Food is always phenomenal. The service is always kind and helpful whenever I go. My favorite is the environment and how it gives a mom and pop comforting feeling. You can never go wrong with Alfredo's Pizza!

Amazing! You won't regret! I went with a decent sized group that squeezed into the small pizza place with two tables inside and a couple outside. I do not have a photo of the turkey sub I ate because I INHALED IT. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread alone was fantastic. Lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. The Italian dressing complemented the turkey and greens perfectly. My friends said the pizza was fantastic and the calzone was one of the best they has ever had. Please come visit this family owned business! Even the people eating outside were like "It's good right?" to us because they know it's amazing.

This is a hidden gem!! From what I saw all their food is freshly made. I called in a pizza order and arrived early. I sat inside to wait for it and I saw that he was making all the pizzas that were being called in. He definitely is a multi tasked. As I was waiting he was working on a couple pizzas, cooking some paste that smelled amazing and chopping up my salad. I received my order and let me say the food was so good! I had a pizza and Greek salad. It was late night close to closing time so I couldn't stay there and eat my freshly made pizza. But the ambience looks very chill inside and they also have outside seating.

My favorite item on the Menu. The Alfredo's Burger Special with Garlic Fries. Always a 5 burger!

Absolute love this place! This is my daughter and I's favorite pizza spot! The food is so good and the prices are great! The owner here is very nice and we have gotten along since the first time we came. The cleanliness is always on point here. I always see them coming out and any moment to clean up and reorganize the tables. Will definitely continue to be a loyal customer here!

Alfredo's empty restaurant ~1 hour before closing.

Unclear why I was refused service. My gf was craving fries while I wanted a slice, so we compromised and I got her food first. Before even going inside Alfredo's I'm being shooed away from the tables because of the other food I'd just bought (which I had no intention of taking inside, see photo). Even after clarifying I wished to buy pizza and asking for service/if I could at least eat pizza there, the guy in the restaurant just kept repeating "No, no... I'll get fired" and refused to even look at me. Not sure if it's because it was an off Thursday for the guy, or because I'm black.. but if the guy was so rude it's hard to tell, that's poor service enough.

I'm so glad we found this place on our way back from the beach. First of, the owner, Mr. Alfredo is absolutely amazing. His customer service is above and beyond. For example, when we came in it was just us so I had close the door because we were cold. I felt bad because I'm sure it was hot in the kitchen. Later on some customers came in and when they left the door was left open. Mr. Alfredo asked if I wanted it closed. That is one observant owner. He frequently checked in on us to see if we were alright. Most of all, you visibly saw him and his staff wash hands. For example, he handled a customer's money--he washed his hands. He came from the kitchen--he washed his hands. I can guarantee you everything is clean! As for the food, DELICIOUS! The pizza was cooked just right. Flavourful. The pasta cooked to perfection. Flavourful as well. To top it off, when the food got cold on our table; it remained delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Added to my favourite list. Thank you for your hospitality Mr. Alfredo.

The owner is very kind ! Two pepperoni slices. Very good.

We started off in the bar area before moving outside, and both spaces had their own charm. The design was definitely one of my favorite things about this place! As for the food, we tried three different pastas, including their signature pasta for the day. I wish I could remember the name because when I tell you that pasta was AMAZING! So creamy, full of flavor, and seasoned perfectly. I'm still thinking about it, and my biggest regret is not ordering another one to go lol. Our waiter was great as well! Very welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, experience was 10/10. The food was delicious, but the design and atmosphere are what really stood out to me. Definitely a place I'd visit again!

Our server was great as she explained to us the whole menu and our plates were changed every time it was full so they are very attentive. We got: Gem Caesar - nothing too special about this one, wish it had sort of nuts/fruits to elevate the taste. It was pretty normal salad 7.5/10 Charred octopus - we really enjoyed this octopus dish. We looked the romesco as it paired well with the octopus 8/10 Steamed Mussels: Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of this dish because some of the clams tasted very sour and bitter, while others tasted fine. For a restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide, I expected better quality control when it comes to the freshness of the seafood. Serving clams that taste off was disappointing and took away from the overall experience. 5/10 Spicy Pomodoro - this was a must try! We loved the basil oil and ricotta together. This really elevated the rigatoni. 9/10 Squid ink mafaldine - we wished that this was more seafood tasting rather than a more meaty taste to it. Was not a big fan of the nduja base on this. The pasta was really fun though! 7/10 Banana pudding tiramisu- would probably come back just to eat this LOL. This banana pudding might be the highlight of the whole dinner. I can eat this all by myself if I could! 12/10

The experience was amazing from the welcoming of our waitress and the detailed menu descriptions she gave to fun fact about the name of the restaurant! The restaurant was well lit and sounded like everyone was having a great time, laughing and catching up with one another! As well as the staff helping each other out and making sure everyone was satisfied! Angelica, our waitress, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, as well as the rest of the staff! She helped us pick our entrees and appetizers as well. Angelica made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal from making sure our drinks were refilled or bringing another round of drinks, to bringing clean plates for every entree we received! The bone marrow and branzino was definitely a 100/10, my brother who hates fish actually tried it and loved it! The bone marrow left everyone at the table speechless! The bone marrow, mussels and clams, chicken liver, branzino and any pasta are the best although the pizza is great too, the best is to end the meal with a chocolate Bundino. My only criticism as of recently has been the wine staff, the last few times I have mentioned that I personally don't like the taste of natural wine and have asked for recommendations to suit my taste the sommelier actually said " so you like to drink chemicals then " , I didn't let it ruin my evening and the food was still excellent but their really isn't a place for that attitude. I am an avid wine collector and as the customer it's the wine staffs job to make the customer happy by finding a bottle they will like, not push their misinformed opinions on the customers. Management would be served well with some re-education in the art of customer service to the wine team.

They focus on Japanese Italian fusion pastas and are a good option if you want to try Japanese foods in the area besides sushi or ramen. My absolute favorite dish of theirs is the Mentai Cream Pasta, so much so that I can't fully enjoy any other Mentai Cream Pasta anywhere else because I would just wish I'm having the one from here! It's so creamy and rich without being too heavy. The mentai savory without tasting too fishy either. The cream is perfect and not too watery at all. Rarely, wheb I want to change it up, I'll order the Uni Pasta. Their uni has a really "melts in your mouth" kind of quality and has a really distinct flavor without it being overpowering. I have yet to try any other dish since I already have my two favorites, but each dish comes with fresh bread and a side salad to start. Maybe one day I'll venture to other things on their menu but for now, I'll stick to my faves. Their service is quite quick and they are very friendly. The vibe is laid back yet perfect for a date night, I'd argue even for a first date. Relax yet intimate. Also, I love how theres bag hooks under the tables at the counter seating! Parking is ample in the plaza but since it is walking distance from the Little Tokyo Village if you were to park anywhere there it would be fine to walk to. Their hours aren't like a regular restaurant. They are closed on Mondays, open first at 11:30am-2pm and usually open again at 5pm for dinner time so plan accordingly. Everyone I've introduced to Pasta e Pasta absolutely loves it and if you ever were thinking of trying it out, this is your sign to go!

No detail is overlooked. Beautiful design -- reminds me of what your Italian grandma's dining room would look like if she had great taste. We took a Lyft since the parking situation is tough (but there is a paid lot down the street) and we were running late.I called and left message that we were running 15 minutes late and they got my voicemail and they were great about. Table was available right away. Cocktails were impressive - and we started with a dirty martini and a Negroni blanco. The garlic bread made with Bub & Grandma's bread is a clear winner. Our server Emerson was top notch and steered us through the menu and drinks and was informative and friendly as very professional. When he'd walk through dining room, he was scanning to see if anyone was trying to catch his eye. And when I did he came right over. None of this look straight ahead stuff I sometimes see when it's a busy night. You can get out of Donna's for a reasonable price if you stick to garlic bread, salad and one of their excellent pasta dishes (5 of the dishes are in the $25-$28 range). We splurged and got the scampi (from France) what a sauce, truffle gnocchi, amazing chicken Marsala with amazing mushroom sauce $32) and the Cesar salad was delicious and not mailed in. We ordered 1 dessert (panna cotta with pistachio brittle and fresh figs) and they brought a tiramisu and tiny glasses of their own limoncello out on the house. We also tried 1 glass of their special vermouth since we are vermouth lovers. A++++ experience all round and it was a high level of ingredients and food -- chef and his team are top notch. I now need to find out who's the chef in that kitchen because they've built an excellent team. Donna's slyly calls itself just a "red sauce Italian restaurant" but I'd say that's a real understatement...and I think it's a great date night or small group place because it's intimate and you can hear your table partners talk. I don't recall any music playing - just the warm brown background noise of fun conversation. We ate early (my preference these days) and if you don't see any openings for reservations, ask Resy to give you an alert -- you'll get notified when reservations open up. Emerson said they always hold some tables for walk ins. PS -- I normally don't leave such long reviews, but I have some friends who are chefs and who own restaurants - and when I see other Yelp reviews where someone leaves a one star because the hostess was allegedly rude when everything else is great -- I just hate to see how it can affect a restaurant. I have no relationship with this restaurant at all. I don't know any anyone who works in it or owns any part of it, but I just don't like to see people abuse the reviews -- the restaurant business is tough as it is. And as someone who has worked downtown and driven through Echo Park for 30 years - I think Donna's is a great addition to Echo Park.

Been here no? Okay what would you like to order. Puts the order in. No real presence in it. Didn't even bring the birthday desert that we ordered, the busser did. Which is fine but just seemed so irrelevant that was came here to celebrate a birthday. I think we saw the busser more than the waiter. We got the oxtail meatballs, and I forgot the name but it's the risotto fried balls, focaccia, and we shared a carbonara and a tiramisu. I'm sorry but everything was very bland and mid. Needed to order butter for the bread and it didn't help much. I've dined at a lot of different restaurants and my carbonara I make at home with cut bacon strips tasted the same as carbonara here. It was essentially a bowl of egg with noodles barely any parm and cut strips of fried bacon. The tiramisu we ordered for the birthday desert was pulled out of a fridge, and tasted store bought. My husband and I both rated the food out of 1-10 and we both said 5. Wasn't good and wasn't bad. Maybe it was what we ordered. Everyone got the same thing. Maybe because the waiter recommended? Spaghetti and their top salad. Overly hyped, as a lot of the reviews said. It was packed. If you want a hyped place with tables filled go here.
