Tomy was very communicative and his service was exceptional. I got a new 16x7 insulated garage door and a new belt garage opener that is whisper quiet. He came on time and got the job done quickly. I have a new garage door guy, and it's Tomy. His price was better than all the others. I will be recommending him to my neighbors and family. read more

Tomy was quick to respond and promptly provided an estimate and was able to complete repairs in an efficient and cost appropriate manner. I would highly recommend him for any of your garage door needs. read more

I was having so many issues with flakey garage door contractors in Seattle until Tommy came by! He's super knowledgeable and responsive. He actually offered to fix my door rather than go to a straight replacement, which saved me a bunch of money. He gave me an estimated based on some pictures I sent him, and was able to come out next day to do the work. Everything looks great and he explained to me everything he did. Thank you Tommy! read more

Great job, informative, fair price, just as mentioned by others - I'll be going back to them.

I goofed and hit my garage which knocked the bottom roller off the track. I tried fixing it myself and made it worst to where my garage was stuck. At 7:30AM I called Tomys Garage Door and they had a technician swing by at 9AM. The technician, David, was very thorough and managed to put the roller back onto the track in a few minutes. He also replaced 2 garage door struts with new door brackets. In total, the David was at my place for around 30 minutes. He also was very informative and educating me about the garage. Apparently my effort to fix the garage myself could have been very bad, so I recommend to let the professionals handle this. David also applied Garage Door Lube free of charge and taught me how to do it (which is pretty easy). Now my garage opens/closes much quieter due to the lube. If I ever hit my garage with my car again, I'll be sure to contact them! read more

He was very responsive, professional and experienced person. I'd recommend him for any garage service. He knows this stuff very well.

I placed a request for immediate garage door repair on Yelp and Tomys reached out quickly. I appreciated getting a text with a link so I could verify the business' rating on Yelp and feel more confident in engaging them. Tomys was able to send Josh from Next Door Garage out immediately and he arrived within 45 mins of the initial contact. I am definitely happy with the speed, professionalism and ease of doing business with Tomys. Josh was pleasant and knowledgeable, as well as efficient and fast. Our door was repaired, serviced and operational within 2.5 hours of the initial service request. read more

My husband and I had an outstanding experience with Tommy from Tommy's Garage Door. He managed to come out the very same day we called, which was a rarity. Unlike the larger companies, Tommy gave us a fair price quote over the phone--no fuss, no surprises. When he arrived, he was straightforward, honest, and did a beautiful job on our garage door. We needed the weather stripping replaced, and the door needed some adjustment, which he did without any extra charge. We had previously contacted a few larger companies, and every one of them seemed quite dishonest, recommending unnecessary replacements just to inflate the bill. In contrast, Tommy was completely transparent and never tried to upsell us. He truly cares about his reputation, and it shows in his work. We highly recommend him and would absolutely call on him again in the future. Thanks to him, our garage door works perfectly, and we felt we were in good hands the whole time. call him first! read more

My garage door lock broke. I checked yelp for a 5 star company, selected Tomys and received a promise to be out the next day despite that being Sun. When nobody showed, I called and was told their repair van was down for service but they would be out Mon. The technician arrived at the end of the 2 hour appt window. He replaced the broken lock. I asked him to adjust the spring tension as the door had been increasingly hard to open. He said the springs were old and He would adjust them but they would likely break within a year. I saw no obvious wear but deferred to his professional judgement. He put on the springs but then pointed out the rod has some rust and he said I needed to replace that or it could break. I agreed to his putting in a new rod. I had been given an estimate of $250 for a new lock. The technician punched various items into his device and blithely stated I owed him $1200. His card reader wasn't working so I would have to pay in cash or with a check. He said they would send an itemized receipt to my email. I was wondering if I had been scammed into unnecessary, over priced repairs. I never received an email copy for the work and its charges. I reached out to Tomys this morning leaving a message that I was displeased with their service and would be writing a negative review. My call was ignored. My conclusion is my suspicion that I was the victim of a disreputable technician was justified. I strongly recommend anyone checking reviews before hiring look further. This is not a firm you can trust. read more

The seal on the bottom of our garage door needed to be replaced and when I reached out to Tomys via Yelp I got an immediate response with a quote and he came the next day! Turns out he had to order a special seal since ours is no longer manufactured so once it came in he came right back out and finished the job. Price was reasonable and he was polite and efficient. Will be hiring Tomys for all garage needs moving forward! read more

Josh showed up on time and fixed all of our garage issues within 10 min. Thank you so much!

Well appreciated doing business with this company with the replacement of my garage door opener..

I completely recommend Tomys service, he came to me so fast and finished in just 50 minutes and did an excellent job!

The early bird gets the worm.. I put a post out requesting service of my garage door and in a matter of minutes Tommy answered my call for help. We were probably able to schedule an appointment for the following day. He kept good communications with me letting me know when he was almost to my home. He was within the window of time that we agreed upon. He replaced the spring on my door and when there was another issue going on he took care of that.. I was working on a project when he arrived and was struggling and he offered to assist. He was extremely polite and took very good care of me. He offered several different payment options, and all was great. I'm just waiting for the The receipt in the email.. This comes with a warranty. The price was comparable to other garage repair companies; as last year I had to replace a spring on a different garage door. I would definitely use Tommy again if my third garage goes kaput. Thank you so much Tommy for your service. I wish you all the best read more

Great quality and very fast service. They were on time and installed door in given time frame.

Amazing experience. Came in less than an hour, fixed the issue and we're in and out with repair in less than two hours. Highly recommend

Tommy was great. Sent out one of Yelp's bulk service requests and he replied immediately - like within *seconds*. He quoted me a price right away and we scheduled service for the next day. He was late due to traffic but still arrived during the time of day I had requested - wasn't a huge deal for me. He fixed a broken garage spring and a functional spring I felt was probably in need or replacement as well. Probably took 40 minutes and everything was working again. Very nice guy. He also provided me with a quote I requested for a replacement opener - in case we want to do that in the near future. Oh - and he charged me less than he quoted! Not sure if I've ever left a Yelp review but this really was a good service/repair experience. read more

No big company pressure at all) - On time - Very fair price - quick Thank you Tomy! read more

Tomys Garage Door - Sad broken spring before Tomy replaced it - Garage Door Services Near Me - Renton, Washington

Tomy replied to my quote sent around 11pm almost immediately for installing a garage door opener... And provided with a really good price. I didn't notice Tomy is in south so I asked around closer to my home before deciding to go with him (while waiting for some parts to be delivered as well). Finally I checked all the good reviews and got to Tomy again - and he responded in a few minutes as well! When he came in, he's really professional getting everything ready and started with accessories and then the main opener. He would explain everything if you ask and finished the whole job in a timely manner, not to mention the quality of the job is great. He also helped with setting up the keypad / remote / switches and everything works fantastically now. I'll definitely recommend Tomy's to my friends if they need anything done for the garage door! read more

Pinged around one evening for Garage door repair, and Tommy was the first to respond. He showed up 8:30AM the next morning ready to work. After spending almost $3000 less than a year ago for Tommy to replace and insulate our garage door, I text and emailed him again to come out because we were having issues with the keypad and the door rubbing. He replied that he would arrive between 3-5 pm yesterday and never showed, never replied to numerous texts and there is no answer at his published phone number, and still no word as of this writing. We thought we were supporting a standup, small businessman, but apparently we were wrong. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful of his customer's time. read more

They responded quickly and were here at my house within an hour so kudos for that. However once they arrived, he tried upselling me on things I didn't necessarily need like new springs, $100 to restring a wire etc. will see if the work holds up so a mixed review for this garage door owner. read more

Tomy was absolutely wonderful. Beyond responsive, efficient, caring , & to be honest 5 stars is definitely not enough! He took his time to explain yet did the job quickly and efficiently. I called him at 11am and he was able to fit me in at 130. He already had a busy day planned but he still took his personal time to take care of the garage emergency I had at my home. It's great to see people who truly care for their work and their customers. Tomy if I could have given you 11 stars it still wouldn't be enough! Referrals are definitely what I will forever send you.
