I booked an appointment for service to my snowblower. When the tech came, he started working on it…read moreand then told me I needed a new choke switch. Never once said anything about anything else. Got a message saying I needed the choke switch and a new carb. The service PM I was getting was a full service. Oil change, spark plug, carb cleaning, belt inspection, etc. The choke switch was replaced and new carb installed. Tech told me via text that he was done and machine was running good. Upon coming home from work, I started looking over machine. Oil was black, spark plug was rusty (so never changed) and the bolts to the cover were dusty so no inspection was completed. When I sent pics, I was told that he didn't change the spark plug bc the machine ran good. They offered to come back but at this point all trust was lost. I paid for the parts but that was it. Yes, the machine starts good but after using it during this snow, the carb is leaking fuel and it does not throttle up at all so were there any adjustments made. I have to stay in #1 and go very slow. To top it all off, I went back and saved all my ring footage and watched what the tech did. Let's just say that the footage don't match what they told me was done. The owner told me that I didnt need to pay but I wanted to pay for the parts as I'm not that type of person. The reason for the review is because how many others do they do this to. If you pay for service, you should get the service you paid for and not what they think. Now I need to take it somewhere else to get it fixed correctly.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I picked up my mower on Friday from getting work done…read moreincluding sharping the blades. Saturday morning one of the first lawns that we cut the one blade came loose resulting in the blade and bolt being bent. My guys had to pick up a new one from Jacks Small Engines as a result. When I brought it to the shop's attention the women try's telling me it's from my guys hitting something and bolts don't randomly come loose and they use impacts. At first she tried telling me that the blade didn't even look like it was sharpened... well if it didn't look sharpened why did I get charged? I was told I can't prove they didn't tight the bolt and they can't prove I hit something. If the blade hit something the blade would have damage on the cutting piece and not just a random bend. The bolt wasn't tighten so it dropped out of the deck and got stuck between the deck and ground. They gave me a blade bolt as "compensation" which didn't help since I had to buy a new one Saturday. All I wanted was a refund on the blades being sharpened since the one had to be replaced as a result of them not tightening the bolts adequately. They did not want to offer anything other than the bolt which wasn't even needed. Absolutely terrible customer service and I will advise everyone not to use them!!

First of all, he was able to fix it in less than 30 mins, probably closer to 20 mins now that I think about it. He was prompt and clear in our communications, timely with his arrival time, and his prices are more than reasonable (should probably raise them, IMO). Lastly, he also wore a mask the whole time he was onsite. I'd definitely hire Dan again and am going to pass his info to my neighbors.
