We had Pure install a water heater we bought & it turned out to be defective. They were out here daily until the problem was finally discovered & then installed one of theirs. We had several different technicians here including their boss & everyone was so friendly & worked hard to make things right. When you call you get a real person & they send someone out that day. So glad we went with them! read more

We need a new water softener system. After getting 7 different estimates, we decided to go with Pure. Not only was the best price, but they have proven to me over the years that they are not just about $$. They have built some good ethos with me. This is my third time dealing with pure. The first time was a couple years ago when I asked them to come out and evaluate our water softener. We have well water, and when we purchased the house, we knew nothing about the water softener. The owner came out and told us we did not need a new water softener, and he spent about an hour showing us how to maintain and use the water softener. It's always a bonus when you're looking for a new water softener and the owner tells you...' as much as I'd like to sell you a new water softener, you don't need it'. The second time was two years later when I had them come out and service everything, changed the filters and all that stuff. This was a less than enjoyable experience. When the technician was done, my reverse osmosis spout would not turn off. It was doing fine before he arrived. I asked him about it, and he got defensive in a little bit short with me. He did replace the spout and didn't charge me for it. I called the business and told the owner the guy was a bit rude and short with me. Also, I felt I was being overcharged. The owner looked at the bill and said everything was on target and he said he never had an issue with that technician. Maybe he was just having a bad day. But the nice thing was, The owner did offer to reduce the service charge. I told him that if I was not overcharged, then no, I did not need a discount. But he offered, and that was important. So with the history, and the price I decided to use them and so far I'm very happy. After a few weeks, the sales person came out and checked the whole system and brought a few bags of complementary salt. read more

So we have had pure water systems installed now for about five weeks and we are loving it! We installed the reverse osmosis water filtration system by the kitchen sink and then we also installed the jugs in the garage for soft water throughout the house. The appointment we had with Kawika went smooth and I love the presentation he did. He was kind and it definitely felt like no pressure at all. After two weeks, I noticed a weird sound coming from under the sink and I checked and there had been water leaking onto a towel I had there as back up. The towel was pretty soaked and smelly, and the bottom of the cabinets were starting to crinkle. However, I called pure water systems and the gal I spoke with wanted to send a technician out there immediately, which was a very, very nice considering it was 5:30 PM on a Friday night. The technician, José, was there very promptly and all he did was tighten the filter that he noticed was loose. Since then, all has been excellent and so far I would say the value will be good in the long run. Much appreciation to the team that installed the system and for the technician that came out that day. I'm a happy customer. read more

We were extremely happy with the service and water softener/filter equipment from Pure Water Systems in our Truckee vacation home. We initially felt that the price was high but you get what you pay for - the workmanship and professionalism were top notch. We worked with Kurt on a quote and the installer (forgot his name) was very friendly, professional and did excellent work. I only wish Pure Water Systems serviced the Bay Area where we have our primary residence. We couldn't be happier with Pure Water Systems. 100% recommended! read more

Great system and service. Quick response to questions. Great value for top quality equipment.

Had these guys install my water system and the whole experience was great from start to finish. They were professional, on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything was explained clearly, the install was clean, and they took the time to answer my questions without rushing me. Since the system was installed, the water quality has been noticeably better throughout the house. Overall, very smooth process and solid workmanship. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable water system company. read more

5 Stars for sure! From the first moment we met Kawika, our Specialist, to the install and training by our Technician John, our experience was informative and thorough. Kawika is a great advisor and very knowledgeable about the water in Fernley! John did an excellent job with the install, reworking the piping, and kindly and patiently walked me through how to maintain the system. He also shared helpful advice on annual services. Both Kawika and John were professional, friendly, and really made us feel confident about our decision. AND... we immediately noticed a huge difference in the taste and clarity of our water--no more bottled water for us! read more

We just moved to the area and we were asking around about water filtration systems. Actually we thought Reno had great water until friends said, no there arsenic and other chemicals in it And guess who shows up at our home, Luke. He was great. Informative, not pushy and clear. We took that information and asked around a bit but every single person we asked recommended Pure Water. So it really was a no brainer to go with them. Nick our installer was beyond amazing. Courteous, clean, informed up when water was going to be shut off, explained exactly what he was going to do. And even put his name on the filtration system to take responsibility. He was awesome!!! Highly recommend them. You can't go wrong. Thank you! read more

We have always been on a water softener at our different homes over the past 25 plus years and with the different contaminants in our area water we wanted something more than just a softener. We had two different Culligan water softeners and when comparing PURE water systems Reionator PRO ULTRA there system was far superior and removed more contaminates then other products in the area! There representative Kawika Burdine is a professional and very knowledgeable in his field. There was not any type of hard sale tactics, just lots of good information in order to make a good decision! Setting up the install was easy and simple and the installation was on time with good communication. Zack was our installer and he did a professional job and went over the unit when he was finished. Kawika came back a few weeks after the install to test our water and check our unit to make sure everything was working and to answer any questions we might have on our new water system. Pure water system's is a great company with good people working for them and I would recommend them completely, read more

I cannot say enough good things about Pure Water Systems' technician James. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and explained everything to me; and discovered that I have two water leaks. This could've been catastrophic, if it was not for this technician. He was very experienced, courteous, and went way above than just changing my water filter. I called Pure Water to let them know that I was so appreciative and want James to always be my technician! I was sick of the nasty tasting water in Dayton and needed to make a change. I had been about $90 -$120 a month on a water delivery service and wanted to see what a whole home softener and drinking water solution would cost me. I was able to get a top of the line system for softening my water to the whole house, and a reverse osmosis system for the kitchen sink and fridge for a monthly fee that was less than delivery. Everyone from the sales person to the Installer were extremely friendly and helpful. The water tastes better than the delivery water, water sports are gone, I am very happy with everything! Let me start with this: I like Pure Water Systems. When my system was first installed (2016), they were great, and they remained that way for the first year or two. However, I have two major gripes: 1. They've called, texted, and emailed me about scheduling my service, it costs ~$200, and I've done it a few times. But I've also asked them multiple times kindly send me a list of the parts and instructions so I can do this myself. They take my information, tell me someone will get back to me and never do. It's been at least four times of doing this, so who knows what is happening. 2. When the system was installed, I would have appreciated someone telling me, "Hey, by the way, you aren't going to want that water in your evaporative cooler or on your plants." I now have a rusted, clapped-out swamp cooler that hurt many plants and trees. It would have been awesome if they'd plumbed it for that. That said, I know plenty of other people who are happy with their service. read more

Never did I feel pressured. Andrew explained everything to me about my Pure wateR filtration + softener. I didn't understand how or why the service was necessary due to being new in the area. Becauce of how hard my water is. Andrew explained in an easy manner how the the system worked. Due to his honest explanation I did not feel any sales pressure. I decided to get whole package that came with both filtration and water softener. This is a must in my opinion for any home in the area. Andrew even gave me a nice discount which I appreciated. The installer Victor Armenia was also very nice. I highly recommend this company and product. I love man the taste of my water No mond hard water spots on murrors, read more

We decided to inquire about the products they offer as we were in the process of replacing our washer and dishwasher after only five years of use due to the hard water shortening their life span. We are very happy with the entire experience, great business , Wish we would have purchased the system years ago!!! read more

After I had Pure come out to estimate a new system for my home, I got an automated email asking for my feedback, offering a $25 visa gift card for sending it to them directly. Since I'd already written my original review of my experience with the company here, I figured why not share the same with them directly and get some lunch out of the deal. I candidly shared the experience I had with Joe, linked to my Yelp review, and told them even if price was the same, I still couldn't have chosen them simply based on the salesmanship. A few days ago an envelope from Pure came in the mail. It had the $35 Visa card in it, but it also came with a handwritten note from Bryce, who I assume is a regional manager for the area. The note was personalized to my experience (pictured) and mentioned the specific feedback I shared about the overly confident salesperson. Most importantly though, the letter acknowledged that the experience I had was not up to their standards, and that the feedback I provided was going to be used to improve their process so future customers won't have the same happen to them. In the letter Bryce candidly addressed the fact that there's a fine line between confident and cocky, and that the sales organization should always remember that the customers have afforded the company the privilege of coming into their homes to quote. I'm changing my overall rating to four stars because of these acknowledgments. The original review reflects my actual experience with one salesperson, and it was shared in holes the feedback would prove helpful to the business. Knowing the feedback was received tells me that this company actually does care about their customer's experience, and I value that a whole heck of a lot. Coincidentally a few days before this note arrived I'd gotten a call from a community friend who had recently started working for them looking to earn my business. I haven't made any moves on the new system yet, and I'd happily chat with Chris Lombardo if he called again, especially if he could be more competitive on the pricing. read more

I called their office to schedule an appointment to get their system water line fixed, which was leaking from all the demolition and building work that happened the past two weeks. The dispatch was able to schedule me for the next day and Ricky came out to do the repair on time. He also remounted their water lines on our newly rebuilt wall in the garage. It took less than an hour and he double checked the system to ensure no other leaks popped up. Because my husband had signed up for their membership, we were able to get a 30% discount on their service. It was a pretty quick visit and Ricky was great! He walked me through all of what he did and the service was done under an hour. Thank you! read more

Kawika from Pure Water Systems came out and was very professional, kind and knowledgeable about what can happen to the plumbing pipes in your home especially living in Fernley where there is much sediment calcium buildup that can ruin, clog and damage your tankless water heater. Kept me informed was on time, work quality was fantastic, price reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Our neighbors introduced us to Pure Water Systems here in Reno. I contacted them and had a consultation with Luke Riley in 2 days. Luke came out, was very informative and honest. He described all 3 options to us...the pros and cons of each option. We made a decision to go with the Reionator Pro Ultra system. Our installation occurred in 2 days. James was our installer. He did a fantastic job. He recommended an installation design that had no exposed installation wires/tubes inside the house. We have had the system now for 3 days. The difference in the taste, the softness for showering and shampooing my hair is dramatic. We're extremely pleased with the entire process from beginning to end! Thanks to all involved! read more

We recently had a large water treatment system installed by Pure for our house and we are very happy with the system. Luke our sales guy was great and answered all of the questions we had. The installation Tech Nick did a great job getting everything installed. We had one issue with a faulty part, it happens, but they got the new part in quick and had us up and running. I was really impressed with the attention to detail on the pipe work done in the garage. Pipes were mounted securely to the wall and laid out neatly. Our kitchen sink was loose which the techs tightened for us. Our new well had A LOT of sediment. Nick had to take our sinks apart multiple times to get it all cleared out. Overall just very happy with the work and how quick they were able to get out there to install it. read more

Great system that I can say BUT when we bought it their sales rep said the maintenance was only a couple hundred dollars. OK sounds good right? Our friends have the same system, was told the same thing on maintenance cost and so when it was time to have it serviced they did not think to ask the cost because they were already told 200.00 or less. $650.00 later and maintenance was done. WHAT BUT BUT BUT I was told bla bla bla. They were told no its never been 200.00 or less. They got scammed as did ourselves. Only difference is I had not called yet for a maintenance appointment. Friends found another company who they love and that are not rip offs who now maintain their system and ours and most of our neighbors. Horrible company but great system. read more

My wife and I recently moved from the San Francisco Bay Area. We have always enjoyed the best water. Never have we had to install any treatment systems. As we settled into our new home we noticed that the house was equipped with both a RO system in the kitchen and a whole house system. My daughter and son in law just had a Pure Water system installed in their home in Carson city. The told us to contact Luke Riley to have him check out our place. Ironically we received a flyer in the mail, so I called Luke. He came out and noticed we had an original system that was installed when the house was built (2001). Luke recommended that we upgrade the system which we did. James came out to do the install. He was on time and really professional. Luke has followed up with us, even coming by to test the water. (ALL CLEAR) We really appreciate the great service and support offered by Pure Water Systems. read more

I needed my water trearment system replaced and I always come to Yelp to see who had good experiences with local merchants. Pure Water Systems had multiple good reviews. About the same time, I received an advert about their services and products. I am cautious about calling companies I know nothing about, so that is where Yelp comes in. Big help! Since I installed my system, Pure has opened an office in Dayton, on the highway close to town. Anyway, everyone I have delt with at Pure has been wonderful! The sales folks were patient, explained everything and answered my questions. My appointment was scheduled and the install tech arrived on time with everything I ordered. He was through, polite, and left my pump house looking better than it did on arrival. He took the old unit when he left and I am thrilled with my new water treatment system! I can't recommend Pure and their products enough and hope you will give them a try when you are ready for or need a new water treatment system! read more
