pictures first. When the tech arrived he assessed the damage and gave me two options for repair but suggested I replace the bent track. It made sense but I couldn't afford to do it, especially given the time of year- Christmas. He understood and quoted me a price for the labor. He and another tech spent 4 hours making sure the door was safe and correct in all areas. The price of $750 was a great value and my garage door is like new. Nightmare Scenario. I would never hire or recommend this Company to anyone. Business owner threatened me. Pulled a bait and switch. States there would be a flat rate charge of $25 to reset my garage door keypad. After they could not reset the keypad or properly diagnose the issues ( blaming me for it) and desperately trying to sell me other products and additional services (30-45 mins had passed by now) I knew something was very wrong. I asked them to leave and explained to them that no repairs had been made at this point and in the past it had never taken more than 5 mins to repair or reset our keypad code. The 2 men stated they would not leave unless I paid them $100, even though no repairs had taken place and a flat rate of $25 via the Yelp project messaging feature had been quoted. I advised them they could park along the sidewalk, off my property, and I would call their company to discuss with their manager/owner. They refused to leave. I had to go to my neighbors home and call the police, make an incident report, after asking him and his associate to leave my property 3x. They refused to leave and proceeded to threaten me, yelling "You're going to pay for this, you'll see!" All this, while I was home alone with my 2 children. All caught on my 24/7 home security cameras. They also had disabled both of my garage doors and also refused to assist me in getting them closed. I later called their company in hopes of finding a resolution and ladvise why payment wasn't made. When I called, I asked the person who answered the companies phone, if he was one of the technician's who had come to my residence because I recognized his voice. He stated he was not the person who came to my home but he was the in-fact the owner, who just happened to share the same name as the Repair Technician " Dor" . I proceeded to advise the "Owner" about the incident that took place. By the end of the call, "Dor" the owner admitted he was also the technician who was at my home. On the day of the incident I was able to immediately get another Garage Repair technician to my residence, from a reputable and professional company, who diagnosed the issue within 5 mins. The issue was not my keypad, mis-entered keypad code or the garage door track " wheels" as they had advised me. The work was completed by the 2nd company's technician and no one threatened me or tried to extort $100 from me. As I had requested, they advised me of any applicable charges that would apply before work was completed, after they diagnosed the issue. I wonder how many other people, specifically women, whom they've done this to? I will be issuing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

These guys worked so hard to repair our garage doors and save us the cost of new doors. In the long run the old doors were just too old. They replaced not only the doors but all the tracks and openers. Due to a storage solution we had built they had to do a lot of extra work to make the new doors fit. Shortly after that we had a mechanical issue with one of the openers. Despite the problem not being caused by them they came out and fixed it.
