Security Equipment traces its beginnings to the mid-1960s when it was established as a dealership for both automobiles and tractors, serving the Baltimore area. By 1978 the company had grown steadily and was moved to its current location in southwest Baltimore on 4.8 acres, where Routes 95 and 695 meet. Ten years later, Thomas Drescher purchased the company and continues to serve as president and CEO of the dealership. The Security Equipment team is a close knit group and has an average tenure of 13 years with the company. They include certified shop and road service technicians, expert parts specialists, an experienced sales group and a product support representative who understands the importance of routine equipment maintenance. The same values that have made Security Equipment a wonderful place to work ensure that its customers receive first class treatment. The company has chosen equipment brands that perform all day, every day, and they always deliver excellent parts and service support.

June 1, 1988 as an Equipment Dealership serving the Construction, Landscaping, and Agriculture businesses. We have grown to 29 employs with an average tenure of over 20 years.

Security Equipment Co. traces its roots all the way back to the mid-1960s. In 1988, teacher turned-service-writer Thomas Drescher purchased the company and, in the years since, has worked diligently to ensure that Security Equipment Co. stands strong as a pillar of Baltimore's construction equipment industry, as well as of the overall community.
