I'm beyond happy and so blessed to have found Consuelo Celemin on Yelp!!!…read more As a bride who found her wedding dress (last of it's kind @ David's Bridal!) on Halloween weekend with a wedding on Valentine's Day weekend, I was in quick need of a kind, patient, understanding and crafty seamstress who had experience working with specialty fabrics and wedding dresses and limited time for fittings and fixing. After visiting two other seamstresses with my heavy dress and huge underskirt, she was extremely sweet and very welcoming. She helped me slip into the entire outfit, gave me very great and honest feedback as to how she would tailor the dress to my figure and emphasize the parts of the dress I adored (the pleats! the train! and insanely epic bustling!). After already getting other quotes, I was in pins and needles as to her quote, but she was extremely reasonable, fair, and didn't put added pressure or charge extra because she'd be working on my dress in 2 months. I believe she's very talented, experienced, and she added extra comfort by saying that it wasn't necessary to have so many fittings prior to the wedding. She took my measurements, we set 2 added fittings before I finally took my dress with me the week of my wedding. She ALSO offered great ideas to improve my underskirt to give my dress it's full impressive shape for the ceremony, and even how to bustle the underskirt with the train/dress so that everything still had a full shape for the party. She was also extremely careful with all the intricate beading and pleats my dress came with, and was able to magically trim off almost 5 inches from my waist without disfiguring the pattern on the corset or the skirt. I cannot express how thoughtful, professional and reasonably priced Consuelo was... and the excellent care she took with my dress! I imagine she does the same with everyone's gowns, and it's truly, remarkably appreciated. Of all my wedding vendors, Consuelo was my favorite to work with and the absolute best! For any and all future important dress alterations, I'd go to her first!

It started with my daughter's prom dress and most recently she designed and made the most beautiful dresses for my daughter's wedding - including her bridal shower and rehearsal dinner dresses. When she was done with the alterations, the dress was a dream! Everyone asked where all the dresses were from because they were so gorgeous! Let me start of by saying Ana is the sweetest, if you are looking for REAL professionalism,…read moreexperience and talent - look no further! I cannot say enough good things about Ana, this lady is an angel! When I came to her, I had so much anxiety, and already started to believe it was my biggest mistake trying to design my own wedding dress after having multiple unprofessional issues with the prior designer before going to Ana. Ana reassured me I was in good hands and told me to have faith in her, soon enough I could tell I did not have to worry about a thing. From the moment we started to work together, Ana was helpful and couldn't have been more professional as she texted me regularly with updates, pictures, and was very flexible when scheduling each and every fitting. The dress came out exactly as I envisioned, I truly couldn't have been happier with the end result, all thanks to her work and commitment. I recommend Ana, to any bride that is looking to design her own wedding gown, and everyone in between that may need any sewing and alternations needed- she is the best!

I…read moreordered about 76 dresses for my best friend's wedding and didn't like any so I sent them all back. Then, I broke my foot so I ended up settling on something that would cover my unsightly boot. The dress had big balloon sleeves that were extremely long on me and ended with an ugly elastic at the wrist, so I knew I had to do something with them. I own a blouse with similar sleeves that end in a cuff, so I took the blouse with me when I dropped off the dress. Ana is lovely, honest and fair. She explained that it might not be possible to make the sleeves look like the blouse, especially in just a few days, and I appreciated her candor. She charged me a fair price and I left hoping the dress would look as nice as possible. I picked the dress up today and was amazed by how good the sleeves look. She made the cuff look exactly like the ones on the blouse and now it looks like a completely different dress! I am SO grateful to Ana, and will ABSOLUTELY be back! I am very particular about my clothing and get pieces altered often, so if I'm pleased, it says a lot! If you need something tailored, do not hesitate to give Ana a call. Just keep in mind, it's by appointment only!
