Chicken Panini & Guarana Pop
Abby M.

Had a tasty chicken panini inside their new restaurant space. The service was friendly and the space was air conditioned and comfortable, decorated with bench and chair seating with various train signs hung along the walls. Food and drink was a bit pricey (my can of pop was over $4.00 but comes from Brazil) but was good. Food was hot-drink was cold! Great spot along the trail to take a break from biking, jogging, or walking.

Caprese Panini

It's my personal opinion that there should be food trucks up and down the Pennypack Trail. These people know what's good for them. I live pretty much next to this thing and always seemed to walk by without stopping. It's only open on the weekends, and there always seems to be a decent amount of people hanging around. It's a great pit stop. Their menu is very small, with a Brazilian touch. So far, I've only eaten the Caprese Panini, which is awesome. They put a gourmet spin on the Italian classic by adding some bacon and fig up in the mix. I would absolutely get it again, and would be willing to raise up my rating after more experiences. They have seating for anyone who is hanging out, which is convenient. The girls behind the window are extremely happy to be there. If you're taking a stroll, make it a point to stop by throughout your adventure.

Train themed food truck.

Ahhh Paladar! This place brings back fond memories. When I lived in Maryland, there was a location…read morein Annapolis that my co-workers/friends used to frequent for happy hour after work. When that location closed, we were bummed. I decided to take a little holiday shopping trip to King of Prussia and whaddaya know? The only Paladar location still standing is right here! After checking into my hotel, I made it my duty to head over there for happy hour. I'm glad I got there shortly after happy hour started because the bar started getting packed after a while. One thing I was happy to see was a happy hour with happy hour prices. $6 drinks and $6 food items can't be beat! I had a mango mojito followed by an apple margarita. I had the chips and guacamole, chicken tacos, and their famous (to me) bread pudding. That bread pudding is still as delicious as I remembered it to be. The bartender was nice and managed the crowd very well. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely return when I'm in the area again. I just pray this location never closes as it seems all the others have.

We came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner with family. There were five of us. We had…read morereservations. We started with the salad bar which includes lots of hot and cold selections. They bring mashed potatoes, fried plantains and cheesy bread to the table for everyone. All of the meat I tried was great along with everything I had from the salad bar. My fiancé can't stop talking about the wings and how incredible they were! The service was wonderful!

Summary: Changed owners since we came here last. A decent adaptation of a Brazilian Steakhouse to…read morethe American palate. Missing: 1) Seasoning. Traditional Brazilian barbecue uses coarse salt on the meat that is cooked over an open flame or direct heat source. None of the meat was seasoned this way. 2) Farofa (unforgivable oversight for Brazilians). 3) Lightly breaded, fried bananas - a churrascaria staple. 4) Picanha com alho (garlic) - They served a garlic covered cheaper piece of meat. 5) Creme de Papaya com Cassis. Service was efficient, and they ran a special for people celebrating their birthday. The birthday person gets their main course for free. 20% tip was automatically added. Our server reminded us that was divided between them and other staff and pointed out the space where we could add an additional tip. Ambiance was traditional Brazilian steakhouse, with a small salad bar with hot food selections, as well. Conclusion: If you want an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse / Churrascaria experience, you're better off driving into Philadelphia, to King of Prussia, or Easton where you can still find it. It's worth the drive at this price point.
