What an absolutely incredible business! I found a Gloria Couture through Yelp. I'd ordered a dress on Etsy for my wedding that was stunning with net (shoutout to Svetlana Nikitina). However, since, I've lost a few pounds and the dress needed to be slightly taken in. Given that it is net, I had a few tailors tell me it was impossible and I began to lose hope. Gloria and her daughter (who works at this wonderful family business) immediately responded saying they were pretty sure they could do it and not only gave me a cost estimate but set up an appointment for me through Yelp itself! The appointment itself went wonderfully. Gloria is a sweetheart. She's great at what she does and just an overall nice person. I was still skeptical because of how intricate the details on this dress are. Within 2 weeks it was ready for me to pick up. I am AMAZED. I have never felt prettier. I WOULD never recommend anyone go to Gloria Couture. Gloria altered my wedding dress and when I showed up for my final appointment (3 days before my wedding at The Breakers), they hadn't hemmed the bottom of the dress. She made me wait for them to hem it and when I tried it on again, the dress liner was showing. I am not sure why she thought it was acceptable to hem a dress and leave the liner showing but clearly she does not know what she is doing or rushed to finish it. So then I had to wait around for her to fix the liner and when I tried on the dress again, Gloria had gotten HER lipstick on my dress. I did not have any makeup on and have pictures of myself that day to prove it and the lipstick she had gotten on my dress was the exact color of lipstick she was wearing that day. Not only did she get lipstick on the dress, but she hemmed it so that one side was longer than the other. So two days before my wedding, I had to take my dress to a different seamstress where she commented on the uneven length. Lastly, she added jelly to the chest area and did such a poor job, that it created a rippling effect. So that also had to be fixed by the other seamstress. Not only did I have to pay the second seamstress to fix all of Gloria's horrible work, Gloria refused to give me my money back despite all of the distress she caused me the week of my wedding. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with and I cannot believe she ruined my wedding dress the week of my wedding. In response to Gloria's claim that I wore makeup to try on my dress, I have several photos of my full face that day showing that I wore NO MAKEUP. And I have pictures of her seamstress wearing red lipstick. She is unprofessional, rude and clearly a bad business owner. There is no way she can produce photos/videos of me wearing makeup to her store because that NEVER happened. I - on the other hand - have plenty of photos to prove I wore ZERO makeup while trying on my dress. read more

I don't have the words to describe how incredible of an experience I had with Gloria Couture for my wedding dress from beginning to end. Joanna and Gloria meet with every single client personally and even while doing that, every single appointment was right on time and I never felt like my time was rushed to meet with the next client. Joanna and Gloria's attention to detail is truly unparalleled. They made sure that every tiny little detail was to my absolute liking and would make suggestions to make my dress PERFECT. My dress is fully beaded and embellished with 3D appliqués top to bottom so every little detail required a lot of intricacy. I came to a fitting with my future mother in law whose family is generationally rooted in Miami, and she said that this much attention to detail and businesses that truly care like this don't exist anymore. Joanna, Gloria, and the rest of your amazing team- I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for this incredible experience and for making me feel so so soooo good in my dress! I was in need of a baptism gown for my baby girl. I searched the internet, boutiques, pinterest and even some local upscale baby stores. Nothing I found was what I had in mind. I am so upset that I did not think to extensively check my dress prior to my photo session because had I seen this I wouldn't have accepted my dress when I picked it up over a month ago. I am so glad it was only for a photo session and not a full day of wedding festivities because with this quality it wouldn't have lasted whatsoever. I was on my way to my wedding portrait session when I noticed that some of the apliques were loose and when I took a closer look I see the loose threading in the first two photos. With stitching like that where the apliques were loose (as you can tell by the photos), it could've very easily have been broken. I then looked along the hemline and I saw the green threading and felt simply appalled because I could've done something like that... I paid $350 and that was the final product? That's insulting. I'm giving two stars because the owner was very kind and explained everything clearly throughout the process and the bustle was done well but seeing this yesterday is why I'm giving this review instead of the 5 stars I initially intended and why I'm not going back as originally intended for a second dress I need to fix for a vows photo session. read more

I got married in December 2016. I couldn't find a dress that I was completely happy with. I decided I needed to design my own, but I knew nothing about making a wedding dress. I met with Gloria and Joanna and they were just as excited for my vision as I was. I showed them about 20 different dresses from Pinterest, pulling a neckline from one, a shape and color from another. Gloria's team started working on my dress in June 2016; I drove from Orlando 4 times for fittings, and on that fourth visit my dress was done and was absolutely jaw dropping. They worked with me even long distance, to make sure everything was perfect. They were willing to work through texts, emails, and even FaceTime to make my dream dress a reality for me. During (and even after) my wedding, guests and the PHOTOGRAPHER, kept asking where I found my dress. It was truly one of a kind. No one will ever see that dress on anyone else, and it's a pretty incredible feeling. I told everyone I could, to go visit Gloria. For any occasion. Her team is absolutely incredible. I usually have a habit of setting my hopes so high that I'm often disappointed, but in this case, Gloria and Joanna exceeded my expectations unbelievably.
