Im so incredibly upset! There was very good reviews which is why I chose this place. The price i got charged to alter my dress, take it up & out was insane. When i was supposed to pick it up the day before the wedding, the straps were falling off cuz it was taken out, she had to now tighten the straps. Now the dress wouldn't be ready til next morning literally before I had to leave for wedding. Was in such a rush, had to drive 2 1/2 hrs there, tried it on so fast. Well this place is a huge disappointment. Thought we would great work done here. Well NO not at all my husband sport jacket wasn't ready when promised. Then when he did go pick it up because it was ready, you can tell the rushed the job and one of the buttons were missing on each arm. Something they never said they would need to do. They handed the jacket to him without a hanger or bag (we brought it into them with a hanger and bag). Anyway will never go back here. Do not bring your stuff to this lady if you have a deadline. Unfortunately what everyone says is true: horrible customer service(told me to come at 3 and then had me waiting outside when I called her she even had the nerve to say yea i know you're there no apology) and I brought a dress to be made into a skirt it took her TWO MONTHS! Finally I got fed up one day and said I'm coming for my skirt today. Everytime I called she gave me an excuse as to why it's not done. One time I came and she had done the wrong alteration! Excellent work though if you have the patience to deal with chasing someone down like they're paying you instead of the other way around. I only stuck it out because I had already paid half the bill in advance. But after waiting two months, several failed visits where I was told it wasnt ready or come back later(or the wrong thing was done) I would expect it to be free or at least the price cut or some type of discount on my next visit but nope she overcharged me(by $2 but still it's the principle!)and told me I can't try it on because of corona call her if it doesn't fit. Some okay experiences and one truly terrible one. Went to get a dress altered for a family wedding I would be standing up in. Dress was far from perfect with alterations appearing to be rushed with exposed interior lines and done on one side. Stated my dissatisfaction at the time and was told nothing could be done because the owner didn't have time. Sadly I had dropped this off well in advance and she knew the date of the wedding. At home when showing family who noted that there were repairs that could be done another family member called and was told not to bother coming back because she couldn't do anything. After returning to the shop the owner told my boyfriend to wait outside and not come back on after he pointed out the poor quality of the initial work and poor customer service. Begrudgingly she did some additional repairs even after saying previously nothing could be done and not to bother returning. The owners attitude and rushed nature means I won't be returning and have lost trust in her ability to do a quality job when it counts. I'm now left with a damaged dress that was altered twice in poor fashion. read more
