I would like to start by saying that the staff is very sweet/ they were kind and helpful. I really wanted to have a great experience and fully intended to have my procedure here, but I'm just as hurt to leave this review as they may be to see it. I have waited years to have this surgery and I thought I had finally found my doctor. My consultation for a breast reduction felt rushed and awkward. As mentioned, front staff & nurse are great. She pulled me in and took quick photos. Then in came the rest. I had two extra people in there in top of Dr.Seify and the nurse. They weren't introduced to me nor was I explained what they were there for. Definitely was not prepared to have a viewing party... but as the 5 of us stood there in that small room staring at my breasts and going over a few observations (that I was young/ he didn't think they were that big/ one was bigger than the other) he made me feel like he was completely uninterested and unconvinced that I was prepared for such a surgery. Im a size F. I get his hesitation about my age (and I'm almost 30 so not a crazy age) but I reassured him I have been tested for everything under the sun before considering this. He said he wants all of those tests results, plus a mammogram. I waited a month before that consultation and specifically asked if they needed tests or documentation before my consultation. They told me no. I left this consultation feeling like I wasted so much time and had more questions than information or reassurance. Anyway... next consultation comes around. Mammogram confirmed "dense" breast tissue. Tests are normal. Yet it still seems like he's still trying to discourage me from the procedure. I'm an easy candidate at this point. But there was still push back. He didn't seem like he was concerned or being extra careful or considerate- no- he seemed condescending and uninterested in my case. I explained I had already been approved for this procedure once before, surgery date and everything, and I've been waiting years due to pandemic scheduling. I've been to physical therapy. I am in PAIN. I am ready. They ask for even more documents for insurance and tell me a scheduler will call me back to arrange the surgery. Well that was Sep. 13th. It is now October 2nd and i still don't have a surgery date, or a plan of action? Next steps? Something? I feel ghosted. I'll just take this as the last of MANY signs to go somewhere else. read more

it's been about a year since my awake lipo procedure for my chin/neck. i would say i am happy with my results ! i think dr.seify overall did what i ask which is to eliminate as much fat as possible. staff- was not friendly as far as the front desk go. i def was given some attitude and i didn't appreciate that. the women who did my consultation and gave me pricing as well as scheduled my procedure booked me and never spoke to me again. i think she got let go or something, but it was strange to me how they handled it. they called me the night before the procedure after already confirming my appointment that morning letting me know that i had two options to cancel the procedure or to come in at 10 am instead of the originally 3pm appointment. this was so unprofessional and really stressful. i didn't even get an apology ! they said that's how medical treatments go! i have never heard of that before. also there was no follow up at all ! not even a phone call , i was the one who called them and they were annoyed! so did i like his work ? yeah i think it was good did i like the overall customer service, not really. i think he should work on bettering his staff a bit. read more

The first time I met Dr Seify was in 2016/17. My mom was having reconstructive surgery after healing from a mastectomy. Dr Seify had such a pleasant disposition and really put my mom at ease. A prior cyst removal with my dermatologist left a small hole on my forehead that would become irritated in hot weather or when washing my face. Dr. Seify is a modern day Michaalangelo! If I were to state everything it would be a novel so I will try to sum it up in one post. First off, I would never let anyone else work on me but him. I'm not the only one to say this, there are doctors that have treated me who know him and have said, "I have seen him work, and I would never let anyone touch me but him". I go to Dr Seify to have all sorts of things done, but how I was introduced to him as a patient during the most difficult time of my entire life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer almost 4 years ago. When my GP broke the news to me, I literally felt every limb turn cold. Cancer was the only thing I feared. They offered me two different cancer treatment centers, and I asked the nurse which one she would choose, it was UCI or Compassionate Cancer Center, the nurse said - "I heard compassionate had realty good reconstructive surgery" so I chose them. That is when I met Dr. Seify. I had a special request in terms of reconstruction because I was adamant about removing both of my boobs, (sorry I prefer to describe them that way). I had heard horror stories from women, I was newly married- only a year, and the last thing I wanted was to be mangled. I wanted to keep everything in tact, so I asked Dr Seify if that could be done. After some tests and all that fun stuff, he said he would definitely do everything he could to keep the girls in tact! Well he was successful! The cut was done like a T sort of, to keep the original cosmetic part of the girls. Before the final implants went in, I had temporary implants that he inflated over a few month period. Not once did I ever feel any pain. In fact once my boobs were removed, I spent two days on the hospital and wanted to attend my daughters first dance recital so the hospital contacted Dr Seify to see about my being released and I was feeling fine, so he approved it and I went from the hospital to her dance recital, two days after the surgery! 8 months later I contracted cellulites due to being exposed to someone who had MRSA - while having lip injections at a different spa, Dr Seify had me admitted to the hospital and frequently came to check on me. one of the nurses asked "Is that your plastic surgeon" and I said "Yes" They were blown away that he came to check on me, they said that isn't common! I can say this, way he treats his patients is beyond words, he is very gentle and caring and his work is flawless - his care for his patients is beyond any doctor I have ever met. Now for the fun stuff - if you want to feel absolutely beautiful he is who you go to! I have had eye injections, lip injections, Botox, fillers, even fat grafting while under only local anesthesia, and it always looks natural because he doesn't go overboard. When I was awake during the fat grafting which is liposuction from one area and the fat put into another area, I witnessed somewhat of how he works during surgery - of course I felt nothing and couldn't see everything - but you can still get some sort of an idea. It was like witnessing a sculptor at work. I swear I am not exaggerating - his movements are so smooth, not jumpy, brutal or aggressive just flowing movements. Like I said, I could go on about Dr. Seify, he creates masterpieces - my boobs look perfect, not scarred up or chopped up, my face always comes out amazing. If your looking for a fountain of youth, or a way to reverse aging - or whatever your in to, trust me - don't even take a risk and go somewhere else! He is the best! read more

While waiting for authorization for breast reconstruction Dr Seify talked me into a neck lift ... I sat that because I had never thought of any other surgery when I saw him that first visit. I was told I would have 2 small incisions by my ears ... I woke up with an additionally 2 large incisions with staples in my head. With zero post surgery instructions I continued to drive turning my neck per usual. Wasn't till a few months later speaking with a woman who had same surgery from another DR that I was supposed to never turn my head for weeks... a few days after surgery my head incisions tore open and I had to deal with infections by myself as Dr Seify said to me on my way to him " unless the pus is dropping onto your shirt don't come" ... Yes I am quoting him. l stayed up all night spraying peroxide into my open head incisions and scraping the gore out with q tips and mirrors propped up with absolutely no help from anyone ... 4 months later I saw these cords popped out under my chin which I never had to begin with. Just loose skin . Now 4 years later I posted review on Real Self and he immediately asked me to see him. Lol I drove to see him and he refused to do a thing for me as now I have a equally saggy creapy with cords neck. PLEASE do your research !! This is the 2nd botched surgery I have had ... these Drs think they're God and use us to practice on .. and oh he sold me a $125 neck cream the day I returned after years that burned my neck so bad water hurt for days. I told him and he again ignored my experience. I am an esthetician and micro blade artist and do not have sensitive skin. He suggested the cream ... This is a review on the surgical center. Last week I had surgery at the surgery center at Newport Plastic and have nothing but amazing things to say. The nurse who called me the night before was very informative of everything I needed to have and do to have a smooth visit to the center.
