Alex has been absolute blessing. I went to him for my wedding dress alterations and he went above and beyond. He completely tailored my dress until it fit me perfectly and even made modifications as the wedding got closer. He also worked on my moms dress and my aunts. I had to buy a reception dress the week before and Alex worked on that so quickly and even added this gorgeous detailing to the front to make the dress sparkle. I will always recommend him moving forward for any article of clothing. read more

Remy Tailor is the best Miami has to offer. Alex is so talented and will work with you to create the look you want. He will also tell you if he doesn't think your idea will look good. I appreciated the honesty, and in the end he was right! The alterations he did to my mother-of-the-bride dress were amazing. Received so many compliments. He is so professional and friendly. Don't hesitate to call him the next time you need a tailor. You won't be sorry! read more

I had just brought a brand new pair of pants and was super excited to wear them to work and show them off. While I was running an errand nearby, I squatted to get into my car and suddenly heard the sound of a mega rip down the inside of my pants...... super embarrassing!!!!! Lucky for me I had my phone and started yelping nearby tailors. Remy Tailor populated as the first option, I decided to test my luck, called the number and a very polite and helpful man named Alex(the owner) picked up and saved the day! He quickly offered to help me and invited me over to fix my dilemma. To my luck again, Alex turned out to be a few blocks from where I was driving. When I entered his establishment I was impressed by how clean, organized and beautiful his operation was. Alex was like my fairy tailor that day and fixed my pants in less than five minutes. I was very impressed and highly recommend his services. He is a professional and it shows in his shop. One can immediately tell that he is highly gifted in his trade. A dying breed! Very glad to have a local tailor that's good, accessible, reliable and good.

I needed to shorten dress - they just chopped hem, was uneven with loose stitching, price is too high, quality is horrible, dress was ruined. read more

The best tailor you will ever find. Alex is the best. Alterations are done to perfection.

This review has been way overdue but more than worthy to provide for the owner of his business of Remy Tailor, Alex. I have the pleasure of knowing Alex and his boutique tailor company for close to 20 years. When I first got introduced to his shop I began taking some sports related jerseys I was wanting to have fit me a little better and I was impressed with the work he did. Over the last 19 years I have brought Alex numerous pieces of my wardrobe including pants, jeans, night jackets, suits, and tuxedos. Alex has even been able to customize for me at least 30 caps which I needed to fit cause the cap store didnt have it available in my size. The most noteworthy and highest recognition I can say is that Alex has made a number of unique customized pieces for me including four (4) military customized jackets as well as customized shirts with unique patches I had purchased and the quality of the work was top notch! Whenever I wear my "special project" items he created I always receive the highest compliments and people wanting to know where did I buy the items. I have told Alex over the years "You are the Wizard that makes me look my best"- whether it is in my business suits or after hours..." Beyond Alex' incredible technical expertise / knowledge that is beyond mastery, his professionalism, charisma, down to earth nature and willingness to help is part of the special experience you will receive and he will find a way to make one's fashion ideas come true. Without hesitation I recommend that you setup an appt. With Alex of Remy Tailor to be your special tailor like he has been for me all these years. I am very proud to not only be his client but also as a very good friend. You will be highly satisfied with Alex' services and I wish him continued success with his top quality of work and attention to detail.... Sincerely, Felix S. read more

Five stars!! Very professional, quick, convenient, and easy! 10/10 would definitely recommend for your alterations.

I needed someone that could tailor my suit for my wedding and could do it fast. The sleeves were big on me and the pants, too long. I found Alex through Yelp and had an amazing experience. He went out of his way to see me outside of his working hours, immediately recognized what needed to be altered, quoted me a reasonable price, and had the suit back to be very fast. He truly is a professional and does fantastic work. I will be using his services again in the future. read more

I've gone here all my life for my tailoring needs. They recently tailored my $70 wedding dress and made it look like 1,000 bucks. Alex is super friendly and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Remy Tailor. read more

I've was a customer of Remy#1 while the shop was hidden in a mini-strip, and now of the current proprietor. He's a fantastic tailor; honest, fairly priced and an all around lovely man! You cannot do better in Mismi! read more

Great family run business. Alterations done on time as promised and done correctly. Family brunch. Convenient parking. Saturday hours too. Ooops. I meant to leave this for Julca Tailor. My bad. Have not used Remy but I've heard good things and I can't remove this review. read more

I'm one of those guys who for the longest time bought clothes without much regard for fit. It looks good on the rack, the size is what I usually buy, so everything good, right? Wrong! Fit is perhaps the most important part of the clothes. So one day I decided all of these jeans and pants I would relegate to the dark ends of my closet were still good, they just needed to fit better. Everyone's professional here, but it's kinda no frills. If you take a sample and ask them to alter it they'll nail it every single time. They always quote me a week to get it done, which is fine for me. They saved me tons of money by making clothes I already have fit perfectly, many jeans and slacks. So while it is a bit on the pricey side, I'm willing to pay because it's still many times cheaper than buying new clothes. Recommended! read more

The best tailor in town. Alex will get you what you need and can be trusted with all alterations big and small.

During a gala event, I suffered a wardrobe malfunction... yes, those that left you speechless in front of a bunch a strangers. Long story short, I was able to graciously exit the venue without any scratch. My really beautiful dress needed help pronto, and my boss recommended me Remy Tailor. Kind of far since I live in North Miami Beach, but totally worthy because they left my expensive dress just like new. When I went to pick it up, it needed some final adjustments, and they did it on the spot. I highly recommend Alex and his team of skilled seamstress. read more

Finding a tailor you can trust is a real challenge, especially in Miami. Alex is a real gem and knows his craft. Talented, kindhearted, and just an overall pleasure to work with every visit. I've had trousers and shorts taken in, sleeves and belts shortened, suits nipped here and tucked there, and without exception he's always done excellent work. I've even taken him bomber jackets and other tricky garments to work on, and he's found creative and tasteful solutions to make every piece look great. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Fantastic service. The reviews speak for themselves. Alex is an absolute professional in every sense of the word. I purchased a couple of suit jackets I needed to have that weren't available in my size. Upon researching extensively, I landed on Alex due to multiple recommendations as well as every review I read. I put complete trust in him with my valued pieces, he delivered flawlessly. I would highly recommend..I will gladly be back for more. The 5 stars are there for a reason, look no further! read more

I love Remy Tailor by Alex! Alex did the alterations on my wedding dress and was so great and helped me remember that it's MY day and no one else's. He did a spectacular job with my dress and helped me with my other accessories. I went to him because of the other amazing reviews and I knew I had to leave one myself. Thank you Alex! I feel beautiful with my dressss! read more

After I commented earlier that my mother fixed the dress more effectively so I could actually zip it up, the zipper completely broke two hours later when trying to zip it back up and needed to be held up with tape and pins. Later when I tried to take it off it was stuck at the top of the zipper (I don't know if it was a poor quality zipper or what but I did not have this problem even when it was too tight) and my husband literally had to cut through the zipper with a scissors so I could take it off. Then instead of appearing at all apologetic to my previous comment he responded to my previous honest review by saying I was too fat to fit into the dress, and that it zipped up fine on the mannequin. That's strange since it didn't "zip up fine" when it was just hanging on the hanger. read more

HAHAHA!!! This Alex tailor who took over the Remy's shop is a complete joke! Went to this guy and he wanted to charge me $48 just to shorten the sleeves of my shirt and another $70 to hem my pants. Needless to say, I went somewhere else right away. This small hole in the wall sewing shop is located in a cheap strip mall - not on the Champs-Élysées!! It was also funny as two customers I know who have their clothes ruined at this ''high end boutique place'', shared a similar unpleasant experience. ********STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE***** read more

I was looking for someone to alter a bridesmaid dress and I highly recommend this business! Alex was able to come to my house the same day I called him to do my measurements and pick up the dress. The best Tailor you would ever find in South Florida!!!!! Alex listen's and when the product is finish it is on points

My son performed at a ballroom gala on Sunday afternoon. Assuming they would fit, we tried on his pants on Saturday at 2pm (the day before) and it was not good. My wife immediately called Remy Tailor and Alex asked us to come in right away. Mind you, they close at 4pm. After taking my son's measurements, Alex asked us to return in 45 minutes....the pants were ready in 40 mins. Not only is the quality of work always on point, the professionalism and service are excellent. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Wonderful experience for a last minute (I'm talking 24 hours) dress hemming for a wedding. Very reasonable considering the time crunch and intricacy of the dress material ($60 I believe). I will definitely be going back. read more
