It's next to a strip club. How has no one said this before? Bride was feeling kinda down about her workout goals. I told her all she needed to do was at least try one dress on to shake out all the negative thoughts she had in mind. So early Saturday afternoon we start our scavenger hunt for this place. Maybe I was driving to fast. One miss turn had me accidentally getting on I-95S. Following the lines I see the strip club and make a joke of it and pass it. We finally park and just walk the area. Yes, the bridal shop is pretty much next door to a strip club! We half excepted the place to be filled with items for a bachelorette/passion party. Windows spaces told up not to hold our breaths. We walked in to many women holding gowns. We were greeted and quickly help. Since friend, was still very unsure exactly what she wanted we were in the hands of the associate. She gets her into her first dress (EVER) and she's in love. Tries on a second that she wasn't too fond of - and loves it more than the first. Gets into a third dress and has to stop. Everything she had been shown she's in love with. She was asked several times with putting a down on a dress but with her wedding still over 18 months away so she had no intention of buying immediately. While she was getting into her dress I looked for bridesmaid options. Iit really is all about the bride. Once I told an associate that the other bridesmaids wouldn't be here I was pretty much left alone to the rack of dresses. One other associate popped up to help, but when I shared that info with her she just referred me to a bunch of catalogs that they had in store. It would have been better if there was a sample dresses for all the catalogs they have. Maybe it was my bad luck - everything I touched wasn't in. The bride left happy and filled with ideas on her go to dress so she'll probably be back in a few months to buy. Bridesmaids are gonna continue our search but will be back with her as well. Great dresses just might need more people on the weekends for the bigger crowds. read more

I fell in love with my dress at Happy Bride! I had a great experience for being so worried about getting "that feeling" about a dress. They listened to what I wanted and put me in a dress I couldn't even have imagined being so lovely and flattering. I think it was maybe the 4th one I tried on! Instantly I knew it was the one! They also have a great in house seamstress that custom made new straps and made the existing ones off-the-shoulder. I would never ever ever come back here or recommend this place a all. The owner was INCREDIBLY rude. He constantly made rude remarks about my size (12) and told me I was "way too big for this store. You're just way too big". Mind you, his wife was the one helping me with dresses, not him. I was trying on this one dress that had a lot of beading in the midsection, which I did not like how it looked, when I told this to his wife, he decided to make yet another remark about my body in front of the whole store and began pulling dresses that were nothing like what I wanted. When I first walked in I told them that this was my first time looking at dresses and I was just trying to look around, but at the end when I was leaving, the wife got incredibly upset at me for not buying a dress. Even if I loved a dress there (I didn't) I would NEVER buy my dress from a place that had that horrible of customer service. Not to mention, those dresses were very expensive for no reason. I ended up finding my dream dress at David's Bridal for more than half of the price of one of the dresses at Happy Bride, and the dress from David's Bridal is way more glitzy and with more beading. So save your money, save yourself a headache, and go somewhere else. read more

So... She asked me about how much was my budget, I told here around $800. Her answers were that I should look the sales on the website . My sister-in-law bought her dress here so I decided to give it a try. I didn't make an appointment the first time, my mom randomly surprised me and took me in. I'm not sure if she had an appointment or not. After going to other bridal stores, I felt like royalty here. I had a personal assistant dedicated to helping me find dresses based on my preferences (just like on say yes!). I looked through some catalogues, but I had no clue about dresses before I got there. The attendant helped me in and out of each dress. She even explained the different under garments that I would need for each dress, hoop skirt, crinoline, petticoat... As you can now tell I was clueless. After many many dress changes I found THE ONE, only it didst have a train and I always envisioned a ling train, so we added it. It was an Allure couture gown. I made some other changes to the gown as well. The seamstress was magical and did a phenomenal job on my 4" train into a bustle. They also steamed the dress before pick up. (Another thing I would not have thought of). From beginning to end a magical experience. I also want here for my friend`s wedding. This is where she chose her bridesmaids dresses. So many happy memories here when I drive by now I wish I had a reason to stop in. read more

We made the appointment at 11 and we were prepared to spend all of our day trying on dresses until we said I DO... We got the promptly at 11 and the girl that helped us was waiting for us with the dresses we were looking for and we then went through other dresses as well. It was trying on time, and she helped me get in and out of the gown fast and painless. While I tried on 7 different models, my and the bride's heart was settled on the first one. We then went to the register, paid and went on with our day. They also have a BEAUTIFUL selection of wedding gowns that only made me want to get married again! After looking on their website and always seeing their name pop up as "the store" under the designers I liked, I was really excited to go. I arrived for my appointment with the list of about 6 dresses that I had seen online that I liked. A few of them were Impression, but I was informed that they don't actually carry Impression bridal gowns, even though it appears that they do on their site. Of the 3 Allure dresses I preselected, they had only one to try on. I couldn't even bother getting undressed to try it on at that point. I looked at other dresses while I was there, hoping to like at least one, but no luck. The customer service was not terrible, but not terribly helpful either. Didn't seem like they cared if I bought a dress there or not. I will be heading back to Victoria's (which by the way, had the Allure dress $200 cheaper and much better service). read more

She bent over backwards to help and even let me buy one from the show floor even though it will take her some time to get another sample into the store. She immediately brought in the seamstress Josefa to get me fitted. I was so grateful and feel so gorgeous in that dress. She also helped us to get a dress for my mom last minute--she looks like a million bucks! Bad selection. They have none if the gowns for the designers they claim they gave. They try to up sell you to a $1pk itchy dress that I wouldn't pay $39 for. Horrible customer service! I walked in and NO one acknowledged me. No how are you? No how may I help you? No NOTHING! There was plenty of staff in the store, two were sitting up front by the register just chatting away. Another one walked from the back and said my son was cute and just kept on walking, didn't bother asking me if I was already being helped. I finally just walked out. This is not a place that you would want to consider giving your money to. I wish there was an option for zero star because this is exactly what I would have given them !
