How amazing is this place? VERY! Extremely unique and an amazing assortment of treasures. I'm a…read morehuge vintage fan and finding this place was definitely a treat. The ambiance is great, the owner is extremely sweet and helpful, and you'll be sure to leave with a smile on your face. They don't just sell any old vintage stuff, they sell some of the best vintage stuff I've come across! Whether it's a vintage designer outfit or a vintage story book, they don't just sell any ol' stuff. Belts, accessories, books, frames, clothing, shoes, etc. You can tell everything was carefully selected by the owner before putting it on display, which makes it all the more special. You'll leave this place wanting to buy everything, even the things you can't wear or don't need. There's a fantasy-like and historical appeal to the place. There's a small section of the store that has some great non vintage stuff too. I strongly suggest this little gem to anyone who is an avid vintage shopper or just looking for something special and unique.

Founded in the fall of 2009 the Rabbit Hole is located across the street from City Hall. There is plenty of free street parking available. According to the Rabbit Hole they specialize in clothing and accessories from the "50's-80's with some older and newer things sprinkled in". Every vintage piece of clothing is hand picked. They also offer new clothing and jewelry. A small display in the front of the store held china and glass ware. In addition to the small store they also sell online with a selection of new clothes. When I walked into the store my first thought was that I wished this was how my closet looked. Everything was so artfully arranged. The New Times has listed the Rabbit Hole as one of the best vintage stores in Miami. I almost left with a brown leather bag for $100 but I just couldn't justify the expense right now. Whether shopping or just browsing this is a fun stop to make.

It was so stuffy, it was actually difficult to breathe. I'm very aware we were in Miami and I am very aware of how hot Miami is; I live in this state for goodness sakes, but I don't think it should be more miserable in the store than outside in the shade. The store is dirty and not at all organized. It's difficult to find anything and very difficult to move around in. I felt like I had been packed into a sardine can. We made our way to the back of the store and I had enough of the "coziness" so it was time to leave. I was just way too crowded in. If you have trouble with closed spaces and being to close to people, this is absolutely NOT the store for you. I didn't interact with anyone who worked in the store other than the security guard at the front when we were leaving. He was very kind and gave a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. It was really pleasant speaking with him (darn it, I always forget names). Accessibility: Navigating this store easily in a wheelchair... absolutely not. I mean, it can be done, but it is difficult as the aisles are very small. Even the main aisles from the front to the back of the store are very small. Accommodating to my Service Dog.

PROTIP: Vixon, Addict and Kore are all owned by the same people. Meaning, if you see something you…read morelike at one but not in your size, check the other two! If you ask nicely, they might even call their sister store and have them check so you don't have to make the schlep. Super cute little boutique tucked away in a questionable part of Biscayne blvd but with very affordable, trendy items. Sidenote: The employee at this store was fabulous! Very helpful and practically put together my NYE outfit for me by offering suggestions that went beyond the clothing she sold and as far as shoes, necklace, hair etc. WIN!

They have everything to complete the outfit too, with lots of cute accessories. The sales girls are always very friendly and helpful, but for my taste, a little pushy. I like someone to be around should I need their help, but not making constant suggestions to sell more. I know how to ask if I have a question. Since at least 5 different sales girls have the same manner, I'm guessing the store owners encourage this. They also don't have mirrors inside the dressing rooms, which forces the customer to come out to the mirror in the store. Then, wanted or not, the sales person comes over to make suggestions if you are on the fence about liking the outfit or not. Maybe it's just me. I prefer to be left alone for the most part and ask for help if needed. The store does have fabulous clothes though, so the sales techniques that make me uncomfortable are a small price to pay.
