    This is the WORST moving company I've ever dealt with hands down!!!! STAY AWAY!!! All city moving Is the third party contracted by Direct Buy to deliver furniture purchased through their site. Here's my personal experience with their service. The driver and delivery people are not trained properly and don't know how to do their job. I paid $300 for delivery of a sofa I bought through direct buy. The delivery people should have known that a 250lb couch would be hard to deliver between just two people (a tall skinny driver and an older biker dude) The driver asked me for help doing his job. I politely declined as I have back problems and he just said: "so do I but I don't bitch about it". Not only was he unprofessional but they damaged the elevator, hall wall and of course scratched the leather of my couch in several spots. A week later The same crew delivered a chest of drawers and dresser I ordered. By then I already submitted a complaint. The driver proceeded to load the dresser on a dolly, which then he proceeded to push down the garage ramp to get to the elevator. Obviously, the box fell off the cart and the dresser cracked, however the driver refused to let me open the boxes and inspect the contents. The driver just said :"my job is to deliver the boxes in good condition I don't care if the contents are. Box looks good to me". Since I refused to sign without reviewing the items, he said, that if I didn't sign he was happy to take them away as he started taking the boxes out my condo. I then agreed to sign just to stop him from taking my furniture away but wrote a big note on the delivery receipt saying "Did NOT allow inspection". After he saw my note he chased me back to my garage yelling angrily that I shouldn't have written that. It was incredibly threatening and I didn't feel safe in my own home for the first time in my life. Of course I filed a second complaint. Eight weeks later my replacement couch was received at their warehouse. After 3 weeks of trying to get them to schedule a delivery and my calls being ignored, they finally called to let me know they would arrive today. They arrived a few hours late as I became used to expecting from them. To make the long story short, the new couch got ruined worse than the first one as one of the delivery folks was no older than 18. I had to hire two construction workers that were on break to give them a hand and it still got ruined. To make things worse, the "friendly" warehouse staff decided to screw a plank of MDF to the bottom of my couch sticking out by 3 inches or so which I noticed once the delivery crew left. The plank was screwed with 5 long metal screws that were coincidentally completely stripped. This is simply malicious and pathetic for a delivery service company to do to their customers or the customers of a third party that hired their services. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES!! Go somewhere else!

    Not only swept up the glass from the microwave they tossed fromthe balcony, but also add their smoked cigarette to it...classy

    I'll let these photos and never responded to text message speak for this company... ZERO STARS DESERVED! Hey Don. Your movers were nice enough to sweep up the glass from my moms microwave door and put it into the microwave after they tossed it off the balcony. The addition of the cigarette was an extra nice touch. Please thank them. **these guys have absolutely zero cares for the people they are supposedly helping. They went out of their way to basically say F you ***

    Completely destroyed desk

    UPDATE 9/12/18: 3 months later and we are still in the process of having our furniture repaired. Our move cost $13,000+ and the cost to repair (or replace the furniture that was totally destroyed) was $14,000+. That is shameful. And it's shameful how NAVL claims has handled our damage and delay claim. Do not use this company. UPDATE 8/6/18: Still, DO NOT RISK your belongings to this company. northAmerican Van Lines is now handling my significant damage claim and I'm still waiting form them to fix my furniture. I also received a fraction of reimbursement for items I needed to purchase because of the delay in our belongings being delivered. All City knew 6 days before our move that they did not have a crew to pack us nor did they have a driver yet they never bothered to contact us. UPDATE 7/5/18: uploaded a sample of the SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. 90% of our furniture had damage, ranging from completely destroyed to major gouges to noticeable scrapes. DO NOT RISK YOUR BELONGINGS WITH ALL CITY. UPDATE 7/2/18: the trailer finally arrived today, finally. There is SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE to all of our furniture. A desk was COMPLETELY DESTROYED (pictures to follow in another update). Both master bedroom dressers had legs shirred off in the van making them unusable. Sofa cushions and pillows were not put in boxes or wrapped up. They were SHOVED IN THE VAN TOWARDS THE CEILING and are now FILTHY. We have SHATTERED mirrors from being improperly packed. Dustin and the crew who loaded us did a horrific job and clearly did not care about our belongings. The local agency who unloaded our things were shocked at how the van was loaded and the extent to the damage. You would be stupid to use All City. Even though some people had an ok experience, do you want to risk all of your things being damaged and will likely not get anywhere near full reimbursement hoping your experience is better??? Don, Joe, Dean and Connie are the most disingenuous people encountered and they hire workers who do not care about people's belongings. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. The agent in Denver, Great Plains Moving, was awesome. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. All City has had our belongings since June 15. They have been sitting in a moving van in Their yard overheating each day, causing damage each day, and All City will not get a driver for them. We contracted them for our move in early May for a pack date of June 14, loading on June 15. No one showed up on June 14 and no one bothered to call. We had to track Joe Magill, Operations Manager, down to find out what was going on. They sent a crew on June 15 to pack and load all in one day, costing us time and money on our travel to CO. Like other reviewers ( and some stories are exactly the same as ours), We then never have proactive communications. Our contracted delivery dates were June 21-22. As of today, they have not found a driver. This is ludicrous since they knew this job was happening on May 5. My husband was back in the Bay Area a few days into them holding our belongings and spoke to Joe in person. In person Joe hops to his job. All seemed fine, then absolutely no communications. We were then forced to contact North American corporate offices, including the President of North American Van Lines. Joe at All City and North American corporate keep passing the buck on whose responsibility it is to get a driver. Every day this week we've gotten lip service that by the end of the day there will be someone. I don't care that this is the busy season....we contracted for this job in May!! Joe, who does not understand the meaning of professionalism, follow-through or customer service is now avoiding finishing this job because we got the President of the company involved. He has been rude and speaks with a pissy attitude when it is his doing and he is not communicating with us. Or North American, apparently!! Don Lee has been aware of this starting with the packers not showing upand is doing nothing. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, posting similar reviews on all social media, filing complaints with North American Corp and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. At this point they are unlawfully holding our belongings. And the kicker is that you will get next to nothing in compensation. Our move is costing $15,000. Do you really want to risk your hard earned money with these people?? Do not believe a word Joe Magill, Connie Mc Martin or Dean Felton tell you.

What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. We also tipped each person individually, in cash.

So I knew no matter how long the move took and with the long distances, I already knew how much the max cost would be up front with no surprises. And they also offer a discount based on the way you paid them. WINNING! And so, I didn't use Pure Moving just once, but three times this month. The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! I just want to say thank you to Paul, Nick, Toha, Dan and Symon for taking care of our move and my Family. Moving is already stressful but they made it Pure-ly AWESOME!

They handled all our items with the utmost care. Our move took a little less than 4 hours and we were so happy with their services! They offered a 7% discount if you pay cash which was a plus for us. When we need to move again, they will be our go to choice!
