I've had Steve help me with various projects throughout the years, flat screen TV installs, toilet replacements, paint and drywall and replacing kitchen garbage disposals. He's always been reliable, on-time, professional and his quality of work excellent. He's also available for follow up questions and helped me out with providing answers when I needed them. I highly recommend him and am grateful for his quality work and professionalism. read more

It's amazing how deferred maintenance builds up? All our exterior lighting needed replaced, all toilets needed new hardware... the list goes on. We needed an intervention and headed to Yelp for reviews. Once again, we weren't let down. Began with an email which was quickly responded too. Came to review work/interview for job and it went great. Showed up on time, worked efficiently, and gosh what a great job?! His attention to detail was extraordinary and we look forward to having him back to accomplish more. Don't hesitate, his skill set is vast! read more

Steve did an outstanding job with assisting us with hanging our art work in our Irvine office. I reached out to Steve via email and he was very responsive for starters. We needed our art installed immediately and Steve came to our rescue! He was not only very professional, but very knowledgeable with how or where we should hang our art pieces. We appreciated his advice and welcomed his request to move or correct previous art pieces that were hanging up. We highly recommend Steve for any and everything handyman or art installation related! Thank you again for helping us out and we look forward to future work with you! read more

I had an incredible experience working with Steve and my to-do list. From start to finish, he was professional, efficient, smart and highly-skilled. He worked quickly without cutting corners, always taking the time to show me each step of the process before moving forward. I really appreciated how much he cared about getting things exactly right -- not just technically, but in a way that matched what I wanted. He was smart, clean, and respectful of my home, leaving everything spotless when the job was done (took shoes off on carpet, washed hands). It's rare to find someone who combines quality workmanship with great communication and genuine care for the customer. His range of skills and the pride he takes in his work are beyond impressive. I also hired Steve to come to my daughter's house to fix a myriad of items from hanging floating shelves to fixing the leaking water pump under the kitchen sink, fixing the sliding back door, fixing the broken gate latch, installing door stoppers. He also came up with a smart solution for us as to how to rehang the curtains to make more wall space and create more light. He cared about what I cared about. And, he went to Home Depot for me and got the parts we needed as we were on a tight timeline. He has earned my trust 100 percent. I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work. read more

I had a job that needed 1, 2, 3 do this do that and it's done. Pretty simple if you let it, you had to do the right steps to keep it simple. I told Steve exactly what to do, the precise steps, all I needed was someone who could do what they were told and do the job right, like a professional He did the exact opposite at every juncture, and left me with more things to fix than were fixed in the process. He was completely rude and inconsiderate to me in the process, as well, I have significant health problems that have been worse lately and the whole process put me through considerable stress, as well. Just a nightmare He wrote on my white van wall in black sharpie. I told him exactly the steps to clamp a steel reinforcement bar straight, drill holes, and end up with a straight wall. I now have a crooked wall because he needed to be rebellious and do it a different way that did not work. I have a bracket stuck behind a wall, useless, that i'll have to angle grind an Allen wrench to a specific length just to be able to screw it out, it's so jammed in there from his unnecessary and unprofessional modifications To kick it all off, the side holes to reinforce the wall, the most important part of the job, he didn't even do. I told him to drill those holes and he refused. So he literally didn't even do any aspect of the job. And he charged $350, leaving the wall in the exact state where it had collapsed before and claiming it was fixed, as if I was stupid enough to just buy that, playing on "I'm the contractor I know better and a I can just play with people's heads with that tact" If you need a factory instruction based bracket or TV install or anything else elementary, he could probably to it for ten times the cost than it's worth, and if you got the extra cash to waste, who cares, right? Anything more than that's not even in his range so don't waste your time read more

All In 1 Handyman Steve arrived with everything needed to help hang the patio lighting for my event. He installed over 450 feet of cafe lights. I will definitely use him again! read more

Tried getting a hold of this guy twice in two different occassions, looking at the 5 stars I was stoked before the call. To my surprise, I got 0 call back from this guy not once...twice! This is where I get confused, I guess he gets his 5 stars when he actually does the work but when he doesn't "feel" like it...good luck getting any service. Perhaps he's out of town, perhaps he's got other jobs going but regardless you should always call your customers back or at minimum change your voicemail to tell people that you're not available and then when you'll be available again. read more

Steve was efficient and clean and was able to fix everything on our laundry list of items from picture hanging, to replacing our shower head, to replacing a light switch. I will be hiring him again in the future! read more

Great friendly attitude. That's as or more important for me than the work itself. Answered all questions, and had a willing-to-help attitude as well. Installed door-closers, fixed wooden gate and helped move some items. Thanks so much. Would definitely reach out again! read more

This review could be written EXACTLY the same as the one from "Peter C." I called Steve's # and was directed to use text (send info about the job and photos). Steve and I exchanged text messages regarding installation of a washer and dryer unit. He quoted a price of $95 based on photo and info that I sent. I requested to book the next available service/install appointment and then he suddenly went MIA. No response. I sent a "?" to see if maybe he got distracted by work. Nothing. Hired someone else. read more

Steve fixed a glass panel which had fallen out of it's frame on a wall/fence outside. He was on time, pleasant and completed the job within the estimated time frame. I would recommend his services without any reservation. read more

I used Steve to hang some TV's on the wall, hang a few ceiling fans and install a wine cooler for me in my new home. After hanging 1 TV on the wall, he left the power cord visibly running down the wall. My wife had to ask him to hide it in the wall. When installing the wine cooler, I told him what height to leave above the wine cooler for a door but he disregarded me and just did what he wanted. Seemed like he just wanted to jam it in there so that he could collect his money and go home. It was not level, not the right height and he refused to work with me to install it correctly. I had to step in to read the directions and measure everything. Then when I asked him to work with me and verify the measurements were correct... he said with a very sarcastic attitude.... "just tell me what you want me to do" and refused to measure anything! I couldn't believe it!! I'm paying this guy to do poor work and he's giving me an attitude? Keep in mind that I'm a very nice and considerate person. I treated Steve with respect and professionalism. I offered to buy him breakfast, feed him lunch and never received a thank you. He really had a negative attitude from the beginning. The only thing Steve had going for him was that he was timely in getting back to me on providing a quote. He wanted to come back the next day to perform some more work but I told him I was not happy with his work and would not be using him going forward. His response was "I'm sorry to hear that". When installing the ceiling fans, he made the decision to not connect them to the light switch on the wall. He advised that we have to use the remote control to work the fan which I was not happy with. In addition, one of the lights doesn't work right and I didn't catch it before he left. It only lights up about 20%. I have another handyman coming back to fix the things that Steve did poorly. I hired Steve based upon his Yelp reviews. I would be cautious when hiring him. read more

Steve showed up on time and provided excellent service, I will be sending him a list of projects for additional work.

Steve was on time, efficient, and precise in the work he did for me. He was able to hang up my paintings, pictures, mirrors, and TV - all the things I needed to make my new apartment look like a "home." He hung over 15 items in just a little over an hour! Worth every penny, because it makes a difference when things are done with excellence in mind. read more

Steve is great. Two of my drawer fronts fell off and the company that made them stopped making the connectors years ago and ran out of inventory for parts. So they recommended replacing the whole drawer. Steve was able to find another company's connector that fit and fixed my drawers and he did it quickly, so it was very reasonably priced. He also replaced a bathroom sink fixture for me. He did it so fast that I was barely able to make a cup of coffee before he was done. I will hire him for any and all handyman work I have. read more

I must have texted, called and emailed 5 other handymen and Steve was the only one that responded right away. Our sliding patio door had issues with the wheels and kept on getting jammed. Steve messaged me back within an hour of the request and the next day he was out here fixing our door. It was scorching hot outside and felt bad cause Steve was sweating like crazy, but didn't complain and took his time. He even took care of our patio screen door too. Steve's price was very reasonable and would definitely use him again. Thanks Steve! read more

This appears to be the wrong phone number for this listing. I called twice today and both times someone picked up and, without saying anything, hung up. Or I suppose they don't want my business, but that would seem odd for a business to not want business, so I assumed it's the wrong number. I dialed 949-444-3312 read more

Steve is dishonest, plain and simple. I asked him for quote on a few repairs in my home which included an exterior hole patch, 4 faucets installations, tiny shower caulking, and a repaint of 1 bathroom wall, not the whole bathroom just one small wall. I sent pictures, measurements and exact details & he quoted me a price. I ended up eliminating a big exterior job so the quote came down a couple of hundred bucks. When he arrived at my home I asked him again for the price before he started, same quote. He also stated he couldn't put in the faucets I bought so I ran to home depot & bought 4 more. After he finished caulking and painting he charged me the full Price of the job saying it now was going to cost me another $550 for the faucet installations. He didn't even thoroughly finish the paint job & left a railing he was suppose to remove on the painted wall. I guess I misunderstood the fact that he was going to upcharge when he felt like it. His apologies doesn't cover the fact that he lied twice. He took advantage of the fact that I was a women & by myself at the time. Be cautious when dealing with him. read more

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! Steve is great! I hired Steve to put a roof over my patio and he took every effort to help me to save as much money as possible without taking any kinds of shortcuts. He also finished a full day ahead of schedule which was a delight! He has lots of experience in general construction and can probably handle just about anything. Should also note that Steve's communication, work ethic, and punctuality are EXCELLENT! He is efficient, neat, stays focused and shows up on time, every time. He has all his own gear in a big truck and he really goes above and beyond for you. Cleaned up after himself which is amazing as you know most workers do not do the best cleanup after themselves so it was a pleasure. He's a skilled guy with integrity. I was very very impressed with the work he did and am a BIG fan now. Steve's rates are very reasonable and would definitely recommend him for anything you need done in, around, or outside the house. I am personally looking forward to working with him again. read more

We highly recommend Steve Bowman. He is efficiently multi-skilled, professional, steady and courteous - truly an "all-in-1-service." We hired him for a full-day job at our Santiago Canyon home. Steve hung large artwork pieces over our steep stairwell, shaved off a number of interior doors & reinstalled them. He installed door finger-holds, coat racks, curtain rods & towel bars. He re-routed water heater gas line and efficiently swapped out a single-speed ceiling fan control with a three-speed & light control (customer-supplied). He easily resolved slow-toilet-tank refill issue, a stuck slider-door screen, and reversed a refrigerator door. His well-maintained truck seemed to contain about everything: from misc. small parts to nail gun compressor that re-adhered our loose wood-floor threshold, etc. We are quite pleased and would gladly use his services again. read more

Was tired of nagging our previous handyman/contractor to come back to the house to do some odds and ends, so I turned to Yelp to find a local handyman. Found Steve and he answered right away and told me what he charged during the call, which was great because I hate being surprised with unexpected bills. He put up a new chandelier, a couple curtain rods, misc. broken fixtures around the house, and put up our family and wedding photos. He did a marvelous job with the pictures. I plan on calling on him from now on when we have accrued another list of things to be done. We also have a couple rental properties that I want to fix up the next time we are between tenants and I wouldn't hesitate to call Steve. read more

We found Steve through Yelp....the 5 star ratings are REAL!...in every project he has done for us Steve is fast, professional, meticulous, efficient, and pleasant to have around. Wow, exceeded my expectations! I called Steve, for the first time per all the review on Yelp, and he picked up the phone! Then I am a bit worried that my jobs are too small, or even weird. Ya, I will get to that. So Steve said he can come over the same day and look at the work. And he showed on time and very professional. I needed someone who could look at a few things, and not only just fix them, but asses how to fix them. 1. The bed frame broke. Insert joke here. But it came crashing to the ground and could have killed the cats, so it was no joke. Steve said that the steel bla bla was snapped and he has a guy who soldered unique stuff like this back together. I think he is probably a car enthusiast, like Steve, cus they know what they're doing regarding all things mechanical. Steve tells me, get this, he will get this, done in one day! I am so used to handymen taking weeks, or more likely, not showing back up with the parts, that I actually asked him to repeat what he just said. Then Steve said he doesn't let things pile up, chop chop, gets them done and moves on. 2. Baseboards needed to be pulled up and new ones installed. Again, next day, done! Perfect work. 3. Ok, so I feed this alley cat, long story short... needed a solution for the cat to be able to enter the garage, without allowing any alley people to enter the garage. Steve came up with an ingenious solution, and it works beautifully. Also, Steve came up ways to secure our bikes in the garage, etc. 4. A rather odd sliver of my patio door was missing. Steve looks at it and says termites. He was right. This guy knows his stuff. Any other handyman would have just slapped some putty up. And then I would not have known... Reliable, trustworthy, very technically inclined AND very good at what he does. And for a very fair price! I am calling him again as soon as I get these termites sorted out! I am thankful I found someone in the area who is so fast, honest and proficient at light and heavy house repair! read more

You can tell Steve is a busy guy! Was great to get an estimate from him for some drywall repair via text. Steve was on time, friendly and did a great job. He didn't rush but made sure everything looked good, best was he cleaned up after his work. Will call him again for my house repairs. read more

We have hired Steve several times over the last year to do painting inside and outside of our house, and also to fix a couple of broken cabinet hinges, repair an outdoor gate, hang some items in our garage, and to install an outdoor timer for our yard lights. We also hired him to help us finish a large outdoor patio cover we built ourselves. His work is excellent, he is very meticulous and takes a great deal of pride in his work. The patio cover project needed some creative solutions with finishing trim pieces, and Steve had some great ideas that worked out very well. I have found him to be very respectful of my home, always being careful to protect the floors, and always cleaning up after the job. read more

I have retained Steve of All-in-One Handyman on 2 separate occasions. Steve is communicative, professional, courteous, clean, and hard-working. He arrived at my home on the appointed day and was right on time. He installed 30 safety spring latches in a series of cabinet doors/wooden drawers in my home; and repaired 2 doors (indoor and outdoor). He is an experienced handyman who provides all of his own tools, and will purchase special supplies and hardware fixtures, as needed to get the job *done right* for his customer. I will continue to contact Steve in the future whenever I need a professional handyman! First-class service and reasonable fees! read more

We had Steve come over today to do some odd jobs we had around the house . He installed floating wall shelves, a broom wall organizer and even an under the cabinet paper towel holder. No job was too small for him which was great because we are not handy people. He was knowledgeable, professional and his rates were reasonable. He even gave us some different ideas of how to install the shelving which turned out awesome. If you need someone to help with jobs around the house...Steve is the guy. read more

Steve was great - he was able to come the same week I called and was quick to respond. We worked quickly as well - put together a crib, fixed a door hinge and our gate latch in about an hour and fifteen minutes - three things my husband has been too tired to do with our 9-week old son now on the scene. He pro-rated his rate as well, which was appreciated. HIghly recommended! read more

Steve is always very helpful. He knows what he's doing, he was easy to contact and schedule.

Have you ever wished you never started a Do-It-Yourself project? Well, YouTube videos made me believe I was a qualified handyman. Unfortunately I learned the lesson the hard way... This past weekend I decided to re-caulk the bathtub. No matter what I did I couldn't get the old caulk to come off completely. A simple 4-hour project turned into a nightmare since the wife wouldn't stop making fun of me. My man pride was on the brink of collapse. Thankfully, here comes the cavalry --- Steve was the only handyman that was able to help. Not only did he provide prompt response (exactly 1.5 hours after I left him a message on Sunday), he quickly scheduled a time to come in on Wednesday to clean up my mess and get the job done right. The price was also very decent. From now on I am just gonna call Steve to help me fix things around the house so I can claim the credit by telling my wife I did it. read more

I contacted Steve for various tasks around the house. He answered my call and arranged a time to come by and estimate the work effort. After we agreed on the work that needs to be done he was always on time, very respectful of our house, and worked independently and quietly (which was great, since I was working from home). He painted cables on the exterior of our house, refaced our bathroom cabinets with materials I ordered, touched up paint on our windows, and some other small tasks. We were very happy with his work and call him again for any other small projects around the house. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him and will refer him to my friends. read more
