My interactions: I inherited a mower that could not make it through a full mowing without crapping out. I checked the filter, drained the lines, topped up the fluids but nothing helped. Lots of folks recommended Ridgeway, this small family-owned business. I called to make an appointment, and they saw me very shortly. They did an inspection and recommended a tuneup (which, it hadn't had for a few years). I took it home and the mower made it through most of a mowing before dying. The second mowing I only made it half way. I called them up, they told me about their 30-day guarantee, and I brought it back. Wayne took a look at it, said he'd do a proper cleaning out of the carburetor and could have it ready for me the next day. He even tested it for 45 minutes to make sure it could go the full time and still mow some grass; that's going the extra mile for your customer! I have a lawn mower that doesn't owe me anything. Even when I have to send it to the farm upstate with all the other old mowers, I will bring my next lawn mower here for servicing because I know they will do a good job on it and will give me a good deal.
