After multiple outreaches and stops/starts on a project to replace a skimmer he finally completed the work with the exception of pouring the concrete. We hired another, licensed company who ended up having to re-do everything because it was not done correctly. We even found a work shirt with the owners' logo on it wadded up and blocking the return pipe. Because of all the delays, our pool became an algae-filled lagoon and we had to have it drained and acid washed. This job ended up costing 3x what we thought we would have to pay, but at least the other company finished it on-time. Avoid!

Where or where to start..... Well back in July of this year we signed with Mathew Gonzalez to redo…read moreour pool. He asked for a $6,000 deposit to start the work. We paid not knowing what laid ahead. By the first week of September the pool was finally starting the demolition phase where the coping and plaster were removed. This process alone took Mathew until October 22 to have completed. In the meantime we sent countless messages to him asking him when the work in our pool would continue. Many times he didn't respond at all or answer his phone. Every time he had an excuse as to why he was unavailable and promised to come soon to finish the job. This went on for 2 months. He continued to ask for more money even though very little or no work was being done. Fast forward to the end of October where we finally fired him for his incompetence in completing the pool renovation as agreed upon. We spoke to him and asked for some of our money back and he agreed to pay us back. What a joke! We have written him twice asking for a reimbursement since he never completed the project. He is refusing to respond. We fully intend to take him to small claims court. A week ago, we got a knock on the door by one of his employees. It appears that he hired this guy to do the pool demolition and never paid him a dime. Come to find out there are 2 other families that he did this to as well. All parties are filing suit against him. Please please be very weary with Mathew Gonzalez. He will say a lot and deliver nothing! He is a dishonest person looking to get money and that's all. If he has done this to you please go to court. That's the only way he will be stopped and not do this to others again. I take full responsibility for not checking into him before agreeing to have our pool completed by him. That being said, I just want to warn others not to fall for his lies and get taken advantage of. Our pool now has been completed by a very reputable company and it looks AMAZING!

He rewired them to work in sync and replaced the interior switch. They work perfectly. He also installed a hard wired exterior 8 security camera system with a 2 terabyte hard drive. Can't say enough good things about this entire company. We've lived in our house for less than a…read moreyear and it became clear the pool/spa had a leak. These guys came out, did the detection, found where they thought it was, and gave us a fair quote for the repair. So we had them do the job. Only then did the job spiral...getting to the leak took far more work than is typical due to the odd construction of our pool 20 years ago, and involved cutting through feet of solid concrete. These guys worked through intense July heat for many more days than they had expected, and the entire time they were polite, patient, and transparent with how things were going. Eventually they found multiple leaks and so we ended up just capping those pipes off and replumbing the whole spa. Not only were they diligent, but the final masonry work they did to cover everything back up is seamlessly integrated with our existing flagstone and plaster. They've also been patient and accommodating with two follow up visits at our request. I was really impressed by this entire crew.

I was told someone would call later that day to confirm what time the technician would arrive. I didn't get a call and almost noon the next day I called if someone was still coming. The person who answered wasn't sure but said he'd look into it. A few hours later, the technician arrived and diagnosed the problem. Then he said he would come back the following day with the parts needed. The one star I deducted is only because of the lack of clarity of the appointment. But the work itself was 5 stars and the charges were in line with the estimates. The technician (I think his name is Mike?) was efficient and did a great job. He was nice - we even exchanged bucket list travel destinations. (One of his was glass igloos in Iceland - now I'd like to experience those, too!) I wouldn't hesitate hiring them again. If I had read the more recent reviews, I may not have gone with them, but I'm glad I did. Service was performed 6/8 and 6/9

More like worst pool service filled with a bunch of idiots who cannot seem to do their very simple…read morefeeble minded jobs. This service manages the pools of my condo association/community and I have numerous emails each month sent for the past year + of the same issues over. And over. And over again. Honestly, I don't know why this company even gets paid to do their job, because it isn't being done. Whether the water is low, hot tub is not hot, pools self draining, not clean (the pools were shut down by the health department under this sham of a company), or timers that don't work and waste community money because the hot tub runs 24/7. Prior to this joke of a company coming in, all pool equipment was replaced yet there always seems to be a problem. This company should be surcharged, sued, and put out of business for their professional (lack of it) negligence in attempting to clean/maintain a pool. Absolutely avoid avoid avoid. Ps. They cannot seem to read either, the work orders asking for maintenance and repairs are so simple a monkey could understand it. Disgusting that this company takes money from people, companies and hoas for their ineptness.
