Oops - started drilling through brick and we wanted them to drill inside. We stopped it in time. Kind of.
    Shannah H.

We had a great experience on our recent foundation repair with All Pro. For reference - We had 21 helical piers installed; two inside and 19 outside. From arrival to departure, the foundation crew was onsite for 6-and-1/2 hours and took a 30 minute lunch break. Most of that time was spent in prep and clean up. The installation of the piers and lifting the house went very quickly - maybe 30 minutes total. Step One: Move all furniture away from the work area. Side note - realize that you really should clean behind your furniture more often, so quickly clean before the work crew arrives. Step Two: Wonder if your foundation might go back into alignment naturally from the weight of all of your furniture in a different part of the house. Also: Realize that this is an excellent time to purge the crazy things that you've kept for far too long (like that 1999 hardback edition of Roget's Thesarus). Step Three: Take a final glance at your landscaping as you once knew it. In our case, wonder how much worse it can look than it already does. (You'll regret that question later.) Step Four: Goodbye holly bushes. We were going to remove those within the next few months anyway, so we opted to have the foundation crew cut them out rather than dig and replace. Step Five: Make sure you verify where they should be drilling before they start drilling. Our sales rep forgot to write down that we wanted the porch-side piers installed from the inside of the house rather than through the brick of the porch itself. At least we stopped it before they went further than the two starter drill holes... Step Six: Protect the tile entryway and pull back the carpet and padding. Fight the temptation to pull the carpet out altogether - even though we're going to do something different with our flooring within the next 12-18 months, the carpet will be nice, even in its old worn-out state, for the interim. Step Seven: Make sure you put any pets in the house far from the action. Jackhammering sounds like gunfire. Step Eight: Realize that you shouldn't have worried about cleaning. Step Nine: Meanwhile outside, similar holes are being dug (without the jackhammer and dirt thrown around the interior of the house) along the foundation at points identified by the engineer. Step Ten: Pier installation. A machine helps drive the piers in. Step Eleven: After the piers are installed and the house is lifted (the crew measures as they go to make sure it's being adjusted correctly), the crew cleans up and fills in the holes. But surprise (or maybe not) - the concrete has to cure for two days before you can replace the padding and carpet. If you're thinking of letting your pets out and about in the house, beware of doing it too soon because you may end up with little pawprints in the concrete. (They are very cute, by the way.) We quickly learned that we had to keep the boys locked up until we could put the carpet back after one of our kittens jumped onto a carpet tack and left a blood trail throughout the house. Kittens just aren't careful or graceful enough to stay safe. Part of the final clean up was putting all of our holly bushes in the back yard and stacking them according to our city's guidelines for collection. The work crew carried the bushes to the back, but my husband took care of stacking everything. I hope this is helpful as you prepare for your next foundation repair!

Photos of text threads included so that Emmanuel (Owner) cannot claim that I'm being untruthful. I was given a quote by Jesse F. to have my kitchen cabinets rehung due to them pulling away from the walls. I had 5 cabinets that needed to be rehung. It appeared to me that in the contract they had misquoted me. It stated that they were only going to rehang one of the cabinets. This concerned me, so I reached out to confirm that this was a typo and that they would address all the cabinets that needed attention as I had originally explained to them. I got a response at noon the following day which was simply an updated contract with a price increase because "they miscounted originally and did not review all of the photos and messages I sent". The incorrect line item (1) cabinet was not changed either. The only change in the whole contract was the price. The job size increased 20% from what they claim to have originally quoted me, however, the price of the overall job increased by 40%. I asked where this number came from and how they calculated job totals and I did not get any good answers. From my perspective, it appears that they decided to increase the price of the overall job due to me asking a question about the typo on the first contract. And on top of that, they increased it by a markedly higher percentage. Emmanuel the owner is claiming that I did not submit photos of all areas needing repair (this is false and I have the records to prove it). I also recorded the phone call I made with Jesse F. where he admitted that this was an in house error between himself and the estimator. I would love to believe that was the case, but the line items did not change. Only the price went up. Emmanuel the owner did not help at all once I explained the situation. What he did do was offer this job on an hourly rate, which likely would have cost EVEN MORE money. I personally am a self employed contractor. If I ever gave someone the wrong price (especially if it's only off by $200), I would personally eat that $200 as a business owner to keep my customers happy and also in the hopes of repeat or word of mouth business. Overall this was a very bad experience. Poor customer service. Poor business management. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different company.

As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. I'm still building my "rolodex" for home repairs, renovations, and HVAC, but glad I'm taking one big one off my list.

Shower, tub, floors, tile, lighting, electrical, tile, fans/vents, painting and more. I give them my highest recommendation. See before and after photos. Excellent communication, beginning with their response to my initial request for information and throughout the whole project. The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.
