Update: talked with business owner and came to an understanding. They were very busy last year when we used them and I appreciated the business owner taking the time to talk to me and replying to my review. Horrible, horrible experience. We requested a quote and were told that someone would come by our house the following Friday to take a look and give us a quote. No one ever showed up, nor did anyone call us and let us know they weren't coming, so I assume they forgot. I should have known not to book with them after this, but I did anyway. The lady never communicated with us on when she'd be there (so we could let her in, we weren't living at the residence at the time) so we had to call her. My husband left work early to let her in, and she never showed up. Said she'd be late. When she did show up, did not communicate with us on when she'd be done, we had to continuously call her. I was alone with my baby while my husband was at work, so I needed to know when to come back to the residence to pay her and lock up. She finally let us know she was done, after my daughter had gone to bed so I had to get a babysitter so I could meet her at the residence. I rushed over and SHE WAS NOT THERE! She'd already left and only told me as I arrived there. She told me to come back the next day to meet her and pay her, even though we didn't live in that area and she'd originally told us to meet her at the house and pay her. Incredibly bad communication, she leaves it up to the customer to get in contact with her instead of the other way around. We had used their service for many years, mostly because my husband has PTSD and doesn't like change. In that time, the service has declined and the prices have risen significantly. Sure, prices have gone up everywhere, but the difference is that they raised the price twice without prior notification. We forgave the fact that they partnered with a felon because everyone deserves second chances. But the straw that broke the camel's back was the billing question explanation that ewe got charged for an extra hour because they started (also without prior notice) charging for a flat fee for 3 or 4 hours - regardless of time worked. BUYERS BEWARE!! I normally don't write these types of reviews, but felt my dealings with All City Cleaning should be of community information. I engaged All City Cleaning for a potential move out clean after reading great reviews on the Next Door app. My experience in dealing with the owner was unfortunately not the case. In short, I told the owner I would not need her services and she acknowledged that. However, she forgot to remove my appointment from her own calendar and tried to bill me for her mistake! After refusing to pay for her mistake, she went as far as taking the invoice to a collection agency who continued to pursue these false charges on me! The owner Julia was a very disrespectful, unorganized, and unprofessional business owner in my experience. This entire ordeal was a nuisance to my daily life and I had no choice but to take this to the Better Business Bureau for mediation purposes. And thank God I did, because after communicating back and forth with Julia via BBB, she finally came to her senses and canceled the charges she was trying to make me pay! I'm so impressed how spotless my house is. The sink faucets and shower fixtures are so shiny. I'm in awe with how our master shower looks. Our shower has glass doors and had a stubborn stain I've never been able to get rid for 4 years of owning our home. After All City Cleaning came in, my glass doors are clear with no stubborn soap scum. I've never seen them that clear. The stain in the shower is gone and no evidence of it being there. It's like a brand new shower/bathroom. Our windows (inside and out) are spotless. And our carpets looks brand new as well. We used this service consistently for over a year while living in Lacey, WA. The cleaners were trustworthy, punctual, and very thorough in their cleaning! They are experts in cleaning glass shower doors, but all of their work is flawless. I would recommend them for a one-time cleaning (as I have done prior to company coming), or regular intervals (Soon after, I enlisted them for regular cleanings to keep our busy home looking fabulous!). My wife found this "service" through Amazon and called to contract for cleaning our apartment after we moved out. They scheduled us for two people cleaning our two bathrooms and kitchen only and my wife accepted. The cleaners were an hour and ten minutes late getting there and it turned out they were only cleaning for 2 hours. My wife said there had been something said about two hours, but she hadn't fully understood what the person she was speaking with meant. Evidently these "cleaners" work for two hours and if they are not finished with what they are cleaning - too bad. They walked off without finishing the kitchen, leaving over half of it for me to do. Mind you, I owned my own cleaning business for more than 20 years and had many people working for me. I KNOW what cleaning is all about and there is NO freaking way any professional service will have their people stop with the job unfinished and have them walk away. My wife and I are MORE than dissatisfied, we are angry and disgusted at what these two people did. Neither of them were professional quality, though one did slightly better work than the other. There should have been no problem in cleaning the two bathrooms and small kitchen in the two hour allotted. We will never call this company again and discourage anyone else from ever making the same mistake we did. read more

Recommended by Riley Jackson as the ONLY carpet cleaning option for moving out of a rental property. I scheduled them for the day of the move out inspection and they DID NOT show up. They DID NOT call or e-mail to say they were not going to be there. Also, they only had excuses as to why there was no communication. They did not show up because filters were clogged, but I find it hard to believe that there are no "back up" cleaning systems, especially when I am writing them a $560.00 check. They came "highly recommended" by Anke Matthews at Riley Jackson Realty. She said, "I would like for you to use AllCityCleaning for the carpet cleaning. Worst company you can choose! SO expensive and crooked! I paid them $560 to clean carpets and exterior windows. They came back at my request to clean interior windows and do a "quick wipe down" of cabinets because I already had the house cleaned before they showed up for carpet cleaning. I was quoted a price for 19 windows and $35 per hour for cleaning. They showed up at the property after I moved out and then sent me an invoice for 27 windows and 13 hours of cleaning. A bill totaling $597. I disputed the bill, so they sent it to the property manager. The bill they sent to the property manager was $631.17 which came out of my deposit. This company is CROOKED!!!!! They do not honor estimates; they are money hungry! No house cleaning and carpet cleaning should total $1191.17. Outrageously expensive! read more

I had purchased an offer thru Amazon Local for 3 Hours of Man Cleaning (for $75.00 which according to them is normally $150.00), and a hour and a half (because there were two people cleaning) later ended up with a clean kitchen a quick run thru of my partial bath. I will say that the work did was good, however for 75.00 to clean a kitchen your better off spending 25.00 on higher end cleaning products and doing the job yourself. After the cleaners left I expressed my concern to the owner or person in charge and did not come to an agreement with how to resolve my issue. Had the offer specified that 2 cleaners would only be a hour and a half of cleaning, I would have sent one person to do the bathrooms and left one person in the kitchen. So I called Amazon Local and being the great customer service gurus that they are ( which I hope All City Cleaning Services takes note of), they were quick to make sure this type of problem would not happen again, and they offered me a credit on my account since they came and a service was done they could not offer a full re fund which I am more than ok with. I suspect the company might say my kitchen was in horrible shape before they arrived and that why they only worked on 2/4 areas, I will admit the oven needed some extra attention but I had even moved majority of the items on the counter to help them be more efficient with their time. All in all I think the work done was mediocre, it defiantly gives me confidence to offer my services for a better price and time management, however the thing that really sticks with me is the poor customer service given by this company, and not doing what was agreed upon. read more

First time I called, no one returned my call. When I called back a week later, I was told that she "lost" my phone number. I told myself that that sort of thing can happen - a simple mistake. Scheduled an appointment to have our windows washed - they called two hours beforehand to cancel after my partner and I had already rearranged our work schedules for the day. I became aware of this business through Amazon Local and have been very happy with the service. I was told up front that two people would be cleaning for one and a half hours. The first visit was cleaning the kitchen, which was definitely overdue. Second visit they were able to touch up the kitchen plus attack the laundry room. I am now a regular monthly customer, and am better able to keep up with housekeeping in between visits. The ladies are very professional and sometimes I work along side them, which is a bonus to me. Definitely recommended, but of course ask questions first about your specific needs so everybody is on the same page. read more

Wonderful family owned, super awesome cleaners. Julia is so responsive and kind! Her husband and long time employee are her teammates...they are swift, efficient, and extremely thorough. They got stains out of the bathroom that I did not even know could be cleaned. I don't think you could find better house cleaners. I have always cleaned my own home and am very picky. They have a way of knowing what you want it to look like...while being realistic if it's not in your budget for 8 hours of their cleaning (which by the way, if you can afford, highly recommend because your house will be spotless!:) ...but any time they spend you will be happy! Made an appointment through their living social coupon. They scheduled for 11am, did not show up. I called they said they rescheduled for 3pm. I said well aren't you suppose to call, they dismissed me and said they would be there at 3pm. I had to rearrange my schedule based on their lack of customer service. They charged me an extra $52.50, for dusting and mopping the floors. Basically, 2 people can only clean kitchen counters and bathrooms in a 1 1/2 hour time frame. The cleaning was not done up to par. Grime still around faucets and kitchen sink had left over mopping dirt in it. They did not vacuum or their vacuum did not suck! The owner, could have cared less about the customers and only the money to be made. Very disappointing experience. I was hoping this would be a service I could use regularly; however, I will be looking elsewhere. Owner is making the money and the workers aren't!
