Frank is the best he does out standing work for a reasonable price old school my go to Joe Rosa read more

Great work, fast turnaround time, good prices. Frank is the real deal, one of the few old school tailors left who knows what he's doing.

Living in Hialeah the majority of my life, how I only found out about Frank's Tailor Shop last night is a legitimate mystery to me. You see, it started like this. I bought a pair of pants online about a month ago. Of course, this in itself is an anomaly as I rarely wear them, opting instead for dresses, skirts, and even shorts! I finally chose to wear them for the first time yesterday, and of course, the fates were against me and somehow after an impromptu trip to Trader Joe's, I saw a rip at the bottom of my pants as I was at a restaurant slowly and surely waiting for some pho. I wanted to cry. Do you know how hard it is to find pants I actually like? I have no idea how it happened, but my guess is the rain and the heels just didn't help. Needless to say, as I slurped mightily on some pho, I Googled, I Yelped, I searched like a madwoman. These pants were going to be saved! I found Frank's, and well, I decided to go the very next day. Effectively, going in, it's like going into a shop full of random knickknacks, unsure where to even start. I said my good morning as no one was up front and immediately I was heard and attended by Frank, whom I later found out is the descendent of the original. Apparently this business has been around for nearly fifty years! Again, how did I not know about this place especially given the proximity to my aunt's house? That said, I showed and explained what happened. He was very sympathetic, took my pants, and within five minutes, voilà! Good as new. You could hardly tell. I had to search long and hard to find the stitch. Given it was such a minor thing, he didn't even charge me. I was legitimately flabbergasted. You don't find this type of kindness or work every day. I had been on the hunt for a new seamstress/tailor for the past few years, and well, needless to say, they have a new customer in me. I'm going to search around (as I'm sure I have clothes lying around needing repair) and give them all my business. They do simple alterations all the way to complicated things like wedding dresses and suits. read more

I found this place on Yelp, as I was driving nearby. Parking is very limited. Private parking lot in front but about 6 spaces total, which is shared with other businesses. 3 pieces of clothing alterations for $31 total. Frank's been in this business for a long time and great at it. I didn't have a problem with his customer service, but I can see how potential clients can be disappointed with first meets. Only downside for me is that he didn't call me when my items were done. I called about 6 days later to confirm if things were ready, despite him telling me he would call (which is the norm at tailor shops). Open 9AM - 4:30PM Closed Wednesday's read more

I have always had in issue buying denim jean that fit because I always have to buy a larger waist size to fit my thighs. Well I was looking for a tailor in my area on Yelp , after trying out a few others that I was not particularly pleased with, and I came across Frank's shop. I brought in a pair of denim jeans and two pairs of denim shorts to have the waist taken in. The entire process was pretty quick. I tried them on, frank pinned them, and I was provided with a ticket to pick up my jeans when they were ready. I received a call a little over a week later that they were ready for pick up. When I arrived home and tried them on, I was amazed at how perfectly they fit, and how undetectable the alteration is (well except that the thread that was used is a little lighter than the threading on the rest of the jeans but you can barely notice it). I would highly recommend Frank for any alterations you may need! I will definitely be coming back soon. read more

EXCELLENT TAILOR; THE BEST IN MIAMI. I had been to 2 other tailors who couldn't do what I needed or took my cash and didn't do the work--its Miami.. but I came to Frank and he told me why other tailors would have difficulty doing what I needed. Then told me how he'd do it, he did it, and charged an excellent price. The work was done beautifully. The gentleman is a 2nd generation tailor who's been a master tailor for decades himself. He knows what he's doing and works on menswear, formalwear, and women's garments. Higher quality than many Bal Harbor or NYC Midtown tailors, at excellent and very reasonable prices. Grab everything you wanted tailored and bring it in at the same time. read more

Great service. Fast. I called Friday morning on my way to work telling him what I wanted done to my pants. He welcomed me in and finished my pants by Saturday morning. They fit exactly how I wanted them too. Highly recommend you giving his business a try. read more

Not much to add to the glowing reviews. Great work. He obviously has many loyal customers.

Frank's Tailor Shop has been my families tailor since before I was born....actually my family has been using its services for so long my grandfather used this tailor shop back in 1978.... yes, that is how long my family has been going to Frank's! Heck I remember as a child coming to the store and getting my pants tailored. The service is wonderful....they care about the work they do and their customers. I mean this is a family business. I came by because I needed 4 pairs of pants tailored....for it tailored for $8 for each pair....which is a good price. Since he knew I drove from Homestead because he is our family tailor..:he had my pants tailored in one hour! Like I said great service....this is why my family have been loyal customers for decades and why I still make the trip from Exit 2 Homestead to Hialeah. Frank's is the best! read more

I'm new to Miami and I didn't know anyone who could tailor my skirt. A coworker recommended them so I went to check it out. As soon as I walk through the door, a man with the most welcoming smile was quick to assist me. I told him what I needed and he said "I close at 5 but I'll try my best to have it done." I told him that it's no pressure to finish it today but he said "I'll see what I can do". Less than an hour later he calls me and tells me that my skirt is ready for pick up! It looks GREAT . Great work, great attitude, and great business! I'll most definitely be back. read more

Best and affordable it's a nice and pretty historical place it's been around for more then 50 years

Frank is AWESOME!! I came to get a pair of jeans tailored on the inseam and the length. They came out PERFECT!! Not only was the quality great, but his pricing is beyond reasonable. I expected that it would take some time until my pants were ready but they were done, if not the next day then, the day after. So fast yet the quality work is amazing. I see what the hype is about. Frank's personality and customer service is top tier! He's professional and super friendly and makes it seem as if you've known him for years. My expectations were exceeded. I'm so glad I found this place. Out of all the tailors I've tried, Frank is the best. I highly recommend his services and I will continue to use them! read more

Disgusting attitude and customer service. Could be an expert at alterations but horrible at speaking to customers. I was a potential new client walked in w a large amount of items. He exceeded my expectations and fixed everything, quickly, affordably, and we had lots of great chat while I was there!
