While the dresses are good quality (they are more expensive than other stores) the service we received upon entering was discouraging. We were there a few years ago for another family member and it was great, but this time, the attitude from the women in the front was nasty. We walked in with coffee and you would have thought we were tracking in dog poop or worse. It's just about the way you say things . We had no problem not taking our coffee inside, just tell us nicely. Unless they are trying to give the real French bitches attitude experience. From the moment I walked in, my experience with Marisol was exceptional. I came in already having fallen in love with a dress I had tried at another boutique, and I was very transparent with her about that. Despite this, Marisol immediately welcomed me, brought us into a private room, and made my mother, sister, and two daughters feel completely comfortable and included. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions about my wedding and my personal style, and with each dress she brought in, she continued to fine-tune her understanding of what I liked. When she brought in a Berta gown, I was hesitant--I truly didn't think the look or style would work for me. Marisol gently encouraged me to try it on, and I'm so glad I did. I completely fell in love with the dress. She then went above and beyond by styling it in different ways, walking me through accessory options, and offering ideas on how it could be altered and customized to feel uniquely mine. I ultimately said yes to the dress and couldn't be happier. Marisol is welcoming, professional, patient, and incredibly intuitive. She truly takes the time to find what is right for the bride, not just what's on the rack. Kati was absolutely amazing in helping me pick out the perfect wedding dress! I cannot put into words how wonderful she was (11/10). We also mentioned we were headed to a drag brunch after shopping, and she gave us a glowing recommendation for drag brunch (R House, which we prompted switched our reservation to - and this was hands-down the best drag brunch I've ever attended). My family, friends, and I flew in from California and NYC and were so impressed to find that this shop carries many of the same designers as the high-end NYC shops. I highly recommend without reservation! My only critiques: I'm not sure how the VIP experience compares to the non-VIP, but the "sweet treats" that were included in the VIP booking were very limited. So, I would highly suggest eating something light before your visit. Also, I think the experience would have been even more perfect with music playing throughout the shop (I played some from my phone, but it felt a touch uncomfortably quiet at first). Honestly there are many other beautiful bridal shops in Miami I would skip this one!!! To say I am dissatisfied and disappointed is an understatement. I ordered a custom gown back in March of 2024 and given my measurements they suggested a larger size which I of course had to pay extra for. I had told them I am in the process of losing weight and want to order a size or 2 down. They reassured me that it is much better for the gown to be big than small. Fast forward 8 months later my gown arrives and I am drowning in the dress ( again they made me order the larger size and pay more money for it) . So the first time I try on my dress it is HUGE on me and it was instant disappointment. So their solution to me was to pay the alterations fee which is $1800 So not only did they make me pay for the larger dress that I didn't even want to order in the larger size but now I have to pay for the alterations to fix it since it was more like 3 sizes too large on me. They only cared about getting the sale from me after that it was like I was trash. I love my dress NOW since my seamstress took the dress in 7 inches!!! When you are spending 7,000+ on a dress and veil I expect better customer service. I cannot stress how big of a disappointment this was they ruined it for me completely . And the fact is no one in that store even cares. No one cared that I was upset or unhappy!! Horrible horrible. read more

However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience thanks to Kendall (who you may have seen on their Instagram). She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and truly understood the assignment. She helped me find a gorgeous second look, and honestly, she changed my perception of the store. Honest feedback that I posted directly to chic Parisian, and I would have kept it that way, but the only response I got was an email from someone on the customer success team, apologizing for one part of my review but entirely disregarding the rest. I responded back to that and never heard back. The good: The selection at Chic Parisian is unparalleled. I really am in love with my dress. The two alteration specialists (wish I got their names) were so so so sweet and professional and kind. Another woman, also wish I had her name, is very very sweet and helpful. She has short brown hair and glasses and often is at the front desk. The 3 stars I gave are due to dress selection and the 3 employees mentioned above. That said, there are definitely aspects to Chic Parisian that I wouldn't necessarily recommend to future brides. Point blank, the staff (minus the few I pointed out above), are not exceptionally sweet and friendly, as you would expect from people you are spending such a significant and intimate time with. I purchased (not that it should matter because respect and kindness should never be contingent upon financial capabilities...) a very expensive dress. Everytime I bought up budget, it became awkward and my saleswomen seemed less and less interested in the sale. The staff at Chic Parisian treated everything as a business deal. Yes, ultimately, that's what it is. But I cannot help but feel like I "missed out" on experiences my friends had at other boutiques, where the employees met the brides with enthusiasm, passion, and sweetness. Furthermore, I specifically told my saleswoman that I am well within the "Jewish community" in miami. She wrote it down. I told her it's very important to me that no one has my dress. Lo and Behold, 2 weeks before my wedding, a girl from the Jewish community wore my wedding dress. When I called Chic Parisian, I was met with a stand-offish and flippant response, "sorry to hear about this, you're welcome to come in and make changes to your dress" in a bored tone. Again....unacceptable. Where is the empathy? The professionalism? All of us this is to say, despite chic Parisian having a great selection of dresses, they don't make it a fun and exciting experience. Many people I have spoken to have told me they felt belittled, rushed, and treated as a business transaction. This was my first appointment and I cannot complain about the service. I had a nice appointment with a very competent attendant who was efficient and matter of fact. I would agree that there were points where it was all business (as read in previous comments) but I liked that. You have to cut to the chase and understand the budget and the image of yourself as a bride - it's actually harder than you think to accomplish this in an hr. I ended up very far away from what I thought I might like. I didn't end up purchasing but I will follow them and keep an eye on Instagram. Toward the end of the appointment, there felt like there was pressure to make a decision and I would have liked some alone time with my friend to chat and mull things over but that's minor peeve. There are truly no words to describe how happy I am with my experience at Chic Parisien. I found a dress I was in love with a few years ago that I always knew when the time came I had to try on. Other bridal salons I went to had promised to me they had it and ultimately when going to my appointment they just had "similar styles" but not the dress and if I wanted to try it on I would have to pay a lot of money to get the sample shipped from the designer. At my first appointment at Chic, I instantly felt a connection with my bridal consultant Kendall who I am absolutely in love with. I showed her the exact dress I wanted to try and although the sample was not in stock she assured me the designer had an upcoming trunk show and she would request that they send a sample for me to try at no additional cost to me. The customer service I experienced was unparalleled to all the other places I went to. At my next appointment the dress I had fallen in love with years ago ended up being my dress!! I made some changes to the neckline of my dress and was nervous how the final result would turn out and after trying it on for the first time today I couldn't believe I had any doubts. I had an unsatisfactory experience at Chic Parisien. I saw there were mixed reviews and I wish I had listened. I was very excited to go here as they have a lot of great designers and the store is beautiful. However, my consultant was extremely pushy and just trying to make a sale. After spending a lot of time with me, she barely said bye. I wasn't ready to make a decision so I asked if I could come back another day, but she made me feel like I don't want to ever go back there. I also wish they would've warned me that I would be in the same room as my guests, rather than just throw us in there. I would've dressed differently had I know I'd be undressing with them there. Pros: nice decor in the front, the salesperson greeted me, my fiance was allowed to come to the back Con: Service was 'eh' for the price of the dresses. I get WAY better service at David's Bridal, which is WAY cheaper. Salesperson was very persistence but I guess that's their job. She kept on insisting that these were designer dresses and emphasizing that it was REAL silk, and REAL lace, and I had to BUY today because the dress will be GONE tomorrow! I find it highly doubtful that someone would be willing to pay $2,800 for a beaded lacy beautiful ( i must admit) dress that had holes in the lace and the lace was also tattered at the bottom. Mind you, $2,800 was suppose to be the "sale discount" price It was a major decision that I had to make and I don't like being pushed to buy something. I wanted to wait one day so my friend could come back with me to view the dress, but she said it would be gone by tomorrow. Also, The muse collection​ from Berta was being shown when I came. ​ First of all, do not expect ANY sort of luxury, excitement, joy or variation thereof. A glass of water? A glass of champagne? NO. The experience is dull, to say the least. We walked in​ and heard screams coming from the back. There was a huge cocaroach! Then we were greeted nonchalantly and then escorted to a tiny fitting room. Uhm, were a party of 5 how are we all fitting in here? PLUS, I am not comfortable getting fully naked in front of my future mother-in-law. Yikes, awful​. Second, Lucy treated me like a business transaction​, hurrying me in and out of dresses and showing me $11,000 dresses that were notin the​e ​ budget. What a waste of time. My whole party was in shock and begged that we cut the appointment​ short. This bridal boutique has a wonderful selection of dresses. I purchased my dress in January of 2020 for a wedding that was supposed to happen in October 2020. Obviously a month later COVID-19 happened and my wedding was cancelled. Not postponed, cancelled. I ended up getting married by proxy February 2020 since even a courthouse wedding was impossible. Both my husband (he was overseas at the time) and I are service members and we were unable to see each other for the entirety of 2020 due to COVID restrictions. In February of 2020 I tried to cancel my dress order and get my money back. The boutique denied my request due to the fact that they had already put in the order and the designer had already begun making my dress. I understood that and was disappointed with the loss of money as the venue for my wedding also refused to refund me. However, I did not receive my dress until late 2021 and when I did, the boutique had forgotten to include my cape in the shipment. They said they would be willing to send it to me afterwards but at that point I was already being moved to Korea. I've been in Korea for a year since my last correspondence with the boutique and I will be here for a lot longer so I can't afford to have the cape shipped in a realistic time frame. I have very little hope that I will be able to recoup even half of the money that I paid. Anyway the vibes are good in the shop but don't expect to be well taken care of. They took my measurements during my initial visit and yet the dress didn't arrive custom to my measurements, it was a generic size and extremely long. Luckily that helped me sell it and I ended up selling it for about half of what it cost because it was so out of season. read more

I made an appointment for Chic Parisien despite the negative reviews from other disappointed Bride-to-Be's. Seeing as Chic Parisien only carries dresses from the finest designers, I really thought I would be getting that "Say Yes To The Dress" experience here. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My mother, sister in laws, and maid of honor were crammed into a tiny dressing room. I had originally imagined me getting into the gown on my own and going to for the big reveal, but my party sat through the entire thing in the fitting room with me. It was so crammed and hot that I was sweating. The lady who helped us out was very nice, but very soft spoken-- in fact, we barely even spoke. While she pulled dresses that I might like (one I really loved from a designer I had gone to try on), she didn't really put much effort into anything and kind of just slipped me from one dress to the next. It wasn't particularly unpleasant, just not the enthusiastic, fun, memorable kind of experience I was looking for. No champagne, no laughs... Just a really dull experience. The dress I really liked was given a thumbs down by my party. I already had an appointment elsewhere in an hour, so I decided to leave dressless and return t get it if it was still on my mind. I'm glad I did that because for the price, the dress just wasn't enough. All-in-all, I found that my experience here was dull and lifeless. I left pretty discouraged, thinking that maybe it really wasn't like how it was on tv. However, now that I have found and purchased my dress elsewhere (Bijou Bridal just down the street), I have to say that YES. It is like how it is on tv. There is champagne, there is a bell you ring to say YES, there are lovely ladies that laugh and smile and have a great time with you and your party while you try on dresses. I bought a Berta wedding dress for my daughter, that i paid over $8,000.00, the service was ok, i had no choice , couldn't find anyone else who sells Berta dresses in my area. we cancelled the wedding , when i was diagnosed with cancer, we pick up the dress a couple of months later. when i was finally cancer free , my daughter tried on the dress , was way to long need it alteration. The owner and sellers had the audacity to insinuate, that i did't buy my dress there, and because they have a new computer system they couldn't find my account. They wanted to charge me $800.00 to do alteration on an over price dress, that never got a final fitting. I would had pay the $800, but the attitude of these people, was too much for me. I bought my dress here and I loved it. My friends loved it. My family loved it. Strangers loved it. That being said, it was a Romona, and it was Romona we loved, not necessarily Chic Parisien. I read the reviews before I went in, so maybe I was expecting it, but I got it. Definitely a little bit of a snobby attitude. (And I experienced it during each and every visit to the store.) I just decided to ignore the snobbiness though and it worked for me. They let me try on dress after dress after dress. And I was all over the place. I just didn't know what I wanted. I don't have any idea how many dresses I tried on there. My dress was the last one I tried on though and my associate was very patient and helpful. My dress came in too large, which didn't surprise me because my measurements are weird (I have an athletic build, i.e. I'm pretty straight up and down but thin) and dresses ALWAYS come in too big for me. I tried to warn them when we were ordering my dress, but they ignored my pleas and told me it would be fine. The dress was quite large, but the seamstress did the trick. The dress fit perfectly on my wedding day. The big con of the seamstress: she left an open safety pin inside of my dress. Friends and family members were poked by it a few times during the day when adjusting my bustle. You just expect a little bit more out of a place like this. The seamstresses also only typically work 9-5 on the weekdays. That doesn't work very well for a working woman like myself and it was a big ordeal to do the fittings and they made it seem like I was being a pain for needing to come in the evenings or weekends. I've been following them on Instagram for a very lonnnnng looonnggg time (you can even see me swooning over a dress via the "DM" but not even engaged yet, look at my pic lol ). I first called and made an appointment just a few days of being engaged because a specific designer was doing a trunk show at their boutique. *Do follow their Instagram!!! They are always updating their latest arrivals and notifying their views of their upcoming trunk shows as early as a month in advanced. Im particular about a boutique's social media as it shows that they are keeping up with the latest looks and always great with feedback or questions via their social platform! As soon as we made the appointment, they sent me a special link that allows me to "pin" images they have to get a sense of your likes, the season your getting married and how formal the wedding will be. I'm a very decisive person so I never feared finding "the one", I know what I like, but when it comes to wedding dresses; I love all styles. When making this appointment and at the time I had 17 months to go, I went in there saying "I'm just gonna try whatever catches my I and whatever the bridal stylist suggest based on these basic guidelines: Black Tie Wedding, Fall Season, New Orleans Destination." I have a few more months to play around with dresses till I decide"- I told myself When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the staff. Kendall Huibregtse was the young lady who helped us that day! She dove right in asking me all about the wedding and the personality of my fiancé and I. She was also very kind to my mother and sister who was with me and was always attentive to all of us in the room, not just "The Bride". She began to pull a few silhouettes and I was able to also pull from the current trunk show and marvel at all the dresses. We never felt rushed! We must of tried on 13 dresses and a variety of accessories in just under two hours. Believe it or not the first dress I tried on was a contender the whole way through. Then she decides to bring one more dress... it was THE DRESS. You know that moment everyone talks about? I didn't realize that it actually happens. I was in shock and baffled that the first contender had been possibly beaten. My mother cried for the first time after ALLLLLLL of the others. My sister was between the two, she liked them equally, both were different. Throughout all the trying, we took pictures of our favorites and I'm really glad we did because pictures really helped seal which were the "wow" dresses. I originally went in there thinking I would be trying on dresses for months, so instead of saying "YES" right away, I wanted to go home and think about it. Kendall understood and was so sweet to follow up with me and figure out any future trunk shows for me to go to, but after a couple hours I found myself thinking about only one dress. Then looking at all of my recent pictures, nothing compared to the last dress I tried on. It was THE ONE. Then by the grace of God, the timing of it all couldn't have been more perfect. Not only was my God Mother going to be in town in two weeks, but my Abuela was finishing up her last radiation treatment a week before my aunt got into town. Within a few days, Kendall , had already scheduled me another appointment with a few more guests coming at the end of the month! I had known about their VIP BRIDE appointments, where you can order champagne, macarons, flowers etc. and knew I would make sure this appointment would be stocked! Again another warm welcome and the refreshments were very much enjoyed by my family. My Abuela said a beautiful toast about being here and able to witness the wedding process, not a dry eye in the room! Chic Parisien was the perfect setting for all of it! Kendall and I played the part of "trying on dresses for the first time" with a little fashion show until the "Pièce De Rèsistance"! Then we all cheered, popped more champagne and said "YES TO THE DRESS"!!! I don't understand all the negative reviews, but I had a wonderful experience at Chic Parisien. I have been to a few bridal salons and wasn't able to find a dress that fits my personality. I saw a couple dresses on their Instagram and knew this was the salon for me. I wanted something sexy and different (and where better to find that, but MIAMI!!) I had Nicole as my consultant. I came in with a mission to find a gown. She was AH-mazing! Suchhhh a doll!! She was friendly, understanding and knew exactly what I was looking for. I am not a sentimental or sensitive person, but I was looking forward to trying on wedding dresses. I knew it was an experience that I would remember, a memory I would have long after the dress hung dusty in the back of my closet. While this turned out to be true, I was left with a different sort of memory, one that I wish I could forget. My experience at Chic Parisien was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in any establishment to date. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted me with what I will (generously) describe as indifference. After a few moments, she introduced me to Lucy. Oh, I do not love Lucy. Lucy asked about my budget. I told her I'd rather spend less than more. Her tone seemed to sour and then curdle as she led me to the dresses. As I started pulling out the designs that stood out to me, she remarked over and over about them bring "outside my price range" which would have been helpful had they not been stated with such disdain. While trying on the dresses, Lucy was aggressive, combative, and downright unprofessional which would have been awkward even if I wasn't standing there in my birthday suit. I wish I could find this comical, but it was so uncomfortable that I debated storming out of the dressing room naked which I believe is illegal. At one point, I even tried to agree with a statement she'd made earlier, just to smooth over her sour mood. She immediately began arguing against the very point she'd made moments before. This led me to wonder if Lucy had more than one Lucy within her. I decided to cut my losses and cut my appointment short. As I thanked her for her time, she informed me: "If you're going anywhere else around here, just know they're all Chinese dresses..." I told her I was rather a fan of the Chinese and Lucy seemed surprised. (To be fair, the other Lucy within her might be fonder of our Asian brethren). I ended up buying the very dress I would have purchased at Chic Parisien, but from an establishment that treated me like something other than a curdled turd. I found this particularly interesting as Lucy claimed that my dress could only be found at Chic Parisien. As many of the negative reviews center around Lucy, I can only conclude that Chic Parisien is well aware of Lucy's behavior. The only explanations I can fathom are that Lucy is the owner's mother-in-law (and is thus indispensable) or that the owner of Chic Parisien simply does not care about its customers. I can't say enough how amazing my experience at Chic Parisien was! I went to this shop specifically looking for a particular designer and with a pretty clear idea of the style I wanted. I was actually interested in one dress that I had seen at a trunk show in a different city and they were very helpful via email even before my actual appointment. From the moment you walk in you get such a great vibe from this shop. The decor is beautiful and it just feels like a very unique and special bridal shop. I was greeted by the owner and she introduced me to my stylist, Lucy. Lucy was incredible. She has been with the shop for 40 years, so something told me she was going to know a thing or two about what I needed. I had already sent over a picture of the dress I was using as inspiration and she had it printed out, which I really liked because it let me know she had looked ahead and thought about my interests in advance. She picked out the most exquisite collection of dresses for me to try on. Lucy was honest with me about styles and because she knew what I was looking for, she also offered ideas and ways to make subtle changes to something so that I could get what I wanted. I didn't even know you could customize things like sleeves, for example, so having her there to tell me that was beyond helpful. I probably would have said no to certain dresses if it wasn't for her tips. I ultimately found my dream dress with perfect amount of femininity, elegance, and that WOW factor everyone talks about. I got to celebrate with a glass of champagne along side my mother and Lucy made it very clear that once I purchased that dress, I was also getting her assistance for whatever I needed throughout the process. Loved my experience here! This was my very first appointment and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kendall was our stylist and she was amazing! She greeted us and immediately offered us some champagne. It was a great way start to my dress shopping adventure. I had a specific style and designer in mind. She brought all the dresses I asked for plus one that she wanted me to try. Although, it was a bit different than what I wanted I decided to try it on. I fell in love!! I went to other stores then came back to Chic Parisien and had Kendall pull out more dresses similar to the one she picked out. She really knew what would look good on me and what I loved after trying on different styles. My mom bought her dress here almost 30 years ago and I'm happy to say I did too! read more

I found Chic Parisien on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their amazing selection of the best designers! I worked with Kendall who was an absolute dream from the very beginning. She is kind, very sweet, super easy to talk with and unbelievably knowledgeable about all of their designers. Katherine at the front desk was just as fabulous, as well as the seamstress Gloria! The three of them working as a team helped me pick out my dream wedding dress and gave me the fairy tale wedding dress shopping experience I had hoped for. I had an absolutely amazing experience shopping for my wedding dress at Chic Parisian! Hands down the best shop in the area. Kati is so fun, professional, and has the BEST taste! I told her my style and vision and she immediately brought me 6-8 dresses- all of which I absolutely loved. Chic was my first stop, and I visited 3 other bridal shops that week as well. I ended up choosing one of the first dresses Kati brought in and I couldn't be more in love with it. I highly recommend Chic, and if possible, do yourself a favor and ask for Kati! read more

Brides beware! My experience is that they will say anything they need to in order to make a sale. I cannot say for sure if Alana is a liar or if she just has no memory of her clients, but I should have ordered my Maria Elena headpiece straight from the designers website - I would have saved a few hundred dollars instead of giving my money to this crooked business that charges more than the designer and refuses to grant a refund for the difference. read more

Nicole was absolutely amazing today! We didn't have an appointment but they got us right in! We loved all the Berta trunk show dresses and found the perfect wedding gown! The shop is clean, everyone is friendly and the champagne and water make this a fabulous place to shop for the perfect gown! It was much nicer than other shops we had been. read more
