Rude, Snotty, and FAR from thorough are the first words that come to mind. Dr Lorio acted bothered when I asked in depth questions surrounding the very peel she recommended, and told me she doesn't do peels, so I would need to talk to her assistant. Did she direct me to her assistant? No, she told me to make an appointment and sent me on my way. I was shocked by how uppity a so called "professional" would treat a patient. A horrible unprofessional experience. Won't be going back EVER! read more

My review for this business can be found on my blog. DO NOT go to these doctors, or any of their offices. http://www.alittleblueberry.com/2011/10/life-after-life.html read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Tyler Moss yesterday. Fantastic! He was RIGHT ON TIME, capable and personable. Definitely will return.

I do believe in miracles! I have been to 8 doctors in 5 years and NO ONE could find out what was wrong with my skin. With only one visit and blood work with Courtney A. Cahill, PA-C a solution was found!!! A miracle!!! I have lupus, something I was never tested for in the past. I was put on a "new" to me medication and my skin began to clear. Courtney suggested I see a specialist for my lupus. The specialist said "Your lucky to have had her put you on these meds already. Most patients don't go on that until they come to me". I knew I had found a winner in Courtney. I highly recommend Courtney and this practice! From the time you sign-in until the time you leave you are treated with respect, kindness and you caring. I hope you skip the first 8 doctors and go to Courtney A. Cahill, PA-C I know you will be happy you did. read more

Dr. Pehoushek has great upbeat energy, is candid as well as funny. He is punctual and the biggest bonus is that he is intent in my wound healing properly. AFTER care following a procedure may be the most neglected aspect in medicine. Dr. Pehoushek is the only professional with whom this concept registers when compared to four other practitioners I've dealt with over the last 13 months. read more

I have no clue why the reviews for this office are so crappy. I go to Dr. Pehoushek. He doesn't try to convince me to buy creams, serums, etc. His exams are quick but he's thorough. It's never a long wait, he recommends an option at a time, and he makes sure it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg. He's seriously the best dermatologist I've ever been to. read more

Commenting for Zaidee Bode. Excellent customer service. A very kind and compassionate staff. Appreciate their gentle approach and highly recommend them. read more

I don't have to go to the dermatologist often, but every time I do see Dr. Pehoushek I leave saying to myself, "i need to tell everyone I know about this doc - he's the best!". Dr. Pehoushek is personable, knowledgeable, and fast. I don't think I've ever actually waited in their waiting room (I'm called back before I even have a chance to finish updating my info on the patient forms), and all of my questions are always answered sensitively with a proactive treatment plan. I also appreciate that he doesn't make you come back for minor procedures - everything I've needed has been done at the time of the consultation appointment. Also, just love that they are on Zocdoc so I can make my appointments even if their office is closed. read more

Dr Iorio was great. Scheduling was a breeze through Zocdoc. New patient paperwork was only 2 pages and easy to fill out. Overall a great experience! read more

I called to make an appointment and before saying hello they took my all my insurance information. I showed up for my appointment and they handed me paperwork, on which they had typed in my insurance information that I provided via phone. I sat down to complete the paperwork and the receptionist said "actually it looks like the doctor we scheduled you with isn't contracted with your insurance". My options were pay the cash price or come back another day. So frustrating that this place wasted my time. read more

Been seeing Dr P for a number of years. There's seldom a wait of more than 10 minutes either in the waiting room or the exam room. The doctor's skill, professionalism are excellent. And his personality and sense of humor almost make the freezing and whittling a breeze. read more

So Channel 3 News was reporting that this company was performing free skin cancer exams from 7 am to 11 am at Desert Ridge, and there was no indication that one had to call and schedule an appointment. I drove 45 minutes across the valley to take advantage of this offer. I show up around 10:15 am to be told they are no longer accepting walk-ins. Well, that would have been nice to know before making the trip over here. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. read more

Do not go to this place they charge a New Patient fee if you haven't been in a few years. I had seen Dr. P several times but was charged a $172.00 new patient fee and wasn't told about up front. read more

This place was awful, the doctor was rude and seemed upset that I was asking about skin irritations and asked her to look at moles. She took maybe one whole minute to look at me and left. The price was outrageous, they really only care about money, that's what this place is about. Taking your money. They prescribed a shampoo that cost around $120 and a cream that was $20 and said on it that it hasn't been tested to know if it causes cancer. So to clear up an irritation I may get cancer? That's dumb. I read many reviews about how bad this place was and against my better judgement decided to go here because they had won awards in some magazine. Obviously the awards were not legit or paid for or given as a gesture for something. read more

Saw Dr. P on 10/27 (without an appointment!) because a pimple in my eyebrow had ballooned up into a third eyeball, with very red swelling of the left eye. I wouldn't be needing a Halloween mask this year. After his skillful (and virtually pain free) work, I left with an RX in hand. By 10/31, my face had completely returned to PRETTY again! And this isn't the first time Dr. P has saved my butt - I LOVE DR. P!!! Great bedside manner too - makes me laugh when I'm at my most ugly. read more

Dr Moss was great. Listened and answered all my questions. I normally hate the annual derm check but I was seen on time and it was as pleasant as can be expected. Highly recommend! read more

I researched Dermatologists in my area and liked the reviews for this office. So I recently was seen by Dr. Pehoushek who yes, was punctual (and in between his yawning) funny however that's about as much as I can say. He was SO RUSHED that he kept forgetting why I was there. So rushed that I had to firmly request that he check my scalp; He didn't complete reviewing the options for treatment of my pre-cancerous facial lesion, causing me to have to contact his office again to get a Rx for cream which by the way ended up to be......get this...$1000!!!!! WHAT??? Well, hey, his office did offer to give me a $30 rebate, so I shouldn't complain, right? The list of problems just continues..including the fact that I just got a denial letter from my insurance for use of this medication...get this...for the wrong diagnosis!!!!! Come ON!!!! For this I was charged a $90 co-pay..... So my search for a good Dermatologist continues..... read more

Dr. P has been our family dermatologist for many years. He's knowledgeable, trustworthy and darn funny. He makes the experience much less stressful. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Moss was super great to work with! After randomly getting a face rash/eczema skin condition on my face while on vacation, Dr. Moss was quick to diagnose and get me back on my way! He was super courteous and wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of. Not only that, but because of his quick diagnosis, I was able to get my face back to normal and enjoy the rest of my break! I would highly recommend him! read more

I brought my 9 year old daughter in for some issues with her skin on her face. Although Courtney Cahill, PA was very gentle and caring with my daughter I will be canceling our follow up and not returning! Even with excellent health care coverage they charge $172 just to walk in the front door. And we didn't even see a MD, who knows how high the bill would have been if we saw a Dr!! Of course they say nothing about this while checking out at the counter so they don't have to deal with the customers face to face. They just wait and send the statement in the mail. When I called to question the charge the woman said "Sorry there was nothing she could do." They are obviously owned by a corporation who is all about gouging the consumer. --Heidi R. read more

I am a very active 22 year old college student who has struggled with a skin condition on my feet for years. I would never remove my socks or walk around barefoot because I was too embarrassed. I even hid my feet in the sand during a trip to Cancun because it was so bad. I moved to AZ a few months ago and found myself wanting to wear sandals everyday, but didn't because I was, again, too embarrassed. I can't tell you how many lotions/creams/home remedies I've tried over the years. None of which helped. I finally caved and decided to find a Doctor in AZ that would help me. That's when I found Dr. Pehoushek. He was a very energetic and funny individual who actually seemed to care about my well being. It was a comforting experience. He didn't just say "oh, try this" or "it'll go away just give it time". He actually took his time. It's been about a week since I saw him and my feet are almost 100% clear. I seriously can't thank him enough for helping me. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I can finally wear sandals on campus!! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Pehoushek for almost 11 yrs. Not only do I believe he is a very knowledgeable and professional physician, he cracks me up. He is definitely NOT a stick in the mud or egotistical physician. As a matter of fact besides removing basal cell carcinoma from my throat a few years ago and zapping more than my fair share of pre-cancerous spots, he was the physician that diagnosed my vulva cancer NOT my former gynecologist who was useless. He was thorough, compassionate and put me at ease during a very difficult and confusing time. Dermatologists do not generally do gynecological biopsies but he this doctor stepped up to the plate and saw me through a rough diagnosis and assisted me with finding the correct oncologist for my treatment. Two years ago when my father was dying from melanoma that metastasized to his brain, again Dr. Pehoushek was compassionate and helpful in answering some questions I had. I strongly recommend Dr. P and his staff to anyone who needs a dermatologist. I'm moving out of state soon and have already made it clear that I will be coming home once a year for my annual skin check with Dr. P. read more

Left a message for Stacy who called back very promptly. She and Dr. Pehoushek were able to fit my son in same day to remove a jawline cyst. Another dermatologist had suggested a plastic surgeon due to proximity to nerves. Dr. Pehoushek had no such concerns and quickly and thoroughly removed the cyst. He was professional and personable! My son has other cysts and will not hesitate to go back for his treatment. Since I have a Yelp account he asked me to write the highest recommendation for him. read more

Dr. P is an amazing dermatologist. I have been to several different docs but recommend Dr. P out of everyone. He has an upbeat energetic personality and helps you to feel confident that treatment will work. He definitely saved my skin! I have had a considerable amount of ridiculous insurance issues but dr p and his medical assistant Carmen always stay on top of it and help me to get my prescription as soon as I can. There seems to be good communication between the two and Carmen always gets back to me promptly with questions I have. read more

I purchased a Dealchicken deal for this business. The "Deal" was for 4 chemical peels, a full-body skin check and $25% off products. I went for my 1st peel and the skin check. I have had chemical peels before, but this was so painful. The "Dermatologist" was rubbing this solution all over my face, with something that felt like sandpaper; especially on my forehead. It was so painful, I had to ask her to stop. It finally calmed down, and she told me to put on this moisturizer, when the pain got back to "under 5". The whole "peel" took about 5 minutes. She did the skin check, which also took about 5 minutes. She "shot" some spray onto a spot on my arm, that also hurt very much. I have had that done before, but remember my dermatologist in CA wiping the spot with something local to numb it, before spraying it, and letting you know this was going to happen. I would not say that they skin check was thorough, at all. When I left, the receptionist told me that she was too busy to schedule the second peel, so it would be best if I called in at a later time. I will not be going back for my remaining peels. The peel was also so harsh on my face, especially my forehead, and I peeled for days. Again, this was not anything like peels I have had in the past. My guess is that once they had your money, they wanted to discourage you from returning, and for the 15 minutes that they spent on me, they reaped a pretty good profit from my $150, Some 'Deals" are not deals, at all. I have documented this to DealChicken, but I don't know if they can help at all. Beware! read more

Went here to get a cyst removed that had grown overnight, in the middle of my face. I called at around 8:30 am and they were able squeeze me (no pun intended) in the same day at 10. Everyone in the office was very nice and easy to work with, and they got me in with Dr. Susan (I can't remember her last name). Once she came in, she introduced herself and was nothing but kind and courteous. She answered all of my questions and gave me a ton of information, and immediately told me how she planned to treat it. She got right to work and drained all of the fluid from my face, and explained what she was doing step-by-step. Throughout the entire procedure, she was very compassionate toward me and tried to make it as comfortable as possible. She suggested a check-up about a week from then and I accepted. Everything went very smooth..considering how my face looked, I consider them life-savers and will definitely come back here. read more
