This new Algerian bakery offered a very good selection of unique baked goods with welcoming, helpful, friendly service from the two charming owners. I tried two different pastries. Each was delicious in its own way, but the Napoleon pastry was especially good with its layers of cream. The dining area was nice, clean and basic. Background music would have been a nice addition. The pastry cases offered Algerian pastries, along with cakes, tortes, eclairs, baklava and cookies. They also offered bottled cold drinks and coffee. Overall, excellent! I look forward to trying more of their unique pastries.

Algerian Delights, there is so much to say~ There is a wide assortment of desserts to choose from, and each item looks beautiful. I went there specifically to eat mille feuille, otherwise known as napoleon, and I can understand why it's their most popular item. There aren't too many places in Kansas that sell napoleon, and it was delicious. You can tell even without eating everything that every item offered has had a lot of thought, time, and expertise put into it. In addition to the napoleon, I purchased some fruit cake, chocolate cake, as well as an eclair for my other family members to try, and they loved it. I hope more people find the time to visit this place, it deserves so much more attention~

So so delicious! Best pastries I've had here in KC. The Baklava and Napoleon were especially good!

One section is totally secluded for studying or working while the other is in a working bakery where you can see bread being made! I enjoyed the matcha, it was a little sweet which was a nice flavor. The coffee cake was moist and thick. I also ordered biscuits and gravy, which was unique because I think the sausage was a chorizo. It was yummy. I liked that you order at the counter. It made the ordering process super quick

You are definitely paying premium for your drink but especially the baked goods as their bread is all made in house by Ibis Bakery. Now more than one barista helped me review the massive menu. Payton ended up taking my order: CBS with MIXED GREENS, MATCHA TEA and a MUDSLIDE made with SOY MILK! The space is very large with multiple seating areas, quiet corners, plenty of open dining and enclosed room dining as well. It has a walkthrough to the bakery side along with mini store selling cups, Messner Farms merchandise and more. Now I really enjoyed my CBS: marinated chicken, bacon, red onion, cheddar cheese, tomato and chipotle mayo on brioche potato roll.. sounds pretty good huh! It was devine! Those combined ingredients made for one of the best chicken sandwiches hot or cold (because I could finish it in one sitting) I've had! Now I picked at the chicken solo and it didn't have too much flavor but as a sandwich everything comes together well! I wasn't too impressed with the Mudslide.. it was dreary, no hit of chocolate or creme so I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. My mom said the match with honey syrup was decent. Everything for the price definitely ensured my only trip.
