We were looking for something fun and hands on to do for vday and i stumbled upon this place on…read moreyelp. It only had 1 review so I went on to read their information and it mentioned wheel work. I called and spoke to Andrea, she was able to set us up for an evening of fun. I even found a Groupon the next day ($15 for $30 worth)! They are currently working on their website but their Facebook page is updated regularly. I think i found a new hobby. We came here for some pottery wheel action. Our instructor, Colleen, was awesome. We each took turns on the wheel and she gave great directions, tips, and quickly jumped in to help when needed. She definitely made our experience fun. I can't say enough about her. We worked with a total of 5 pounds of clay and was there for about an 1 and 1/2 and payed a total of $20. They closed 9pm that evening but I believe we left a little past 9:30. The staff was very accommodating. Colleen stated that it takes about 2 weeks for the clay to dry so we do have to return a second time to paint our creations and a third time after they have been fired up in the kiln. She brought my projects out in sealed boxes and I asked to see them before we left the store. She opened and never helped nor acknowledged us after that. She returned to the back of the store and we never saw or heard from her again. She wasn't pleasant, never a thank you or even "don't let the door hit you" from her. Customer service is key and that is where this Color Me Mine is lacking. Learn something from the young girls that are working at night and weekends.
