The result was a sloppy, poorly executed job that was completely unacceptable, especially given the outrageous price I was charged. I never complain about the cost of other people's work, because I hate when people try to put a price on mine. But if you're charging premium money, then you need to deliver premium service. No excuses. Since the change in management, prices have gone up by about 50%. I understand the cost of living is high, but this level of increase -- especially when paired with a clear drop in service quality -- is just unjustifiable. I'm deeply disappointed. I was questioning their $64 comforter cleaning price tag and the worker told me to "use common sense" on a comforters weight. My education on comforters is not as vast as his clearly. Horrible service and employees are extremely rude. All the owner had to do was weigh my comforter. I didn't say I didn't believe him I simply asked for a breakdown on the cost. I wish I didn't pay anything to this establishment and left my comforter there. I've never been spoken to like that from a business owner working for a service I am paying for. I trusted they were done because it was an inside stitching that I wanted around existing torns from the jeans knee area that I wanted to prevent from getting worse. After a few weeks realized one of the jeans was fixed and the other wasn't even touched even though I paid for both Jean repairs. Also, the only one that did get fixed was also coming apart so I decided to bring them both again for the help. Not only did they denied that they had even worked on them (in a way just flat out calling me a liar) They insisted in charging me everything all over again. When I obviously refused but even met half way by asking for at least a discount, they totally denied helping me completely. The manager was simply the rudest asking me to leave without wanting to listen to what I had to say. He basically said, nothing will be done, you can go. Not once was I rude, or raised my voice. At all times I was cordial, just asking for some type of consideration and trust. I would never lie. It's a jean repair for gods sake! I Even asked them to check on their records from the past so they will see that the job was done on their location.. They obviously denied because they have no system and no way of checking anything from before. This will be my first bad review I ever post in my life. I believe that if you have nothing nice to say, it's better to not say anything at all... But honestly I was humiliated and called a liar... by some irresponsible and dishonest people and I won't take it. Mostly to prevent other people to go thru what I just had to experience. My last time using them, and I used them only because they're close to my job, was on Friday. I noticed a dirt spot on the collar of a dress shirt. She said with a grumpy attitude that she would redo. When I checked the second shirt it also had particles of food on the front which I began to take off with my fingernail. When I mentioned that to a woman who identified herself as Iliana, and the owner, her reply was that I was only paying for laundering, not dry cleaning in a cocky and offensive fashion. Based on the reviews, I decided to take a chance and I am seriously regretting it. It started off well; the woman who answered the phone was really nice and helpful and offered to send someone to pick up my clothing. That, unfortunately, was the only good thing that happened. I sent a bunch of bedding to be laundered, a shirt to be cleaned and a dress that needed a zipper repair. I was told that the laundry would come back the next day, and the dry cleaning + repair within 2 days. After that, black hole. No confirming email that listed what I'd sent, and no follow up about returning my stuff. I called the next day about my bedding (had originally been told it would be delivered at 4pm); the guy who answered the phone told me that it would be delivered by 5pm. When I called 30 minutes past that time, he was like 'oh the driver might not get there-- is it ok if he comes later or tomorrow morning?' It was my BEDDING, so not OK not to meet your promised delivery time. So they deliver it late and it is STILL STAINED. Awful. So I call back, and they ask to have a re-do. So the guy comes to pick it back up the next day. No word at all on the other items I sent, despite the fact they'd been promised with a 2-day turnaround. Today, after it's been over a week since I sent my clothing over with no update, I have my husband call to find out what's going on. After pushing them, they finally agree to deliver my stuff back. My dress comes back with the zipper STILL BROKEN, and my shirt comes back in TWO PIECES (the under-tank was ripped away from the main shirt.) Worst of all is that I was charged for this junky service, and now I have to take everything to my regular alterations place and pay again to get it fixed. I cannot recommend this place AT ALL.
