I came to Dr. Gaon for what I'm officially calling my "Weight Loss Glow Up" -- because not all of us are mommies! After losing weight, I wanted to finally address the areas that no amount of working out was going to fix. My surgery included Lipo 360, a tummy tuck, breast reduction and lift, and I honestly could not be happier with my decision. From the very beginning, Dr. Gaon listened to exactly what I wanted and never made me feel rushed or pressured into doing anything. I wanted my body to still look like me, just tighter, more proportionate and like the best version of myself -- and that is exactly what he gave me. What I appreciate most about him is how meticulous he is. He truly is a perfectionist and you can tell he takes so much pride in his work. Even during my follow-ups, he has been just as invested in my healing and results as he was on surgery day. His entire team has also been amazing throughout the process. Having major surgery can be scary, but I always felt like I was in good hands and had people I could reach if I needed anything. I'm still healing and watching my results get better every week, but I already feel SO good in my body. This wasn't a "mommy makeover" for me -- this was my Weight Loss Glow Up, and I think we officially need to make that a thing. Thank you Dr. Gaon and your entire team for taking such incredible care of me and giving me a body that finally reflects all the work I've put into myself. I would choose you all over again. read more

Love Dr. Gaon and staff! I got an upper bleph one year ago. Scars undetectable! Best experience. Will be going back.

I had a lip lift with Dr. Gaon in 2021, and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've made. It was clear he lacked experience with this specific procedure, and as a result, I needed a revision lip lift last August with my original plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. I spent nearly $10,000 with Dr. Gaon, only to pay again to have his work corrected because he did not listen to any of the concerns or requests I clearly communicated. Save your money. RESPONDING TO THEIR RESPONSE: How can you respectfully disagree with my experience when you have no idea what I look like now or what I have had to live with since this procedure? You have not seen the long-term outcome, yet you are dismissing the patient's firsthand reality. And how can you suggest I did not "properly" care for myself post-operatively when I am the one who lived through the recovery, followed instructions, and looked at my face in the mirror every single day? That assumption is both inaccurate and insulting. The issue was not a lack of compliance on my part. The issue was the surgical result itself, which ultimately required revision by another surgeon at significant personal cost. My review reflects my honest experience as a patient, and attempting to shift blame rather than acknowledge that experience only reinforces my concerns. read more

Amazing results!! The only regret I only have is not doing this sooner!! Dr. Gaon is an amazing doctor, he knows what he's doing! I was very nervous in doing my upper Blepharoplasty but with his recommendation I felt he was the best choice for me. He has a professional staff that is very caring. Kristen at the front is also amazing!! Thank you I am very happy with my results!! read more

$18k+ for this mess of a tummy tuck... says it my fault due to preexisting conditions which I disclosed prior to the operation. He was all in for the hard sell & quick close, I regret not leaving then. Voicing my dissatisfaction with the results, he delayed saying, "it's not like you have anything going on." Obviously he never fixed the mess he made of my body- I doubt he has the skill to do so. This photo is two years post-op. Avoid this doctor read more

I was very nervous going into the process of having surgery. The fear of being away from my kids and spending money on my body was crippling, but I knew I was so unhappy in my own skin I had to do something. Dr. Gaon was recommended by a friend. Upon first meeting him and his team, I was immediately put at ease. His gentle demeanor, willingness to answer all my questions, slowly and thoroughly, was what ultimately led me to make the best decision for myself I have ever made. My before and afters speak for themselves. I can't believe this is my body now (after having two 10 pound children)! I met Dr. Gaon over a decade ago, to revise another Dr.s work. So when I wanted to do a Mommy makeover it wasn't a question of Who to go see, just When! I place my trust in Dr. Gaon's precise hands, and in his team. Was far more pleased with my results, better than I could have imagined, or dreamt of. My scars are so faint and minimal, and everything is placed so perfectly. Cannot express the level of self esteem Dr. Gaon has given me! I continued with an upper blepharoplasty, and this was so convenient and in office, I already have friends trying to book the same procedure! Jadan helped with every minute detail, and truly cannot recommend him enough! read more

This Practice has no compassion for a patient who is battling stage 4 cancer. I referred my sister to Dr. Gaon and I'm SORRY for doing so. She was planning to have a revision surgery and prepaid for it in full to Dr Gaon. Never was it scheduled nor any surgery performed because shortly after she became ill and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Dr Gaon was notified immediately and several attempts have been made requesting a refund. Her oncologist at The City Of Hope was shocked to hear this and sent a letter to Dr Gaon giving her prognosis and that she was unable to have this surgery moving forward requesting for a full refund be given back to his patient. After several attempts to resolve this with Dr Gaon and his practice management team my sister has been ignored has matter disregarded. This refund is greatly needed to help with her share of treatment costs. Beware of giving this Doctor and money before receiving the treatment. read more

I came in today to see Dr. Gaon for his new in-office procedure called the Snatch Lift, and I had such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, his staff was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time. Dr. Gaon was extremely professional and took the time to address all of my questions before the procedure. I was a little nervous because the procedure is done awake under local anesthesia, but he made me feel completely at ease. I had chin liposuction along with muscle manipulation, and honestly it was a very easy and smooth procedure. What I appreciated most was that Dr. Gaon explained every step of the process, even while he was performing the procedure. It really helped calm my nerves. At one point we were even bonding over Dua Lipa and Sabrina Carpenter while he was doing his thing, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and surprisingly fun. I was worried about being awake for it, but it was honestly a piece of cake. The entire team made the environment feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend Gaon Plastic Surgery. If you're thinking about investing in your confidence, this is definitely the place to go.I'll be following up on this review with my final results. read more

Dr. Gaon and his team are truly exceptional! Without a doubt, he's the best surgeon I've ever been to. I initially had a breast augmentation with a lift last year, and I was so happy with the results that I returned for a small revision (more of a personal preference for aesthetic) and buccal fat removal. I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. Dr. Gaon is incredibly caring, attentive, and detail-oriented. He takes the time to listen and genuinely addresses any concerns with compassion and professionalism. His staff is amazing and super friendly, and very responsive. If you're looking for a plastic surgeon in OC, this is the place to go! read more

I went to Dr. Gaon for an upper blepharoplasty and was beyond impressed with his skillset, professionalism and attention to detail. Dr. Gaon took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of the questions I had and responded with empathy and brilliance. Not only is he PHENOMENAL, but so is his entire team (specifically nurse Tina, Kristen and Jadan). The ladies of the office provided the best customer service I've ever experienced and were responsive immediately when I needed help with anything (like when the pharmacy got my prescription wrong- Kristen fixed the issue within 20 minutes). I'm a week out of the in-office procedure and love my results so far - my only regret is not finding Dr. Gaon sooner! He and I discussed other procedures I plan on getting, so I'll be a return patient; the nearly 4-hour drive from my home to Newport Beach is totally worth it - I cannot recommend Gaon Plastic Surgery enough! Thank you for boosting my confidence, Dr. Gaon, I'm forever grateful! read more

I am beyond happy with my results so far and I am only a month out. Dr. Gaon is amazing. He is always so responsive and takes the time during appointments to answer all of your questions in detail and in a scientific way, which is something I haven't experienced with many other doctors. I feel so much better about myself, mostly because of the incredible job he did. I trusted him completely with the size and placement based on my body, and the results exceeded my expectations. I also had a CO2 laser treatment with him and he was just as thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly. I highly recommend Dr. Gaon for any procedure. Mastoplexy. Lift. Lippo fat transfer. & new implants. I immediately had a good feeling about having my procedure done with Dr Gaon. I feel better as I was having extreme fatigue everyday and have not had it since the removal of old implants. They look amazing'. Also his staff and surgery team are all perfection. I am So Happy. Dr. Gaon was my choice after consulting with several doctors in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach. I've had a career in medical sales and I can attest to Dr Gaon's top notch surgical and communication skills. Dr. Gaon's office is extremely well run. His support team are all great people who I enjoyed working with. Even the anesthesiologist, Dr. Li, took the time to send me a very nice text the evening before my surgery asking me if I had any questions or concerns. My surgical results and post-op care were excellent. Because of the care I received I've since recommended Dr. Gaon to family and friends who were all equally impressed and had excellent results. read more

Well, to start off this is probably going to be a very long review. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Gaon and his entire staff. I was involved in an unfortunate situation, which led me to have to make a very hard mental and emotional decision for myself. I started researching surgeons in and out of my area. From Riverside County, LA County to Orange County. I had several phone conversations and a few in person consultations. I just couldn't find the right match for me until I called Dr. Gaon's office. I explained briefly what I was needing to be seen for. I was given an appointment the very next Monday where I was welcomed so sincerely. The office was very clean very tastefully not over the top decorated very warm feeling the moment I walked in. Every one in the office was so kind, sincere, professional and very patient with me. I knew from the moment I met with Dr Gaon and his staff, this was the place for me. With a difficult decision that I had to make, I went back-and-forth, changing my mind more than once. I was so nervous and was having to make a decision that I didn't expect. I was going through not only physical issue, but it was affecting me emotionally as well. Everyone was so kind, considerate, sympathetic, and empathetic to my situation. I had every single question answered and explained thoroughly. And trust me there was a lot of questions. The patience, understanding, and sincerity from everyone was amazing. I never felt pressured to make a decision. I walked out with a surgery scheduled in four weeks. December 2nd I had my surgery which went amazing. The surgical center was very clean, everyone was very kind and made me feel very at ease. The next day I went for my postop back at Dr. Gaon's office and had the same amazing experience that I did the other times I was there. Dr Gaon did an amazing job I have healed tremendously. I feel amazing and so confident thank you so very much Dr Gaon. Every time I have called the office with questions, I have never been felt that any of them were silly are not important. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Gaon and his girls in the office. Thank you all so very much. read more

Dr. Gaon is incredibly knowledgeable and talented! Very thoughtful and patient with his execution in producing desired laser skincare results! Grateful to have someone I undoubtedly trust. I have been thinking about having an upper bleph for years but when my friends came to Dr. Gaon for the same procedure and had amazing results I knew I had to have a consult. Any worries or reservations I had about the procedure went away after speaking to Dr. Gaon and his staff. They all were super helpful and made the experience so easy. I had the procedure in office and it went amazing. I have had no pain from start to finish and 3 weeks after my results are perfect! I will definitely come back to Dr. Gaon for other future procedures and surgeries. read more

I think Dr. Gaon is a master surgeon. I have seen the work he did on my friend and it is amazing.

I received an upper & lower bleph with lower lid fat grafting and I couldn't be happier with the results and my experience with Dr. Gaon and his staff. I had a few consultations and as soon as I had mine with Dr. Gaon, I booked my operation that day. He was extremely patient with all my questions and took his time providing all the information needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Gaon and will be going back for all future procedures. read more

I can't say enough about how much I love this man and his team! I have had many consultations for mommy makeover through other Drs, even liposuction centers. When I met with Dr Gaon his entire demeanor was different than any other. He was gentle, very respectful as I've had many just touch and grab wherever as they spoke, but he was very respectful, and took the time to fully educate and explain all options and reasons for his recommendations. He's gentle, individualized and very honest and authentic about everything he is doing. His staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly and go above and beyond to help and support. I ended up having a tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction procedure- which I was also terrified about. I've heard and seen horror stories and still almost felt I was blindly trusting him; however the way his OR nurse at the surgery center spoke of him and the respect he has from his staff and even the recovery place I went to afterwards is impressive and very assuring. I'm a bit over a week post op and everything is healing wonderfully. I can honestly say I trust him 10000% & feel he's the best care I can be under. He is 5 stars and more and I am truly grateful I found him! read more

Dr. Gaon and his staff are the best in Newport Beach! In July of 2021 I had a tummy tuck and within a week I was up and moving around with little to no pain. After 10 days, I was out to dinner with friends loving how everything turned out. I assumed the way I healed was a normal recovery until a friend had the same procedure from a different plastic surgeon in Newport Beach a few months after me. Her recovery was horrible. It took over a month for her to walk straight and go outside on her own again. Also, her scaring now is very noticeable where mine is very clean and smooth. After comparing our experiences, I realized, Dr. Gaon and his staff would be the only plastic surgeon team I would recommend!! read more

I am 73 with a family history of very loose skin in the neck and lower face. I play with my grandkids and while holding my 3 year old granddaughter, she reached up to my neck and began to play with my floppy neck skin. That did it! I don't want to look so much older due to loose skin. My wife's friend recommended Dr Gaon. I was nervous because I didn't want to look like those people who have faces that look like their face is being blown with 150mph wind. After researching, Dr Gaon was my pick. The photo below on the left was the night before surgery. One the right was exactly 14 days after the surgery. My face still has some swelling which is normal, but I could not be happier. I even went to a restaurant 5 days after surgery. fI you are looking for any kind of facial improvement that you want to look natural and not like some of those celebrity stretched faces, Dr Gaon has to be your choice!! read more

Dr. Gaon and his team are top notch. From the minute you enter the door you are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Being an Orange County native I can sympathize with the stereotype that plastic surgeons cater exclusively to the stereotypical "elite" but I can testify they are the exact opposite :) The entire staff will address your concerns without judgement, and Dr. Gaon specifically is honest in terms of expectations and an expert at his craft. I have undergone both lipo suction and most recently an upper blepharoplasty and am in love with the results. He's also the only one I trust to do my botox. I'm a life long customer and I guarantee you won't regret a visit of your own. Thanks again to the entire office for such a great experience. read more

I went to Dr Gaon because my girlfriend had just had her breasts redone and I had always wanted to get mine done. She was very happy with the work, so I went in for a consultation. I had my surgery on 9/1/22 and I couldn't be happier with my results. I went with his size recommendation instead of what I was thinking, and I'm glad I did! I would recommend Dr Gaon to anyone looking for plastic surgery, I would definitely use him again for other purposes too, his website and Instagram are full of before and after pictures that prove the quality of his work, even mine are on there! my first plastic surgery there three years ago sadly today after going through three surgeries with him, I'm updating my review. Here is the reason. I'm very unhappy with my leg lipo results . after spending more than 40k w them and having 3 surgeries there, they didn't take care of me. They never followed up with me after my leg lipo and 8 months passed surgery I visited the office (10 days ago) to express my dissatisfaction about the result . There is no change in the look and size of my legs. I spent 10 K to get rid of fat to some extent and have reduction my thighs size , neither of those happened . Disappointingly they didn't take responsibility for fixing my thigh. Brittany told me fixing my leg is contingent to me taking an extra cellulite procedure and spending another chunk of money. Patient satisfaction in plastic surgery is 101 of this business and the surgeon is responsible to meet with patients expectation to a good extent. I have a lot of friends who are plastic surgeon, and they take care of their patients. If the patient is not satisfied with the result, they redo the procedure. Unfortunately, Dr Gaon's practice is more of a money pit rather than a result oriented practice. read more

The Surgeon is highly professional, but his office staff is not. I had a poor experience with his patient coordinator, who was rude, dismissive, and catty in response to some of my questions. A few months later, I tried to book botox and they turned me away *for writing a review* based on that experience. Unfortunately there are a lot of low-integrity people in this area, and it appears that Dr. Gaon has some of those women working for him. read more

I decided to get into shape 2 1/2 years ago and lost 80 lbs thru WW. At age 62 the results were fantastic as long as I was completely clothed. Went from a size 18 to size 4. Despite having children 20+ years prior I opted for a Mommy Makeover. I decided upon Dr. Gaon due to recommendation, location to my home and I was impressed with his surgery plan. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift with mesh and breast augmentation. The process was smooth from beginning to end. Office staff was amazing coordinating appointments and paperwork for employment. The surgery and recovery was absolutely better than I could have expected. The pain and discomfort from surgery was almost nonexistent. I took prescription as directed by Dr Gaon for a week and literally never experienced pain. I actually never felt any pain or discomfort with breasts whatsoever. The results of procedures are amazing. Scars are healing nicely especially the tummy tuck. I have every faith they will fade well. Friends say my breasts and abs look like I'm 25 not 63. Is my body perfect.... No however it is 110% better than it was and worth ever dollar spent. Highly recommend Dr Gaon Plastic Surgery. read more

Dr. Gaon is an artist and a genius sculptor! I don't know how else to describe his talent in restoring and reshaping a woman's body. From the first appointment, where my daughter and I met Dr. Gaon, we felt that we were in such competent hands. He immediately puts you at ease with his respectful, focused and kind approach; answering all questions; discussing all options; and taking the time to explain the entire processes for both of my surgeries. Even though I was very confident that I was in the best hands, the results of his surgeries are nothing short of amazing. My daughter and I were both amazed at his ability to see what should be there and isn't and to redesign the body that had been devastated by a mastectomy. One week after a left breast reconstruction, right breast lift, and liposuction, I drove myself to my follow-up appointment. It is now 9 days post surgery, and at age 69, I'm up and about with minimal discomfort. Furthermore, Dr. Gaon has the most incredible staff. I can't say enough about Kristen and all the ladies in his office that are always so sweet and always willing to answer all questions and address any and all concerns with complete patience and kindness. I am truly blessed to have had Dr. Gaon and his amazing staff perform all the work needed to make me whole again. Thank you, Dr. Gaon! read more

My procedure was a facelift. I told Dr. Gaon to leave my eyes alone. He disregarded my decision and decided to inject the area under the eyebrows with filler which didn't take. I now have loose skin. This was never a problem prior to the surgery. When I asked him to fix it, he decided to charge me $2000 to fix the problem that he created. I have not been back.
