1. The car is a 2014 so it cannot have parts that are over 20 years old. And was it "prone to" failure or had it already failed. 2. The car was driven in but had to be towed away from the shop as it was not drivable. I guess it was "prone to" fail when i drove it in and failed white it was there. Not a 100% proof of damages taking place at the shop but it is more than likely that it did (dealer also confirmed the likelihood). However, this is not the basis of my negative review. 3. The basis of the review are facts: misdiagnosing and charging for tasks that were not complete. The pics provide proof of that, showing the invoice from this shop, the invoice from the dealer, and another independent shop. I encourage others to share their experience. I may be an isolated case but if this is a common practice, share so other potential customers can be aware. read more

My '75 Fiat 124 Spyder has been giving me problems. I haven't been able to drive it much lately so that's part of the problem. The longer an old car sits, the more it remembers it's old. I towed my car there and as soon as it arrived, they jumped on it. I got a call the next morning and they explained everything going on. I asked for a quote pieced out between a couple things in order of priority and they came back with a reasonable number so we went ahead. 3 days later it's ready and I could t wait to drive it. Problems that I've had since buying it and through 2 other shops were completely resolved. The car was purring when I picked it up! I've had the car for 3 years and have never driven longer than 30 min at a time because of little issues that come together once the car heats up. Driving back home from Burbank took me almost 1hr and the car drove beautifully. So happy with the service and I know I found my new mechanic. read more

Owner of a 2018 Stelvio here: Got referred to this shop by fellow "Alfist" from r/AlfaRomeo on reddit, it is really hard to find an independent shop that specializes in Alfa. Did an oil change, and inspection for a potentially leaky drive shaft, (it was suggested by another technician from a different shop, so I came in for second opinion). Turned out it was just factory grease. I would keep an eye out on this and provide update in the future. I requested to change the brake fluid since it had never been done by dealer, which was also suggested to get it done by another technician. But they did a test and let me know moisture level is still within safe limit, no need to waste money at this point. I will definitely come back again for any repairs or services. read more

I'm a car enthusiast so I was so happy to get the opportunity to have a look underneath the car with them to see if there are leaks or anything of note. Got some basic maintenance done here which was affordable and quick. I had some troubles getting smog done but they got the car to pass after some tuning. I own an Audi Q5 that had 2 accidents within one year and the repairs were done perfectly, quickly and for a very fair price. They went far and beyond with their service and recommendations - even telling me what I do NOT need to have done. I bought an out of state 1976 Spider not realizing that I would have smog issues. I took it to Onofrio and he knew exactly what to do. He replaced a faulty part (Thermostatic Actuator) and took it to a smog shop they work with, multiple times, and made adjustments until it passed. I took my 1974 Alfa Spider to Vittorio for a very loose steering column. I had already taken it to another alfa shop in No California and was told that parts to repair were no longer available and that replacement parts would need to be made by a machinist from scratch. Vittorio however immediately recognized the problem and his, being an old shop, had the missing / damaged used parts on hand. Two hours later I now have a rock solid steering wheel. I couldn't be more pleased. The price was fair and I will definitely go back for other projects.
