Great place to get your smog, Fabian really helped me out and explained what went wrong. And then when I came back for a retest it was all good to go!! read more

Our experience here was so quick and smooth. We got there at 10:40 on a Wednesday morning and were out in 10 minutes. Fabian was also very kind and genuinely appreciative of us coming in. It's $50 for a standard car so pretty average on the price. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I went in last minute for a smog without paperwork he helped me figure out which of the many papers in my compartment would work, he helped me quickly and efficiently. Provided great customer service and made a situation I expected to be a little stressful smooth and easy. read more

Fast service and friendly staff with fair prices. Been going there for years, always a positive experience.

All Autos Smog is awesome! Quick, effecient, nice. Clear communication. Great place. Good places around while waiting

Fast, easy, reasonably priced, pleasant experience getting my truck smogged. My long-time smog place in Vista started charging $20 extra for trucks rather than $10...and $10 rather than $8.25 for smog certificate. This seemed a little much, so I looked around for a better value. Will go to All Autos Smog from now on! read more

Was able to come in on my lunch break and get my car smogged. Very easy! Would come here again.

Needed a quick last minute smog check before the holidays. Pulled up 20 mins after opening on a Saturday and was out the door 10 mins later. Fabian did a great, quick job. Highly recommend. read more

No wait time on a rainy day. $50 for smog check then some fees for certificate. They charge a credit card fee, which I was not told about in advance, which kinda sucks. Guys was professional. Quick in and out. I'd go there again. read more

Quick and easy. No complaints at all. Very accommodating! Was in and out in no time and I didn't even have an appointment.

I needed smog cert. Done in 20min. at half the price I paid 2years ago elsewhere. Test only means no questionable repair recommendations.

I called ahead for availability and went right in for a smog check, being done in less than 10 minutes. The price was reasonable so I couldn't have asked for more. 5/5 read more

When I was sat down at the desk, the guy asked me for keys, said nothing more and disappeared. I sat there a good five minutes not knowing what was happening. When he returned, he'd moved my car into the bay. He then refused to smog my car bc my air intake hose was replaced at some point and didn't have a particular sticker on it. I casually mentioned I'd had it smogged several times before with no issue. He said "they either didn't know or you slipped them some money" in a very judgemental, accusatory tone. I asked if he'd mind if I pulled up the part info on its website to check for the number he needed, and he angrily shouted "yes!" at me and told me to move my car. So I had to back it out of their service bay myself. I love being accused of bribery and dishonesty. Thanks guy. I'd been nothing but polite; his terrible attitude toward me was unecessary. I could never recommend this place to anyone. There are many others nearby. read more

I'm not one to do negative reviews but this was just unacceptable customer service! I went in to get a smog check. After waiting for some time at the front, I noticed no one was there.. so I went to the side to see if someone was working on a car; to let them know I was a customer waiting to be helped. As soon as I said "hello".. the man raised his voice and with a bad tone of voice said "CAN'T YOU JUST WAIT UNTIL I GO UP THERE MAN!?". Right after that, I walked away and drove off. There are plenty of alternatives to go here in San Marcos. Why be helped by someone who clearly doesn't want to help. read more

I had just recently bought a car from out of state and it needed the smog done in order to register the car in California. I'm assuming the gentleman that was working there was the owner, he saw me pull up and immediately got up to greet me. From the time I arrived to the time that the car finished smog, it was a whole 20 minute max. It was very quick and professionally done. Customer service was excellent and I was very please with how everything went so smoothly. read more

Nice guys with a quick service and happy to give the 20% Yelp first time offer discount. Recommend them highly!

0 stars Beware I paid twice for this guy's mistake. I was told my car didn't have carb compliant catalytic converter and that It would have to be replaced ($1400). Thankfully I'm a mechanic myself (just not smog certified). also I have smogged this car before with no problem in the past so I thought that was weird (he was made aware of this but he said the last guy just didn't check correctly) . so I get back home and check it myself and found it no problem (pic provided was taken at this shop not my house I posted so you can see the visibility of the #'s). Took it back and told him this and besides the crappy attitude and service I was charged again. If he makes a mistake I guarantee he will not own up to it and you will pay for it so beware. Save yourself the hassle and just go elsewhere. I can't imagine if I wasn't a mechanic and took this guys word I would've been out $1400. read more

This place is the best. They always come through. They are humble and efficient!! I appreciate this place so much

I came here due to all the great reviews, including some from people with opinions I trust. Not sure if I dealt with someone different or if he was having a bad day but man was that an awful experience. FYI, it's in the back of the soapy joes parking lot. 2 different apps on my phone sent me in circles, neither to the right lot. No warm greeting on arrival, just "you have an appointment?" Hand him my keys and he asks for paperwork, let him know I forgot but have a photo of it. Asks again for my paperwork followed by "you don't have the paperwork?" Walks away. Drives my car in and asks for my name and address. Hands me invoice to sign and I let him know I have the coupon from the website. Gets mad and asks why I didn't tell him from the beginning and that he has to redo it (which took him 2 seconds to reprint) to which I apologize and say I didn't know we were to that point. Walks away again. Comes back in says the $ amount (no comment on the status of the report). Pay him and all I get is "Keys are in car. You can get it out." Pretty sure it's not safe for customers to be driving out of your bay but hey what do I know. Moral of the story: it was cheap but so was the customer service. I'll be elsewhere next time around. read more

Payed for my registration I figured I needed a smog so had it smogged and went back in for my tags and told he is out of tags even though I already payed for them now I'm driving a car with expired tags he said to leave my number he would call still have not heard back I just don't understand if you pay for a service why would you not hold up to your priority if I payed for them how are you going to sell them to someone else Update payed for my tags at another location maybe the owner will reimburse me lol read more

There are cheaper places in town that do EXACTLY the same thing but with better service. When I went here the guy was very RUDE. Also, they didn't ask about the fact that I had just replaced my battery, and so the bigger guy there said they would need to retest, and charged extra...about $70 total. Bad experience. Take your business elsewhere to a more friendly and less costly smog, and make sure you ask them to read your codes to make sure the engine is ready for test. read more

Five stars! Highly recommend this place. Excellent service provided by Andy! He was able to help us on a Sunday in Vista. Go to spot in San Marcos for smog. Quick and efficient services. Prices are good too.

I came here Friday morning at 9:15, the process was quick! This was my first time getting smogged since I bought my car (BMW) so I had a little bit of nerves. The guy that did it was very friendly! He plugged it in took 10 minutes and that was it! He never revved it either or ran it at a fast speed which was great! I always heard when you get your car smogged they do that. Nope! After the 10 minutes he told me I passed! Such a relief, the service was excellent he was great. Friendly and in and out super fast. Definitely recommend! read more

Seems like the reviews here are either 5 stars or 1 star. Maybe it depends on who's working. When I arrived there was no one waiting. Quick in and out for smog and reasonably priced. What else could you ask for? Tricky to find, especially in the dark. The only thing you can see from the street is car wash (Soapy Joes). Turn in there. If you miss it, you have to make a few u-turns and try again. Don't ask how I know that. read more

Quick and convieiant. Use the coupon on there website to save a few bucks. I called in before I drove to the shop and the guy I spoke to said to come on down. I drove up and he took my car in. Nice and friendly the way I like it. I'll come back next time have to smog a car. Thanks All Autos Smog. So I after writing the review while I waited the owner said his smog machine was not working. He was very nice about it and asked if I minded driving to the Vista shop. He said he will keep the same price. I'm not taking a star off because he was nice about the situation. read more

Been going here for a few years now. Always quick and easy and I get tags on the spot for a small fee.

Hey this guy was very hardworking and efficient! He and his wife also sells nice furniture! (They look well-made from the catalog and the prices are reasonable too.) It's a one man show at this place, so if you're lucky without anyone ahead of you on at a not-so-busy time, then you'll probably be in and out in 20 mins. But if he's with a customer, then you gotta wait a little. Best thing is, he also gives out stickers for a fee of $25 (I believe or something like that.) So, it's really a one-stop shop. Just remember to bring your registration and money and you can walk out with a sticker in your hand. No DMV hassle, don't even have to look up what time AAA closes. The location is prime - next a car wash, a tire shop and I believe an auto body shop. You got everything in this little auto care plaza! He's polite and nice, but I understand how he might appear as too "chop chop get this done" to some people that he doesn't have enough time to chit chat and socialize with you, but you're there for getting the sticker so you can go to places without risking being pulled over; it's best if you can get out of there as quick as possible! I'd recommend this smog check to other people. It's still kinda interesting that he sells furniture there which is totally random. But I must say it's a smart business advertising strategy because you're stuck there reading their catalogs while you wait and they make you wanna buy furniture... read more
