I went here for a night out with my friend. It was so refreshing to get away from the usual bar or restaurant for a night out. We brought a bottle of wine and painted instead! The space was clean and clean and surprisingly quiet. There are snacks like bags of smart pop or fruit snacks available for purchase. The staff were so nice and friendly. We had a little snafu at one point, and the staff took care of it right away. My one word of advice is to check the closing time! My only issue was that all of us had coupons and were planning on paying separately. Unbeknownst to us, they grouped us as one transaction and we were unable to reverse that as our one friend who had paid first left early. I've come here pretty regularly with my mom over the years. We love it! It's a large studio that gets a lot of light on sunny days which is excellent for painting. When you get there you'll notice that the pieces are quite pricey but that's because there's no sitting or paint fee so it's all built into the price of the pottery. Which is great because you know exactly how much you'll be paying right at the start. There's no time limit either, my mom and I like to choose I intricate designs and stay there most of the day. You can bring in snacks and drinks, so you really could be there all day. They have a great selection of paints, stamps and other accessories. Although the brushes are quite beat up, which is to be expected. I have brought my own before. The pieces usually take about a week to be fired, they'll only email you if something goes wrong (this has never happened to me so no worries) so don't wait around for contact just head in on the day they tell you. All Fired Up is such a fun activity for a family, date night, or just by yourself! As true to the other reviews, All Fired Up got rid of their sitting fee which means now you only have to pay for the price of your pottery. This is great because if you don't finish a piece you can always come back and still just pay the initial price of the pottery. When you walk in, there are SO many pieces to choose from ranging in prices and skill level. I went with a dog bowl, which wasn't too complicated. I also liked that there were examples throughout the store to give you some inspiration. The employees will explain how the paint works, and the key is to paint a lot of layers! The paint area was great, but the stamp area could definitely use some updates. There was a complete lack of organization of the stamps and a lot of the stamps were very outdated. It was hard to find matching letters, and then once I finally decided on a stamp it turned out pretty bad so I ended up painting right over it. Other than that, there were a large selection of brushes and paint trays. The pottery takes about a week to get back, which is a pretty quick turnaround. Overall, I am happy with my piece and this is definitely a fun activity. read more

Even though they see a ton of people each and everyday, there are 2 girls in particular (I'm sorry their names are escaping me) who remember who I am. We had a great time at All Fired Up yesterday. We did not know that reservations were required or encouraged (if this information is on the website, it's not obvious enough), but luckily they were able to accomodate my husband and I. That is, after the woman behind the counter looked at us like we had 3 heads. Regardless, we picked out our pieces and got t work. This place has a huge selection of pieces to choose from, including little figurines, decorative pieces, dishes, cups/mugs, bowls, and kitchen/counter top accessories, in a wide range of prices. There were definitely a few things there that I would like to go back and paint for my home. After picking out our pieces, we were given a run though of what to do, and we got to work. We found the experience very relaxing. Although the place was packed, it was rather quiet, as everyone concentrated on their pieces. I will definitely be back to paint more! read more

This place is great and there are Living Social deals often ($15 for $30 worth of merchandise, which they allow you to spend like a gift card). For those who haven't been here before, you are given a short tutorial on the different paints and finishes and how to achiever different looks on your pottery/plate/whatever you choose. You get to choose your paint brushes, as many paint colors and trays as you would like, different tools/pens, etc. to make your creation. Their selection of items to paint is really vast, and I have seen many different types of people here, from kids' parties to girls' night out to everything in-between. All in all a great time. I've been there twice now and can't wait to go back. You get to be so creative and no one judges your work or makes you feel like you're not artsy enough. They encourage you to bring food and byob if you want to. They make you feel at home, and the lady wouldn't let my friend and I clean up our space. She insisted we leave everything and she cleared it all up for us, which I thought was super nice and wasn't expecting that kind of treatment. We love All Fired Up. It is a fun crafty activity for young and old. We made a wonderful handpainted flower pot for our grandmother's 90th birthday. The staff is very helpful and there are so many items to paint. I suggest calling ahead to reserve a table especially on a weekend because they do lots of birthday parties. First date fun! My date came across this place via a LivingSocial deal and we thought it would be a fun activity date. So this is a pick-out-a-piece-place-and-paint it. Thought at first it might have been a pottery type place. They have a large selection of ceramic pieces to pick from...everything from plates and vases to mugs and picture frames. The prices are a bit steep (ex: ceramic mug was $15) and there is an $8 sitting fee. Soooo you are seated at a table, given instructions (were paint is etc.) and then you're left to your own devices! When you're finished you leave everything where it is! The patr I was not aware of was that you have to LEAVE your newly created piece so that it can be glazed then baked. Ours won't be ready until the 20th (10 days from now). So may not be the best FIRST date place in case it doesn't work out but it's def funand would go again. read more

This was definitely a good time and I highly suggest going with a friend or two who have done this before and know the ins and outs. My friend made reservations for our small group and, when we arrived, a table was set up for us. It was a bit overwhelming trying to choose a piece to paint (and then trying to decide on colors and design ideas). I won't lie -- the prices were a little steeper than I anticipated, plus there is a sitting fee. All of the brushes, stencils, sponges and paints are set up in one section. There are books with design ideas, too. The service was ok. They come around and write up a form with your name and what you're painting, which they use to check you out when you pay. I have come here several times and each time has been a great experience. The first time I had a groupon which saved quite a bit of money. I came in with my fiance and we painted something together. We were running a little behind and the staff even let us stay with them 30 minutes past closing! This was nice and much appreciated. The next time I came there I took my time and painted a frame for a gift. I sat outside in the pretty weather until it started to rain and then they found a spot for me inside to paint. We went for sensory friendly Sunday. They opened a little early for people on the spectrum. When we walked in my 5 year old wasn't interested at first and wanted to walk around. The young lady, Nina, saw the struggle his grandmother and I were having and began showing my son clay letters. She was God sent. He had such a great experience with the shaving cream technician she showed us and was extremely patient. She helped him write a letter to Santa and placed it in a mailbox they had there. She also let him play with an already made minion figure. I was so surprised how laid back the employees were and incredibly kind they were to the customers. I've been here many times over the years and we always enjoy ourselves. It's a nice way to lose yourself for a few hours and forget about all of your worries. There is a huge selection of pottery to paint. They no longer charge a sitting fee, so the only price you pay is the price of the pottery. They also have different specials, so check their web site and see what promotions are going on. On the downside, the pottery is quite expensive. I selected a standard sized dinner plate and it was about $25. But, given that I enjoyed myself for 3 hours, and the price included use of all paints and materials, and the firing of the piece, it really isn't that expensive. read more

They even have premade paints that will glaze a certain way to have bursts of color in it. Some of the paints are toxic so after having the pieces fired, you cannot eat from them. This place is fun if your looking foe doe,thing different to do. I've been here a few times with my kids. They suggest you call ahead to reserve a spot, I guess busy times vary. You can also bring your own food or drinks, alcohol too. I think I would find it hard to eat while painting my masterpiece lol. Located right on the main road in Collingswood there are plenty of places to eat before or after too. You go in, pick out your pottery, paint it and leave it on the table, they do the rest and you pick up your piece about 2 weeks later. We were there this past Saturday evening when the storms blew through. We received a call from our neighbor a tree had fallen on our house and we had to run out. The next day i called to see if they could hold our pieces so we can come back and finish, which they did. The staff is mostly young people and they are very nice. The pieces are a little expensive, however I did buy one of their Deals on Fire, which they sell through their website sometimes. It's $15 for $30 to spend, I purchased 3 so it was a great deal. I came here with the boyfriend for a Friday night date. We made reservations prior and entered the place very confused at first. The employees were helpful but not that helpful I felt like. We were confused on the whole process and everything and felt like they could of explained things more clear for us newbies. Deduct one star for that. But other than that we had a blast painting our potteries. There was a few other couples there as well for their dates as well as groups of friends of all ages.
