A neighbor recently had a system put in and before doing so, did get arsenic and iron in his sample. Afterwards he also got the same nominal number. He was not happy after the sales presentation. He asked for documentation from Kinetico and was told there was no such information. The items he asked for to be removed from the water required a different additional system. $5,000 for the softener. No price yet on the additional items since the system is already installed. Our home warranty sent a plumber out, who I'll review separately, to diagnose and fix a basement…read morebathroom that stopped drawing. They said it was a mainline issue and we would have to find someone else. Based on Yelp reviews we called the Plumbing Doctor and had an appointment the next day. As it turns out the basement doesn't go to the mainline but goes through an ejector tank & pump up to the mainline. It took Dave about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem as a failed pump. He basically cleared the schedule the next day, had the pump replaced and we're back in business. Communicated through the whole process. Even though dealing with sewage in our basement the job was done spotlessly with a very thorough clean up. Pricing seems very reasonable though we didn't shop around. I'll give this locally owned small business a call every time and just skip my home warranty in the future. Much less headache for a reasonable price.

Our awesome friend from the well company referred us to Chris at Gardner's water service and and we scheduled an appointment for a same-day install and quote job and couldn't be happier. The work was done in an incredibly professional fashion, and in a very timely manner. There was no attempt at an upsell that would have resulted in additional equipment and everything that was installed was very well explained so that we knew exactly what we needed to do to operate it properly and maintain it After the install, they remained available for prompt responses by email and text to help us get the system working in optimum fashion. As far as costs go, they were right in line with everybody else except they go the extra mile and use better quality components to set up the plumbing so that it doesn't require ongoing maintenance and provide the right products for your filtration needs the first time. They also were able to install the system so that if we did need anything additional, we could just add it on in the future. Overall, very happy with the experience here and the prompt service received, and will definitely be recommending gardeners in the future .

It was a straightforward, targeted repair. Instead of focusing on that, Hoffman gave me five quotes: Replace all plumbing (supply and drain) plus the water heater, expansion tank, and pressure regulator: $35,611.00 Replace all supply plumbing plus the water heater, expansion tank, and pressure regulator: $23,874.00 Replace all supply plumbing but not the water heater: $20,365.00 Replace just the water heater, expansion tank, and pressure regulator: $4,800.00 Finally, the work I actually called about (and I had to ask specifically for this quote because it was not given)--replacing the pressure regulator, T&P valve, and expansion tank--dismissively labeled the "bandaid option": $2,180.00 That last number was for the exact repair I had already identified myself. I later bought the parts and did that "bandaid option" on my own for about $150 in materials. We bought our house in 2020 and knew nothing about septic systems or what it meant to live on septic. Waters conducted our independent septic inspection and then also cleaned it out. They were great then and I had hoped we wouldn't see them again for another 5-7 years. Fast forward to today (2023), we began a permit process with Washoe County to put a shop on our property. When you're on septic you're required to go through the health department for verification of your septic system and ensure there's enough space on the property for repairs, etc. We opted to work with Waters through this process to get us through our health department nightmare. Dan Martin was our point of contact and let me tell you... this guy is AWESOME. He helped us navigate through what felt like a nightmare, coordinated with the health department directly, and was so so patient with me, my husband, and all the nuances we had to go through to document our septic system and seepage pit. I am beyond grateful for people like him who are professional, relatable, trustworthy, honest, and hard working. He never got annoyed with us and was so quick to support in whatever next step we needed to do for the health department. If you need septic support in any capacity, Waters should be your go-to.
