We had Pure install a water heater we bought & it turned out to be defective. They were out here…read moredaily until the problem was finally discovered & then installed one of theirs. We had several different technicians here including their boss & everyone was so friendly & worked hard to make things right. When you call you get a real person & they send someone out that day. So glad we went with them!

We need a new water softener system. After getting 7 different estimates, we decided to go with…read morePure. Not only was the best price, but they have proven to me over the years that they are not just about $$. They have built some good ethos with me. This is my third time dealing with pure. The first time was a couple years ago when I asked them to come out and evaluate our water softener. We have well water, and when we purchased the house, we knew nothing about the water softener. The owner came out and told us we did not need a new water softener, and he spent about an hour showing us how to maintain and use the water softener. It's always a bonus when you're looking for a new water softener and the owner tells you...' as much as I'd like to sell you a new water softener, you don't need it'. The second time was two years later when I had them come out and service everything, changed the filters and all that stuff. This was a less than enjoyable experience. When the technician was done, my reverse osmosis spout would not turn off. It was doing fine before he arrived. I asked him about it, and he got defensive in a little bit short with me. He did replace the spout and didn't charge me for it. I called the business and told the owner the guy was a bit rude and short with me. Also, I felt I was being overcharged. The owner looked at the bill and said everything was on target and he said he never had an issue with that technician. Maybe he was just having a bad day. But the nice thing was, The owner did offer to reduce the service charge. I told him that if I was not overcharged, then no, I did not need a discount. But he offered, and that was important. So with the history, and the price I decided to use them and so far I'm very happy. After a few weeks, the sales person came out and checked the whole system and brought a few bags of complementary salt.

UPDATE JUNE 27TH:…read more Sir, you know very well that's not all you did, you guys demanded payment without even assessing my sink first. I HIGHLY doubt you do that when you visit your white client's homes. I was also very welcoming and friendly to both of you. If you guys don't want to work with non-white customers, just add a sign to your business that clearly states "WHITES ONLY". ------------------------------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't even know how to address this, but here it goes: Do you guys demand payment upfront before even assessing the clogs from ALL your clients? When I opened the door, both technicians looked at me up and down and asked first if it was an apartment and told me they couldn't work here, to which I asked "why tho?" And the sir replied "because you have to let property management know, who's gonna pay?" as if thinking we weren't paying? I mean that's exactly why we called you, because WE WANTED TO PAY TO FIX OUR PROBLEM. Then after telling them that we of course were paying (hello?), before even assessing the clog, payment was demanded, and they didn't start until payment was confirmed. The other guy wouldn't even acknowledge me or respond to me when I made him a direct question. I'm not calling it racism, but it very well felt like I was being racially profiled. Yes, they fixed the problem and I'm very thankful for that, but the experience was very awkward. If you guys tell me that's your MO with ALL your clients and you ask for the payment first before even starting, I'll consider editing rating and review.

Our home warranty sent a plumber out, who I'll review separately, to diagnose and fix a basement…read morebathroom that stopped drawing. They said it was a mainline issue and we would have to find someone else. Based on Yelp reviews we called the Plumbing Doctor and had an appointment the next day. As it turns out the basement doesn't go to the mainline but goes through an ejector tank & pump up to the mainline. It took Dave about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem as a failed pump. He basically cleared the schedule the next day, had the pump replaced and we're back in business. Communicated through the whole process. Even though dealing with sewage in our basement the job was done spotlessly with a very thorough clean up. Pricing seems very reasonable though we didn't shop around. I'll give this locally owned small business a call every time and just skip my home warranty in the future. Much less headache for a reasonable price.

We bought a house that already had their water filtration system installed. We called them to come…read moredo maintenance- replace filters, make sure everything is working as it should etc. I was especially concerned about a water filter that looked especially dirty and possibly clogged and accumulating sediment at the bottome. The tech came and supposedly did everything needed including a water test to verify cleanliness of our water. Total $500!! Afterward the filter looked exactly the same like it hadn't been touched- orange-ish on top and full of brown crud. After calling and texting back and forth they agreed it didn't look clean, that we should take it apart and clean it per some instructions they sent us. When saying to them shouldn't this have been done during our maintenance appt? They then said yes it was done (which is a lie)... also why send us directions to take it apart if it was already done? Anyway we followed their directions which ended up being semi-difficult but washed out the orange slime and sediment but a plastic piece was broken on the filter during reassembly. We called them and they quoted us another $400 to totally replace the filter! Although it was their fault for not doing it in the first place! My husband then went to the local hardware store and bought a little convertor piece for a few bucks and fixed it. Moral of the story will not have them return because basically we paid them to do a job that we then had to finish and they refused to admit any wrong or try to fix it.
