TERRIBLE SERVICE- actually, no service at all. I would give negative (-5) stars, if it were an available rating on Yelp. I called to get more info, the phone was answered w/"Thank for calling, can you please hold"? Of course, I'll hold, offices are busy- my office is busy, so I understand and empathize. 22 minutes later, and NOT EVEN a- "we'll be right with you" or any acknowledgement at all that I had been waiting for nearly a half-fucking-hour. I hang up and call back, guess what? Another- "Thank you for calling can you please hold?" Before I can tell the rude broad that, "NOPE, I was on hold for 22 minutes", she puts me back ON HOLD!!! I call back again, and the broad is super annoyed. I hung up her. Bottom line- I contacted this place to get my vehicle registered. I have REAL MONEY to spend, which will now be spent at another agency w/ decent customer service skills and who will actually pick up the phone to TALK, rather than say, "Can you please hold?" and then ignore the caller until closing time. I find that very lazy and shitty business practice. BY FAR-WORST SERVICE. Suggestions to this crappy place- get some training in customer service, make sure employees know it's not okay to ignore calls an HOUR before closing time, and ensure they know/understand operation hours and what that means. read more

I had the best experience in getting a vehicle re-titled and transferred today. Like many people i don't look forward to dealing with DMV paperwork. The car that I was buying was in the Vista area. I live about 50 miles from this business, but after my experience today I would be very likely to drive the distance to go there again because they know what they're doing , they're efficient and extremely pleasant to work with. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE HEALTH. Worker was not wearing mask. Very small enclosed space. Packed full of people NOT wearing masks. I would have had my transfer done here but had to leave. Another customer sitting nearby was snorting and wiping her nose and obviously sick. NASTY place because of the workers. This was on 7/27/20. The lady's desk had no plexi glass. She wasn't wearing a masks,,,Nasty dirty place! Eww,,, I feel bad for a couple of the people who went in wearing masks like decent, intelligent community members. I came out with new license plates in under 30 minutes! They were very helpful and honest with pricing. Make sure you come in with your title, smog inspection, and required dmv paperwork. They take card. They charge a fee for getting your license plates same day. Its cheaper if you don't mind them sending your paperwork to the dmv for processing on their end but I just paid the fee and got mine same day. They said its about 4 weeks to get my title in the mail, so thats the only thing im waiting on! I definitely recommend coming here. read more

Kali Auto Registration put me at a big risk of paying thousands of dollars in taxes for auto transfer. Not only has the process itself been ongoing for almost two months right now, but they also provided incorrect information to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration so now I need to re-do the paperwork. After discussing this with them, Kali Auto explained they tried to shortcut the process and skip some steps in the transfer while I never requested so. Very disappointing experience, I don't recommend this business, they put me at big risk, and now I need to spend even more time to get this back on track. read more
