I went to Ever After about a month ago and my mother and I were treated horribly by Camille, the owner. When we arrived, I showed her a picture of a wedding gown I liked JUST so she could see the kind of open back I was looking for. She immediately attacked us by saying she does not have those type of (cheap) gowns and that we would have to go somewhere else. She didn't even give me the chance to explain that I was just showing her the dress so she could see the open back. She made us feel horribly, like if we didn't have the budget for her gowns (which was absolutely not true). She then realized she was being rude and tried to overcompensate while I was trying on gowns. However, she spit out the prices of the gowns I was trying on (in the range of $12-15k) like it wasn't a big deal, again, because she probably assumed we didn't have the budget (not true) and wanted to make us feel bad. Also, while we were both in the dressing room, she made a rude joke about my mother "not knowing" what kind of gown to pick out for me. I would've probably purchased one of the gowns I tried on but because of the terrible customer service I received, I chose to get the same gown somewhere else where brides are treated better. I have been to many ateliers, particularly in NYC, and this is by far where I've been treated the worst. I had the worst experience in this Bridal Boutique. It was my first fitting as being engage for a couple of months. I really like the gowns of the designer Reem Acra. I keep contact with somebody from the store to make sure I had spot to the Trunk Show'15. Am finally arrived to the store. Waiting for a while in the front until somebody notice us and ask for my name & how much am going to expend. She give me a paper to write my info. Not a warm, friendly welcome. I let the lady know what style of gowns I want to try out. When I told her my budget that it was $5000. She kept saying that didn't have some of the new collections of Reem Acra. That it don't make sense cause I went to the Reem Acra Trunk Show. She only limit me to try 3 gowns. I felt really uncomfortable & intimidate with the seller. Also there was another engaged lady that everyday in the boutique was paying attention cause she was going to spend $10000 all her friends & family got champagne and my sister & me we didn't even care about the champagne we just want to try the gowns that I like. When I finally try out the 3 gowns, I told the seller that I want to try an Inbal Dror VIP BR-12-5 gown. She told me that was too much of a gown for me . She didn't even took it out so I can see it. It really sucks !!! I feel terrible.! But everything happens for a reason cause I end up going to another boutique and choose the Inbal Dror VIP gown and got married on this beautiful gown. It just sucks that people will judge you cause they think you can't afford a gown and cause of that they treat you like you are nobody. I end expending in the other boutique $11,000 more cause the accessories and taxes but it was all worth cause it was my dream gown. Stop judging people cause of the budget, you can compromise if is your dream gown. It just too bad that you have horrible customer services. read more

Cannot recommend as my experience was less than pleasant. I was especially thrown off because the owner told me they were very careful about not selling the same dress to two brides from the same country. The day i purchased my dress, she asked me where I was from and wrote it down. But then my almost-neighbor walked down the isle in my same dress only a month after my wedding and that hit hard. A couple brides had told me about their unpleasant experience at the shop. I just bought my wedding dress at Ever After and I wish I'd gone there first to save me some time! My mother and I went to several shops beforehand (including Chic Parisien), and while they were nice, they didn't hold a candle to Ever After. Our consultant, Renato, kicked off the experience by taking us through a very thoughtful and deliberate interview. He really picked our brains and carefully looked through pictures we'd assembled before showing us a range of gowns that were each unbelievably gorgeous and right on the mark. He also expertly fixed my hair in a quick updo to mimic how the veil would look in real life, set "dusk-like" lighting to recreate the venue and time, and selected sashes that made each gown pop. Better yet, he was willing (and able) to work with us on the price. I ended up getting an incredible gown for a great deal by getting the sample, and Renato also included the sash and veil. This is truly a full-service bridal salon. They work by appointment only and (seemingly, based on the one changing room I saw) only take one bride at a time. They really go out of their way to make you feel special and help you navigate choosing a gown -- a boon for any nervous bride. I purchased my wedding dress here last year during their sample sale - it was a great deal! The appointment was fun, the staff was very nice and made sure to pay very close attention to me, even if they didn't pay attention to what I was looking for. I had a look in mind, and specifically said that I didn't want white - I don't need to look like a marshmallow on my wedding day. I also said that I didn't want sleeves/straps - she kept bringing me all the things I didn't want. Just when I thought she wasn't hearing what I was saying, she brought in one more and it was perfect! I was a little surprised at how beat up their sample dresses were, but we were able to fix all the little problems (and little they were). The actual experience was a blast - champagne, pictures, getting to twirl around in fluffy dresses :) It was a very fun day. I took my dress elsewhere for the tailoring because I moved back to Virginia, but they quoted a fair price (just a little over what I paid the chosen tailor). Service is KEY in the bridal industry. I went to a few other well known bridal stores here in Miami before coming here. My assumption was that they were going to be too expensive. While they are a little on the expensive side, working with the ladies of this boutique made my dress shopping and fitting that much easier. When she realized the store did not cater to what I was looking for, she went out of her way to suggest & even print out other bridal boutiques she felt may be better suited. The WORST experience. They wrongly charged my credit card $13,500 for someone else's dress then Camille, the owner, took 3 weeks to reverse it. They sent me my veil a week before my wedding because they ordered the wrong one and used the excuse that's its on 'backorder'... I ordered the veil a year before my wedding and it was supposed to arrive with my dress 5 months before. They charged my credit card $600 to send my dress and did not tell me in advance that it would be that much! Camille is impossible to get in touch with... Wedding planning is a stressful time and the last thing a bride needs is stress about her wedding dress which should be one of the most enjoyable parts. Let me start by saying I looked at at least 10 bridal stores before making my way to Ever After. This bridal store is as good as it gets in Miami. The quality and design of her dresses are stunning. Everything is off the runway and it shows. You have to be prepared to spend here, but you get way you pay for. Camille, the store owner is lovely to work with. I have a love hate relationship with this place. I hate to say it, but I wish I got my dress somewhere else. If you are from Miami you know the most popular brial shops, Daisy Taris, Chic parisien and Ever after. They have the designer dresses that are beautiful if its in your budget. My parents were able to afford it for me but I wish they could have saved their money. They are really good at their job and knew which dresses to bring out to me, but I felt pressured once I decided which I liked the best. I had to put a deposit and then had 2 weeks to decide. Never let anyone pressure you when getting your dress. I was running around crazy for the next 2 weeks going to other bridal shops, because i was unsure. I knew I liked the dress but can't say it was my dream dress like some people say. Anyways after much back and forth we agreed on the dress. Another negative thing is how insanely fake everyone is there. Its good that they smile and are nice but its like the girls that work there are required to have high pitched voices. Well once I purchased the dress I set up my 3 fittings. I have never been married before so I went with dates they recommended assuming they knew what they were doing. Later on after speaking with a friend that had gotten her dress their she was shocked by how close to my wedding the first fitting was. This concerned me so i called to change it. Everytime I called I had to leave my name and number and never got a call back. After countless back and forth with several different girls that worked there and emails, I finally spoke with the manager Camile, who is the only one on top of things. At first she was pretty firm on not being able to change my dates but after sending her proof of an email confirming a date change she agreed to change it. Well thank god I was able to have it changed, because I ended up needing 5 fittings. I was there unfortunely almost every 2 days before my wedding. They were able to accommodate and work late and get it done, but in the end, I was not very comfortable the night of my wedding. From the first fitting I knew my dress was tight on my ribcage. They assured me that if it wasnt tight it would fall down and I would spend the night holding it up. So I agreed. I am absolutely positive I did not gain weight. Unlike most brides I chose to eat at my wedding and then my dress got tighter. Well I ended up freakin out a bit because I could barely breathe and was so uncomfortable i had a few friends go to the hotel and get me a dress to change into. I basically had to be rescued out of my dress. So in the end, I felt bad for having my parents spend so much on a dress that I kind of resent. I know they just want to make me happy with the dress I love and I feel awful that they know I was a bit miserable in it. read more

I went here during a trunk show and they were over an hour and a half late for our appointment. What was the point of the appointment in that case? Why didn't they call to say they were running late? The answers to these questions escape me. While running over is par for the course on trunk shows, it would have been nice if they could have told me. While the owner being present is a nice touch, she is cold at best and high pressure. On the other hand, the sales girl I was paired with was an absolute doll. I can't remember her name, but it was an unusual name and she had blonde hair. She made the trip worthwhile. Overall, the visit was ok, but the hour and a half late thing was a pain. As mentioned above, the owner was super high pressure and caused me to walk away on a gown that I was 80% sold on. If you go, make sure to get an early appointment to avoid the tardiness issue. Wish I could give this place zero stars. My sister in law bought her wedding dress from here. The month before her wedding they suggested she come for her fittings. They ordered her 2 sizes too big so when she went to get it altered it was totally disproportional to her body. Nobody had an explanation or even offered to compensate for the THOUSANDS of dollars she spent here. After to speaking with other brides apparently this is not the first time this has happened and I'm sure won't be the last. Such a shame. Oscar De La Renta corporation was notified as this boutique should not be allowed to rep their line. Such a disappointment. Although considered to be of the premier bridal boutiques in Miami, I consider this place of the absolute worst. They have high end dresses but a pathetically small selection that is set in a dark, unwelcoming environment. The salespeople are disengaged and do nothing to make your once in a lifetime experience a special one. Forget champagne or private fitting rooms to make your bridesmaids or mother comfortable! My two experiences here were these: 1) I went to Ever After for their "once a year" sample sale on Black Friday before my wedding. I had made a special trip in my own since all of my family and friends were out of town for the Thanksgiving. I tried on a Vera Wang Sample that I liked but that was too tight with several things I wanted to change about it. I was immediately pressured to make a decision because "they had a ton of other girls coming in that day and were overbooked". To make a decision on a wedding dress in 15 minutes is nothing you should ever do! I called my mom who advised me to wait since I wanted to change so much about the dress. I walked out of the store and headed to my car only to be chased down by the owner of the store who convinced me to come back inside and try the dress on again. I did. She told me all of the alterations that could be done and how they could make it exactly as I wanted it. I ended up buying the dress for $3,000 that day. I later proceeded with the alterations which worked out nothing like the owner told me they would. In the end, that dress still hangs in my closet, unused, as a reminder of what a mistake shopping at Ever After was. I bought another dress a couple months later from a different boutique. 2) My best friend came here because they carry a line of dresses she was interested in. I accompanied her begrudgingly. The salesperson was dressed sloppily and obviously did not take the job or the experience of the bride seriously at all. My friend asked for some champagne for her mother and I as we watched her try on dresses because we saw the store bring some out for a Cuban family that was there with their daughter trying on dresses. The salesperson dishonestly told us they "do not do that". What a turnoff! We later on found the same dress for less on a trip to New York. read more

Do not bother at all with this salon. The salon itself is dark ,dirty and depressing. The sales women were inexperienced and unfriendly UNLESS PERHAPS YOU ARE SPANISH. This was the worst experience , the gowns are old not current season and dirty so it is impossible to see the real color of the dress. We were very never offered anything to drink , even the space to sit and see the bride is uncomfortable with these backless couch/ottoman things that were so low to the ground that my back hurt after 20 minutes. I had such a wonderful experience at Ever After today. I haven't bought my dress there yet but I am so pleased with the experience that I decided to leave the review for them right away. I was helped by Elise D'Amour. She was so wonderful. She took her time to talk to us and understand a type of dress I wanted and then selected 4-5 models herself (sticking to my budget) and then she let me go crazy and pick any dresses I wanted to try on as well. We ended up with 8-10 in total. She was very professional and patient with us. She brought different veils to match different dresses, made suggestions in altering dresses to fit my body type better and was knowledgeable about fabrics and models. I loved her! She made my wedding dress shopping wonderful and unforgettable. Ever After is a beautiful store. It doesn't have private viewing rooms like some other stores do, but who needs them anyways. You get to see what other brides are trying on and it is fun. The decor is chic and sophisticated. The lightning is perfect. This is an expensive store for brides with a larger budget (like $5000 and up). I had hard time sticking to mine. They will let you take pictures. I though it was important because I am a type of person who is taking time in making such an important decision and it is nice that I have pictures of the top two choices I made. read more

My experience at EA was phenomenal. We arrived a bit early but were immediately greeted by Elise (spelling?) who was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She took time to get to know me, etc. The first dress she had me try was PHENOMENAL....what I had been dreaming of and describing but had never seen. She pulled other great dresses too. She was VERY conscious of my insecurities- quickly washing them away if I said anything negative. If I didn't like something she quickly moved on. The dresses are beautiful, but what makes it the best is the staff. I found my dress at a different store but came in to try a dress I loved here one last time, just to make sure. It was saturday night, just as they were about to close. The owner not only took me in and let me try it on, but gave me a handful of other dresses to try and when I decided to go with the dress from the other store, she said "Well, you found your dress!" and brought out champagne for my mom and I. I went to two bridal salons looking for my dress - Ever after and Chic Parisien. Ever after is exactly what I was hoping the experience would be. They make you feel special, listen to you and don't rush you in any way. The dresses are laid out behind glass - very pretty. I went with my mom and aunt and we had a great time. They even arranged for extra lace and fabric from my gown so that my aunt can make my veil by hand - throwing in the veil itself (the plain one - aunt is adding the lace) and the specs for the veil at no additional cost. My only complaint is that corner dressing room - I didn't like being in the corner. However; I was promptly moved to one of the more central rooms that are larger.
