Service was really wonderful here! They have a delicious and affordable lunch special. Beautiful restaurant, very clean and well run. My mother and I are both enjoyed the lunch special, the garlic naan was tasty as was the rice and chicken. Very nice flavors all around. Great option if you are looking for Indian food in the area!

Came in for a late lunch, staff was attentive and fast. I had some samosas, probably the best I've ever had! The tandoori chicken for lunch was good, but the chicken was dry hence the four stars. Overall, will definitely come here again!

Wow!!!!!!!! Food was FAMTASTIC! Some of the best chicken tikki masala I ever had! Red wine was a bit eh... but everything else, salad dressing, daal soup, garlic naan, rice and more were all fantastic! LOVE the ground seating option. It was so fun and vibey! Really good service. They double checked to let me know if things had gluten in them and I really appreciate that care for my food sensitiviies.

We recently visited the Arcadia location and enjoyed it so much that we decided to meet up with friends at the Glendale spot. My friend and I ordered from the Dine LA menu, while another friend chose the Frankie wrap, and my husband went with the fish tikka masala, onion naan, and a salad. The Dine LA combo was such a great deal--it came with a flaky, flavorful samosa, chicken tikka masala, salad, gobi aloo, dahl lentils, garlic naan, Indian iced tea, and rice pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The naan was especially memorable--fresh, warm, and perfectly cooked. My friend loved the Frankie, which was like an Indian burrito packed with flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we all had a great time. Street parking is available, and there's also a 90-minute lot nearby. The interior has a trendy vibe, complete with a beautiful mural that adds to the experience.

I want to update my review, since my first one was 8 years ago. I still frequent this restaurant at least once a week! I love their newly added menu: the pastas, panned tikka, chicken wings to name a few. The restaurant is always so clean and staff friendly. You can tell that they have many regulars that come by - who they always recognize as well. Service is always which too! So glad we have a friendly, warm, friendly run Indian restaurant in Glendale.

Some of the best Indian food we've ever had! Garlic naan was made so well. We ordered the fish tikki masala and Vegetarian Tali. Vegetarian Tali came with nirvana tofu and it had so much flavor. Our waitress was very young, polite, and professional. We ate at one of the lower tables. Great experience but it was uncomfortable for me. My legs were too long and I'm only 5 ft 6. The ambiance is quieter with background music. Great place for connection and socializing with your company. Lots of seating available at this location. 100% recommend. Fish Tikki Masala: 5/5 Garlic Naan Bread: 5/5 Vegetarian Tali: 4.5/5

EXCELLENT INDIAN FOOD IN GLENDALE ================================= I have been to All India Cafe's newer restaurant in Glendale many times and I can't believe I forgot to write a review. My husband is a regular at their restaurant on Fair Oaks in Pasadena and he says he can tell a difference between the chicken tikka masala. I really can't. We are hooked on the chicken tikka masala so we always order the lunch special. See my photos. We especially love that salad dressing. We ordered the Pani puri shots and they were great. I also ordered a Maharaja Fashion to drink and that was delicious. They add a little saffron and that was a nice addition.

My bestie and I met here for lunch during our work break. I bookmarked the Pasadena location a while back after it showed up in my feed a few times, and later realized they had a second location here in Glendale, right off of Brand - easier for my bestie to get to. After being seated, we were handed a traditional menu as well as a shorter menu of fusion/street food options. We opted to order from the second menu, sharing a plate of Vada Pav sliders and the Gulabi Farfalle. The vegetarian sliders were small spicy potato patties in buns, a twist on a popular Indian street food. The gulabi farfalle was a creamy tomato pasta with a hint of Indian spices. Both dishes were pretty good, making All India Cafe a solid choice for Indian/ fusion food. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

    Raw chicken Tikka masala

OH HELL NO!!! RAW CHICKEN IN THE CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA. They served me chicken Tikka masala for the lunch special and after a few bites I noticed the chicken was rubbery, so I asked for a few extra chicken pieces on the side. They served me MORE raw chicken. See images attached. The owner with turban was super rude When I pointed it out, the owner dismissed the concern and removed my plate mid-meal, He even grabbed those chicken pieces with his hands and brushed over the pink uncooked spot saying it was cooked. The hispanic woman server was sweet. Be aware! This place poses a safety concern

I had an appointment in Glendale and, like any reasonable Angeleno, decided I'd rather kill time with food than sit parked on the 5 pretending it's a parking lot. Yelp told me I was dangerously close to All India Café, which had been sitting on my "to-try" list, so in I went. The Chicken Tikka Kebab came out sizzling and fragrant--juicy boneless pieces that hit all the right notes of cilantro, ginger, and garlic. But the real MVP? The green sauce on the side. Bright, herby, tangy--it was so good I considered asking for a to-go tub and calling it dinner. The little pickled veggies were a fun bonus too. The Peshwari Naan was sweet and nutty, almost dessert-like, though it came with a jam that didn't really do it for me. Still, naan on its own? Yum. I also ordered the Gajar Al Hawa dessert--warm, carrot-based, and surprisingly comforting. Unique flavor, but I was into it. For drinks, I tried the Maharaja's Fashion (their Indian Old Fashioned with saffron bitters). Couldn't really taste the saffron, but the bourbon and orange combo still worked. Service was warm and attentive without hovering, and since I rolled in early evening, I pretty much had the place to myself. Definitely worth the Glendale detour, and I'd happily come back to work through more of their menu.

Tried out this place recently. It's such a great spot. The ambiance is spot on. The food was delicious. Especially the Chicken Tikka Masala! The service was also incredible. The Garlic naan is the best.

Delicious Indian food. Fun cocktails with an Indian twist. Fun ambience with options to sit on the floor however regular chairs were available. We went on a Friday night and were able to be seated right away with no reservations.

Not sure if My Vegan - Eagle Rock is affiliated with any of it's fellow former relative (in name) locations like the former My Vegan Studio (in Studio City) or once My Vegan Gold (in Silverlake) but it definitely is for twining, no doubts needed with it's sib in Pasadena. If you don't know, My Vegan - ER is a thriving gem on Colorado Blvd, not to far from that groovy Trader Joe's and other local favorites. It's got a cool cornerside entrance off Argus Drive giving it a residential meets city blend in a trendy plaza parking lot. The dishes are 10/10 for dine in, but apparently just as amazing for takeout! My special someone and I take turns making dinner, but he was very much tired from a long work day so we said hey let's order out and we settled on My Vegan and we're really glad we did. Their Pad Thai is an instant and flavorful favorite of my guys and while many of their appetizers, such as the Impossible Fries, Fried Tofu, Vegetable Dumplings and Soy Chicken Drumstick (w/ Buffallo or BBQ please) to name a few also called out to me... I settled on their epic Supreme Fried Rice A delicious blend of fried brown rice, soy shrimp, soy chicken, soy beef, tofu, onions, peas, scallions, garlic, tomatoes and carrots. All the portions here are big - so much so we both had leftovers for lunch the next day (which hold up great). Between the soups, salads, noodle dishes, rice plates, sides, burgers, breakfast items, house specialities, and a la carte it can be hard to settle on a dish or two, but you can't go wrong with just about anything. Do try the Yellow Noodle Curry, Angry Pork and Tom Kah for sure. Good beverages as well. Some limited but thoughtful dessert options, spacious seating and modern layout. The Art of the Singular Obsession: Why Zhengyalov Hatz is Glendale's Most Focused Masterpiece…read more------- There's a specific kind of anxiety that comes with opening a menu that reads like a telephone book. When a kitchen tries to make pizza, sushi, and a passable club sandwich all at once, they usually fail at all three. Give me a specialist. Give me someone who wakes up every morning, stares at a single dish, and spends their entire life chasing perfection. Tucked away at 318 E Broadway in Glendale, Zhengyalov Hatz is exactly that kind of sanctuary. They don't have a menu so much as a mission statement. They make one thing. One single, spectacular, fiercely guarded Armenian culinary tradition. And they do it so perfectly that the Michelin Guide had no choice but to take notice. // The Vibe and the Craft // You walk in, and the air hits you immediately--the unmistakable, primal scent of hot griddles and a massive volume of fresh herbs. The clean-lined, minimalist space is centered entirely around a simple walk-up counter, but don't let the efficiency fool you; the greeting you receive the second you step up is instantly warm and genuine. There are no secrets here. You watch as seasoned hands work the dough, rolling out delicate, paper-thin sheets, burying them under an impossibly large mountain of finely chopped greenery, and folding them into tight parcels on the hot griddles. It's a beautiful, well-oiled operation where a steady stream of locals are constantly in and out, clutching take-out boxes filled with their greenly miracles. // The Main Event: The Namesake // The dish is the Zhengyalov Hatz, and when it arrives hot off the griddle, blistered, slightly charred in places, and absolutely steaming, it is a revelation. You bite through that crisp, yielding dough into a dense, vibrant green lining of over a dozen different varietals--spinach, scallions, sorrel, beet leaves, and herbs you probably couldn't name if you tried. It shouldn't be this complex, but it is. It hits every corner of the palate: it's sharp, it's sour, it's earthy, and deeply, viscerally satisfying. Even if you're a devout carnivore, this plant-forward flatbread demands your absolute respect. It's a complete meal wrapped in a charred, unleavened embrace. In fact, the last time I walked through those doors, I had to buy two orders just for myself. It really is that good. (Pro tip: have them slide a pat of butter in there to melt down into the hot greens. Don't overthink it, just do it.) // The Supporting Cast // Because they only make one main dish, deciding what to order takes about three seconds. To wash it down, you get the Okroshka--a cold, tangy yogurt drink punched up with dill and cucumber. It serves as the perfect, refreshing counter-hook to the warm, earthy flatbread. To finish, grab a square of their Paxlava (baklava). It's built with flaky phyllo and ground nuts, offering just a light crust and a sweetness that doesn't overpower the palate. // The Verdict // In a culinary landscape obsessed with "more"--more options, more fusion, more noise--Zhengyalov Hatz is a masterclass in "less." They have bet their entire existence on the power of a single, flawless creation, and they absolutely nail it. It's authentic, it's unpretentious, and it is a mandatory stop. Go early before they sell out, eat it hot, and remember what it tastes like when people actually give a damn about their heritage.
