Dr. Roham preformed the plastic surgery for my breast cancer surgery. In the pre-surgery consultation I informed him that I did not plan to have radiation post surgery. He clearly understood my reasoning and understood that he would not need to apply extra tissue to accommodate the shrinkage that occurs with post-surgery radiation. However, he seemingly forgot and I am left with one breast significantly larger than the other. In hindsight, I should have used a sharpie to write instructions to him on my chest. At my post-surgery follow-up, in recognizing his mistake, he had no remedy to offer, neither did he offer an apology for my lopsided breasts. read more

I had a very disappointing experience. He did not follow our plan and put in smaller implants than we discussed. I have a horrible fold in my breasts as a result and have to have them completely redone. Dr. Roam is personable but I did not get what I wanted. I got the breast's HE wanted me to have. I came in for saline and was talked into silicone. I told him on two occasions that I wanted to go bigger than what he was planning but it didn't happen. There was a cancelation the next week so I didn't have to wait as long as usual but at surgery time he let me know that he was have an intern stand in to watch and it would be video taped but I would receive a copy. Which I never did, I was only able to see clips on his tablet. I am assuming he was not familiar with taking and implant out and replacing with a new one. He did assure me he could put a few extra stitches in to give me more cleavage but after surgery said he would have to have me come back in for lipo because it created bunched up skin near my armpits that i had worked so hard to get rid of with excersize. Lipo never happed either. Also, so last minute, I was given a teardrop shaped implant that is horrible and you can see and feel the seems and bumps. He did not offer any solutions any of the times I reached out unhappy, no, embarrassed about my new breast's, except to ask me if I had lost any weight. Dodging correcting his mistakes because I had moved out of state. Big one here! I was rushed through the process so quickly that I never even had a chance for the mandatory presurgery medical exam, which would have shown that it was a danger for me to have ANY surgery, as I was diagnosed with terminal congestive heart failure 6 months later. Hopefully he has improved and listens to his patients and obides by the medical health board legally now but as for me, I am still embarrassed by my breast's and get to show them off to strangers everytime I have a cardiology appointment or meet with the med8cal professionals at the heart transplant center in Phoenix. I was referred here a year ago by Elena who use to be the manager here. I had been going to a Derm in Newport for the last 13 years who relocated to Florida. I was VERY anxious about seeing a different doctor but trusted Elena and made an appt. here. We tried this doctor for the first time with Botox injection. First of all, the front office is very unorganized. We came on time for the appointment and they told us that the doctor is not there and to come back in one hour. The patient room was not as clean as it should.
