All Fired Up was such a fun experience. It gave me a chance to get creative in a cozy, welcoming space. I really liked how many tools and materials were available to work with, which made the whole process feel easy and inspiring. The instructions were clear and helpful, so I felt confident even as a beginner. My piece came out beautiful after being glazed and I was so happy with the result. This was a great value for a fun little activity and I'm already looking forward to coming back. read more

A fun thing to do with my grandkids- makes nice gifts- a bit pricey but unique gifts from kids to mom and dad

I went here for a night out with my friend. It was so refreshing to get away from the usual bar or restaurant for a night out. We brought a bottle of wine and painted instead! The space was clean and clean and surprisingly quiet. There are snacks like bags of smart pop or fruit snacks available for purchase. The staff were so nice and friendly. We had a little snafu at one point, and the staff took care of it right away. My one word of advice is to check the closing time! If you're a perfectionist like we are, it will definitely take more than an hour to paint your piece!! read more

We went to this place for a birthday party. We booked a private room and it was great. The staff was great and very accommodating. We were able to bring in 10 pizzas from a local pizza spot and everything was great. It took a few weeks to pick up the final product and everyone liked them a lot. read more

I've been coming to All Fired Up since I was a kid, I even had a few of my childhood birthday parties there. Now, I take my husband and daughter her. All Fired Up has something to paint for everyone. They have tons of great glaze colors and all kinds of painting tools - plus a staff full of artists willing and ready to help. They also run some pretty cool events, everything from special glass fusing to story times (best deals ever!) to painting with Santa. If you haven't been yet, it's totally worth checking out! read more

I was looking for a paint your pottery place to take my kids to. There are 2 in the area, and after reading reviews I choose this one. So glad I did. First there is no painting fee. You pay whatever the price of the pottery you choose. Huge plus. We came at 430pm on the dot and never felt rushed. The lady who helped us, (Kimmy???) was very patient with us. I recommend looking on the website for discounts and special promotions. My kids already want to go back. We are definitely coming back. read more

All Fired Up - The aftermath of a fun day - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Collingswood, New Jersey

My granddaughter had a ball for her birthday celebrating at All Fired Up! All the girls enjoyed making their own creative pottery pieces.

I've come here pretty regularly with my mom over the years. We love it! It's a large studio that gets a lot of light on sunny days which is excellent for painting. When you get there you'll notice that the pieces are quite pricey but that's because there's no sitting or paint fee so it's all built into the price of the pottery. Which is great because you know exactly how much you'll be paying right at the start. There's no time limit either, my mom and I like to choose I intricate designs and stay there most of the day. You can bring in snacks and drinks, so you really could be there all day. They have a great selection of paints, stamps and other accessories. Although the brushes are quite beat up, which is to be expected. I have brought my own before. The pieces usually take about a week to be fired, they'll only email you if something goes wrong (this has never happened to me so no worries) so don't wait around for contact just head in on the day they tell you. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone! read more

My friends and I went to all fired up and had a great time. It was nice that the price you see is the price you pay and they were very clear about that. Overall, the place was very clean with lots of options to choose from especially with the paint. We were there for about 4 hours and there was no sitting fee. My only issue was that all of us had coupons and were planning on paying separately. Unbeknownst to us, they grouped us as one transaction and we were unable to reverse that as our one friend who had paid first left early. Overall we had a great time but wish we had known before hand. read more

We had a great time at All Fired Up yesterday. We did not know that reservations were required or encouraged (if this information is on the website, it's not obvious enough), but luckily they were able to accomodate my husband and I. That is, after the woman behind the counter looked at us like we had 3 heads. Regardless, we picked out our pieces and got t work. This place has a huge selection of pieces to choose from, including little figurines, decorative pieces, dishes, cups/mugs, bowls, and kitchen/counter top accessories, in a wide range of prices. There were definitely a few things there that I would like to go back and paint for my home. After picking out our pieces, we were given a run though of what to do, and we got to work. We found the experience very relaxing. Although the place was packed, it was rather quiet, as everyone concentrated on their pieces. I will definitely be back to paint more! read more

All Fired Up is such a fun activity for a family, date night, or just by yourself! As true to the other reviews, All Fired Up got rid of their sitting fee which means now you only have to pay for the price of your pottery. This is great because if you don't finish a piece you can always come back and still just pay the initial price of the pottery. When you walk in, there are SO many pieces to choose from ranging in prices and skill level. I went with a dog bowl, which wasn't too complicated. I also liked that there were examples throughout the store to give you some inspiration. The employees will explain how the paint works, and the key is to paint a lot of layers! The paint area was great, but the stamp area could definitely use some updates. There was a complete lack of organization of the stamps and a lot of the stamps were very outdated. It was hard to find matching letters, and then once I finally decided on a stamp it turned out pretty bad so I ended up painting right over it. Other than that, there were a large selection of brushes and paint trays. The pottery takes about a week to get back, which is a pretty quick turnaround. Overall, I am happy with my piece and this is definitely a fun activity. read more

I have gone to All Fired Up a handful of times over the past few years. The staff there is always so friendly and helpful. Even though they see a ton of people each and everyday, there are 2 girls in particular (I'm sorry their names are escaping me) who remember who I am. We have a paint your own pottery place closer to home but the atmosphere and staff keep us coming back to Collingswood. Every experience I've ever had there has been better then the last. read more

This place is great and there are Living Social deals often ($15 for $30 worth of merchandise, which they allow you to spend like a gift card). For those who haven't been here before, you are given a short tutorial on the different paints and finishes and how to achiever different looks on your pottery/plate/whatever you choose. You get to choose your paint brushes, as many paint colors and trays as you would like, different tools/pens, etc. to make your creation. Their selection of items to paint is really vast, and I have seen many different types of people here, from kids' parties to girls' night out to everything in-between. All in all a great time. My favorite part is that the workers seem to actually enjoy working there. Imagine that. :) read more

I have visited AFU several times to paint pottery with my children and visitors. It is a very comfortable environment with a super friendly staff. AFU goes above and beyond in the activities department. Painting pottery is a great way to relieve stress. You can bring in a snack and drink, too. read more

Stopped in this place on a whim and am so glad I did. We had a great time painting our projects and the staff were very accommodating for us first timers. I will definitely go back to create another masterpiece and suggest that everyone do the same. Also, a nice little added bonus was the soundtrack playing in the background. It was a nice, relaxing alternative mix that helped inspire me. Kudos to the DJ. I posted a pic of my work of art for all to enjoy. It will be my new cigar ashtray. Cheers! read more

All Fired Up - I have been called the Andy Warhol of my generation. - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Collingswood, New Jersey

Unhappy and unfriendly staff. Worker repeatedly walked by my painting table, scuffing her sandals and sighing, huffing like she was annoyed. Very pricey too. Will look for another pottery painting place. read more

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Absolutely love this place! One of my favorite things to do on a Friday night! Tons of cool ceramics to choose from and no sitting fees! You can bring your own food and drinks and make a night of it! I've seen people have bachelorette and birthday parties there! I always love the finished product and it always looks professionally done! I've never had anything broken or ruined prior to the heating process! A little pricy but 100% worth it! Periodically they have Groupon deals which are great to stock up on! Can't give this place enough praise- absolutely love it! read more

I had a great time there the other day for a birthday party. They're food and byob friendly and the place was packed. I would have liked a little more time with instruction but I figured it out okay on my own. Note: You pay at the end and you can use level up! Bisque is on the pricey side. The cheapest thing I saw was $9 for a tiny little condiment dish. I picked a soup bowl for $18. There's also a sitting fee. Just be prepared to spend money when you come. Pieces generally are finished being fired and glazed 1-2 weeks after you finish painting. read more

My son and I went to the Sensory Sunday event that they have monthly for people with special needs. It was wonderful to have the space, time and attention. Nina and Des were amazing, sweet and helpful. We will definitely come in again to make more art. I was happy that my son enjoyed himself and could just be himself, total non judgement zone. Highly recommend!! read more

This place is so fun! When you walk in, they talk you through the process of everything and are very thorough. Many choices of pottery pieces to choose from. New items added often too. I've been there twice now and can't wait to go back. You get to be so creative and no one judges your work or makes you feel like you're not artsy enough. You can bring in some drinks/wine to help the creative juices flow. It's VERY family friendly and they are always having neat events going on and coupon deals. Diva night was my first time there and it was amazing. They had a food spread and a masseuse who was amazing ($1 a minute and totally worth it). It's a great place for you to bring your kids so they can be as creative as they want. It takes a week for your pieces to be ready for pick up. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to do something new. Great idea for gifts too! read more

This is a really nice place to come with friends, and seems kid friendly as well. The pieces can be pricey, but it makes for a good and relaxing time. They encourage you to bring food and byob if you want to. Some colors you see displayed on the wall are not available to grab, so you just have to ask and they'll give it to you along with special pens to write on the ceramic. They make you feel at home, and the lady wouldn't let my friend and I clean up our space. She insisted we leave everything and she cleared it all up for us, which I thought was super nice and wasn't expecting that kind of treatment. There's usually an $8 sitting fee, unless there's a special going on a certain day of the month. You can check out the calendar on their website, and there's also plenty other events like diva night, glass fusing, activities for kids...I was surprised to see all of this and it makes me want to come back again soon. Bring your spirit and creativity and have fun. read more

Such a fun way to relax. You go in and pick from a big selection of pottery. They have paints and brushes, nothing left to bring. You can however bring food and drinks they have diva nights which are very fun, usually themed. Perfect ladies night out. Make sure to get the punch card and on your 6th punch you have a free sitting fee. read more

All Fired Up - Getting started! - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Collingswood, New Jersey

We love All Fired Up. It is a fun crafty activity for young and old. We made a wonderful handpainted flower pot for our grandmother's 90th birthday. The staff is very helpful and there are so many items to paint. I suggest calling ahead to reserve a table especially on a weekend because they do lots of birthday parties. I also do not recommend this place for small fidgetty children. They welcome you to bring yourself a snack and drink. The location in Collingswood is awesome, plan to make the day of it. Go out to eat before or after, there are so many great places to choose from. The cost can add up though. There is a sitting fee every time and then the cost of your item. Check on their website for coupons and special discount days. read more

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience here. I came here on a date. They have a broad selection of items to paint, and tons of colors to choose from! They offer different programs for adults and kids, and usually you can find a coupon floating around on the internet to make your experience a tad cheaper. GREAT FOR KIDS!!! I would definitely recommend it! read more

First date fun! My date came across this place via a LivingSocial deal and we thought it would be a fun activity date. So this is a pick-out-a-piece-place-and-paint it. Thought at first it might have been a pottery type place. They have a large selection of ceramic pieces to pick from...everything from plates and vases to mugs and picture frames. The prices are a bit steep (ex: ceramic mug was $15) and there is an $8 sitting fee. Soooo you are seated at a table, given instructions (were paint is etc.) and then you're left to your own devices! When you're finished you leave everything where it is! The patr I was not aware of was that you have to LEAVE your newly created piece so that it can be glazed then baked. Ours won't be ready until the 20th (10 days from now). So may not be the best FIRST date place in case it doesn't work out but it's def funand would go again. read more

This was definitely a good time and I highly suggest going with a friend or two who have done this before and know the ins and outs. My friend made reservations for our small group and, when we arrived, a table was set up for us. It was a bit overwhelming trying to choose a piece to paint (and then trying to decide on colors and design ideas). I won't lie -- the prices were a little steeper than I anticipated, plus there is a sitting fee. All of the brushes, stencils, sponges and paints are set up in one section. There are books with design ideas, too. The service was ok. They come around and write up a form with your name and what you're painting, which they use to check you out when you pay. Tip: if you plan on going more than a few times, get the yellow card (after five paid sitting fees, you get one free sitting fee). read more

Really neat place! I painted a coffee mug for myself. The only limit here is your own creativity. Kinda pricey, but worth it in the long run, since you can truly customize great gifts. I plan on painting an Italian pasta bowl for my grandma for a Christmas gift this year - I think she'll love it! read more

I have come here several times and each time has been a great experience. The first time I had a groupon which saved quite a bit of money. I came in with my fiance and we painted something together. We were running a little behind and the staff even let us stay with them 30 minutes past closing! This was nice and much appreciated. The next time I came there I took my time and painted a frame for a gift. I sat outside in the pretty weather until it started to rain and then they found a spot for me inside to paint. I loved the freedom of picking the colors myself and pouring them myself. There were so many different types of projects to choose from too! Great experience each time, easy pick up when they were done. A 5 star experience for sure! read more

all fired up is moving to collingswood! love it. better-than-typical pottery painting with a friendly, helpful staff. great for all ages and reasonably priced. and, differently from some places, they will let you work on pieces in stages for as long as you need... don't worry about rushing through a piece in one sitting. i love that feature. i've heard that their classes are good as well, i believe they do beads and mosaic etc. read more

i've been to this establishment twice. once with a group of women (we brought our own wine & cheese which is a great way to spend the afternoon with family) and the second time with my children (we packed lunch and juices). both times i really enjoyed picking out the pieces to paint and colors, brushes, stencils, etc... the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. i would def like to be a regular... ...however... it is just my opinion that the place is over staffed with not enough customer service. both times i went there were at least 3 or 4 women/girls behind the counter. first time our group sat for 30 minutes (this being our first time there & having had a reservation) before getting a first timers tutorial/tour, only because i got up and asked for help. the second time was not as bad, but i as i was paying for my pieces i observed a frequent flyer type punch card and asked about it. the lady behind the counter gave me one...sweet! i would've liked a hole punch for the first visit too...i would think they'd be giving them away to encourage return. great concept. service...ehh :-/ read more

This place is wonderful. They have a vast selection of pottery for me to paint. I have to call ahead to make a reservation. It's BYO. They have tons if paint for me to use as much of as I want. They even have premade paints that will glaze a certain way to have bursts of color in it. Some of the paints are toxic so after having the pieces fired, you cannot eat from them. The reason I keep two stars is because you can walk out spending a LOT of money. I spent over $100 when I was there for two people. There is an $8 sitting fee per person (adult) even after you have purchased the pottery. read more

Just tried this place for the first time with my mom - can I say FUN, FUN, FUN!!! The ladies at the counter are super nice and they help you create and decorate (even though I'm the most non-artistic person every!). They have a ton of specials and fun events, from girls night, to kids nights, to discount disco nights (am I making stuff up?). LOL The place is fun, relaxing, BYOB, and you will have a great time. P.s. This is my new go-to place for gift making. :) read more

We went for sensory friendly Sunday. They opened a little early for people on the spectrum. When we walked in my 5 year old wasn't interested at first and wanted to walk around. The young lady, Nina, saw the struggle his grandmother and I were having and began showing my son clay letters. She was God sent. He had such a great experience with the shaving cream technician she showed us and was extremely patient. She helped him write a letter to Santa and placed it in a mailbox they had there. She also let him play with an already made minion figure. I was so surprised how laid back the employees were and incredibly kind they were to the customers. If I could give a million star review, I would. Bravo All Fired Up. What a great experience read more

Huge selection of pieces to paint, including seasonal items. Lots of space, private tables. They do birthday parties and have lots of special events/discounts going on (check their website for a schedule). Great way to spend an afternoon with or without kids. read more

Super fun....and bring your own wine?!? Fantastic! My girl loves it here and makes me some cool skulls to litter my apartment with. ;)

I've been here many times over the years and we always enjoy ourselves. It's a nice way to lose yourself for a few hours and forget about all of your worries. There is a huge selection of pottery to paint. They no longer charge a sitting fee, so the only price you pay is the price of the pottery. They also have different specials, so check their web site and see what promotions are going on. On the downside, the pottery is quite expensive. I selected a standard sized dinner plate and it was about $25. But, given that I enjoyed myself for 3 hours, and the price included use of all paints and materials, and the firing of the piece, it really isn't that expensive. read more

My Sorority has been doing fundraisers for the local food bank at All Fired up for about 4 years. The staff is pleasant and accommodates our large group every year. This place is fun, fun, fun. The staff is friendly and helpful, there are plenty of pieces to choose from, and a good variety of artistic materials to use (paints, brushes, several rubber stamps, and books and magazines for inspiration). Recently, we had a girls' night out here and everyone had a blast. We were able to bring our own food and wine into the shop to enjoy when we took a break from our projects. We had so much fun that we stayed quite a while past closing time without realizing it, but we didn't feel rushed by the staff. Prices are reasonable and I would suggest checking out their webpage because there is some kind of special on most days. read more

This place is fun if your looking foe doe, thing different to do. I've been here a few times with my kids. They suggest you call ahead to reserve a spot, I guess busy times vary. You can also bring your own food or drinks, alcohol too. I think I would find it hard to eat while painting my masterpiece lol. Located right on the main road in Collingswood there are plenty of places to eat before or after too. You go in, pick out your pottery, paint it and leave it on the table, they do the rest and you pick up your piece about 2 weeks later. We were there this past Saturday evening when the storms blew through. We received a call from our neighbor a tree had fallen on our house and we had to run out. The next day i called to see if they could hold our pieces so we can come back and finish, which they did. The staff is mostly young people and they are very nice. The pieces are a little expensive, however I did buy one of their Deals on Fire, which they sell through their website sometimes. It's $15 for $30 to spend, I purchased 3 so it was a great deal. They also have daily specials listed on their website. Overall I think this is a nice place and a fun activity. read more
