Osmin and his team did a great job. They were timely, the pricing was fair, and the work was executed at a high level. Highly recommended company. Aligned construction is great to work with. They are a very responsive and professional local company.

Osmin & Joanna have certainly earned my trust and confidence, I will use them again and would recommend Aligned to family and friends. We did a full ADU in my back yard in Mar Vista during 2024. Anyone that has taken on a remodel or new construction knows that the unexpected will happen for sure and Osmin was there with me every step of the way to pivot and solve every issue. He works well with the city (LADBS) and all his crew members were reliable and respectful of my property and time. 5 Stars read more

We needed to do an extensive renovation to our home. A friend of mine recommended Osmin from Aligned construction. After meeting with Osmin a couple of times we decided that Aligned was the company to go with. We needed the kitchen and bathrooms redone as well as tile floors throughout. Plumbing and electrical needed to be worked on also. They did a great job on electrical. Adding LED lights, sconces and pendants. The plumber did great work. The tile setter was great as well. He installed 48x48 tile throughout the house perfectly. Not easy to do. He also did a great job tilling the bathroom walls and floors. The one negative was the rain this year. It slowed things down. To be fair, it probably slowed every project in the city. The work is 90% done. But, we are so excited about how our kitchen and bathrooms came out, that we wanted to write this review. read more

Your company rocks and I would highly recommend anyone that needs an ADU to reach out to you. We are beyond happy having an ADU that is perfect! I was very pleased with the end result of the work done overall done by the team working for Aligned construction. We were in a pickle since our original contractor walked out on the job after only 3 months of working. It was very hard to find a contractor that we felt secured and confident they can complete our project of a 2Nd floor addition to our family home. Also hard to find a contractor that would be honest with giving us a good pricing as we were already taken advantage by our first contractor. Meeting Osmin, the owner, he definitely put at easy our concerns and made certain all would be possible. He even brought up things that we could have done in a way that would blend the old part with the new part of the home. We were lucky to have found this company to finish the work. As they indeed made our dreams come true. Being a interior designer in my old trade, I was definitely able to work along with coordinating with the office in regards to have material avail and ready and if I didn't want to do the work of getting material over- they would work with me with getting in touch with their contacts for items to be purchase and deliver from there. Many of their contacts were great in staying within our budgets. Their foreman Alan M. Was amazing in doing his best to try to push forward with the project. We were also lucky to have a inspector who worked with us well and didn't make it impossible to continue on the next step. We are definitely going to use them again in the near future for our future projects. We appreciate all that was done. Thank you so much Aligned Construction. read more

My experience with Aligned Construction has been exceptional. From when I first contacted them regarding the construction of an ADU on my property, they were extremely prompt and professional. Dealing with a construction project was a very new adventure for me and Osmin and his staff were so very helpful with the entire process. The bid I recieved was priced very competitivtely and well within the budget I was workkng with and I was very impressed with the details outlined in the contract as well as the proposed time frame to complete the project. Even with a very unpredictable weather and lots of rain delay, Osmin was able to meet the ending date and with an extremely quality job. Any unexpected costs were fully explained and discussed before moving forward and even with a few modifications, the final project was still within my budget range. His attention to detail was not only in the paperwork, but also in his quality control of the building itself, being on site often making sure all projects were completed properly. He and his office staff were always very prompt in responding to any phone calls or emails which was always very appreciated. I am extremely pleased with the end result and wholeheartedly recommend this company. read more

I've been working closely with Osmin and his team since the purchase of my new house. The work provided is nothing short of exceptional. My wife and I started planning to renovate our kitchen. After several meetings with Osmin, we felt comfortable in expanding the scope of work. With Osmin in the lead, we renovated the whole house. The whole inside of the house is done. We love it!!! We are now working on the outdoor living space. Then we would tackle the garage next. In the meantime, we had recommended several clients and will continue to do so. Fun facts: Ask him about santa barbara fishing. That will put a big grin on Osmin. read more

We are very pleased with the work of Aligned Construction. They had a tight deadline to finish work before move- in and finished it on time. After being previous ripped off by a con artist regarding my steel stud framing, I desperately searched for another contractor to help bring my dream of having a tiny house on wheels to life. I had a 4 month deadline, start to finish, and after meeting countless contractors, I decided to hire Aligned Construction. I couldn't be any happier with their quality, work ethic, and integrity. On a side note, I would like to say that as a woman, it was nice to have a contractor listen to what I wanted without scoffing at me. Osmin and the guys from Aligned Construction helped me with every single thing I asked for--literally every single thing. I had a very detailed tiny house design (with even more details in my mind and I am an extremely picky woman about all of them), but even with the tight deadline, they were able to finish everything on time. I originally hired them for the steel stud framing/sheathing, electrical, plumbing, and window/door installation, but in the end, I needed their help for just about every aspect of the build. Even after the build, I needed help getting the tiny house out of our driveway due to a steep, curved driveway, and Osmin as well as his guys even help us with that. I could not be more grateful! Finally, I want to add that if you're looking for a contractor/company that you can communicate with easily, look no farther. They were easily accessible to reach out to during the entire build. read more

Osmin & his team at Aligned Construction are true professionals and are 100% worth hiring. I had Osmin out to do bids on several different client's projects before one of them decided to move forward, but he never pushed the bid or tried to sell us on anything. His crew came in and completed all of the work in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. I will continue to use Osmin & his team and recommend him to all my friends & clients. Since the very beginning Aligned Construction has been great to work with. They showed up when they said they would and their estimate was very reasonable.  Osmin, his guys and the girls at the office were very friendly throughout. The quality of the work was great and any minor things I seen, they were quick to fix to my satisfaction. I had a back house that needed an overhaul and they did a great job so much so I was considering moving in to it myself.  I did add a lot more projects to their list from the original estimate because I was happy working with them. They paid attention to detail and any problem s that arose they would communicate with me throughout. Every time I had questions whether I called the office or sent an email, they always responded and helped with my questions. I will definetly work with Aligned for all my future projects. I highly recommend them, they are a great team and go above and beyond. Thank you everyone at Aligned for all you've done and continue to do for me. read more

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom and it ruined our kitchen floor. We hired Aligned construction to come and fix the floor, not only did they do a great job with that, but they also gave us some great ideas for our kitchen and basement entrance that they ended up doing for a very reasonable price. 1 year later I hired them to build a patio cover and they were prompt and finished quickly and did a great job. I will be using them in the future for any other projects. -D read more

My management company hired Aligned to fix a toilet issue. Charged almost 200 dollars for less than 20 bucks worth of parts. Over 150 for labor? Come on. On top of that, now they recommend replacing the toilet? Why did you even fix it if you're recommending on replacing the whole thing? read more

I worked with Aligned for the duration of 3 weeks to complete a minor interior remodel of a single family residence. Our scope was limited, so the bid process was straightforward, and Align's price was fair and competitive. Osmin is the owner and was my main contact during the project, and I liked his "get it done" mentality. Osmin is also very accessible and will return calls and emails within the hour, if not less. His workers were respectful and kept the work site neat. The final product was very well-executed. I would highly recommend Aligned to friends looking for a contractor, and I would certainly use them again for work on the house in the future. read more

A kitchen remodel to our 1930 house was accomplished by Aligned Construction in late 2014. This was our second major project with Aligned Construction, and like the first, we very much enjoy the result. The first project added a bathroom, walk-in closet, exterior covered porch and laundry room. That project required its own foundation, interiors and roof and is the most solid part of the house. Clever solutions to problems were achieved all through the project. Highlights include a floor-level walk-in shower, a sliding exterior door to the closet, an attic storage space and bowling alley flooring that matches the existing floors. This latest kitchen remodel took out two walls, horrible linoleum flooring, truly uninspired 1930 layout and a section of exterior wall that had been ham-handedly "improved" in the 1960s, and turned it into a thoroughly modern kitchen with great built-in cabinets, new appliances, new over-the-sink window, LED lighting, rebuilt seamless ceiling, strengthened sub-flooring, great waterproof porcelain flooring and all new plumbing and electrical. When Aligned did the first project, they included electrical upgrades that avoided hassles (like $) when the kitchen went in. Osmin Hernandez oversaw his crews throughout the project and made sure every little detail was just right. In a number of cases he offered creative suggestions that did not add cost, but turned problems into solutions. He incorporated all of our designs, wishes and changes with ease and fair prices. The bottom line is this: They do good work at a very reasonable price. When people ask us for a contractor recommendation, we point them to Osmin at Aligned Construction. read more

From roofing, stucco, flooring-tiles, cabinets, electrical, plumbing, painting...every one of those projects were done on time. My husband and I hired Aligned for a remodel of a California Craftsman. We were thoroughly satisfied with the communication with Aligned as they executed exactly our vision for a 100 year old duplex. Once again Aligned Construction did a fabulous repair job. I was extremely pleased with Aligned Construction. I used them to fix and seal the rooftop patio deck for my rental. This update is long overdue. We used Aligned for a complete down-to-the-studs remodel of a duplex. The building was a California Craftsman and I was looking to bring it back to life and accentuate the craftsman features. Osmin and his crew came through in every detail. I stand by my first review. You get what you pay for and Osmin definitely has a talent for hiring skilled workers. We completely replaced the siding and they installed the new siding with laser-like precision. Not a single crooked piece and the lines carry through as you turn the corners and wrap around the building. We wanted some custom details like a tiled fireplace and floating shelves and again they delivered on every front. Throughout the entire process I was in continual communication with Osmin. I can be a bit of a micromanager but he stayed with me every step of the way. In the end the house came out looking like a life-size doll house - absolutely beautiful. THANKS OSMIN AND JOANNA AND ALIGNED TEAM! read more

I have worked with this general contractor company two times in the past 6 months. The first was a medium job at my condo to resurface/ the balcony, repair the lighter in my fireplace, replace the electrical panel, and add a ceiling light with new box/wiring. The second time was just yesterday at my personal single family home to replace 3 large patches of rotten wood on my 75sqft balcony. In both cases, what I was impressed most was Aligned Construction's high quality of work. Working with Osmin is working with a professional who is polite and courteous, and he holds every one of his workers to the same standard. They will not do a half-way job and run - they will do it correctly before leaving the worksite. For example, the balcony yesterday had been worked on twice by two "handymen" in the past few years, but every time it has eventually leaked causing to mold. The Aligned Construction work quality was visibly superior as Osmin's associate yesterday spent 8am-5pm to replace and seal the patches. First tip I have in working with this company is that you should be very specific with what you want. Osmin will work with you to get it, and it will align your expectations with the final outcome. I trusted this company enough after the first time to ask him to work on my personal home. Now I trust him enough to recommend to others on Yelp. read more

Repair work had to be done to my closet from a long standing roof leak. Osmin and his crew were contracted to take care of the issue. Osmins crew is made up of good workers, very professional, and polite. They prepare the work area well and clean up after each day of work. And Osmin, is a great communicator. He responds to messages and emails very promptly. I really appreciated that HE kept me informed of what was going on with all the repairs. No issues came up with the actual repair work, but I'm under the impression if anything did, Osmin would address it without hesitation. When any future project comes up for me, I know who to contract! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company is highly unethical. Not only did they charge me an arm and leg for a new garage door opener ($700), they refused to return to the property after the system stopped working due to unpaid late fees. Yes, I did pay 2 months late...however, the lateness was a result of miscommunication from the company themselves and my management company. I called and left messages to Alignment regarding payment and when they finally returned my call they said I had to pay the bill through my management company. After everything was said and done, my payment was late...but I feel $300 in late fees is excessive---especially when they never once called me to inquire about payment for invoice or send me advance notice that late fees would be applied. I will NOT use this company again. read more

If you want a beautiful home and amazing service I highly recommend this construction company

Aligned Construction remodeled my two bathrooms and did a stellar job. Their staff were polite, cleaned up daily, and were conscientious about noise and the fact that we always needed one bathroom available since we were living in the house. No job goes seamlessly, so what matters is how people respond. And I am happy to say that in each instance where we had delays caused by late deliveries, or changes that I requested, they responded with terrific customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price. read more
