Last night right before sunset a large tree limb broke off and landed on both our and our neighbor's roofs. We contacted Alex's Tree Service shortly thereafter to see if they could come out on a Sunday to remove it. Alex responded within 20 minutes to say he could come by after completing another job he had scheduled in the morning. He arrived as planned early this afternoon and did a fantastic job. Writing this review unprompted. We saw Alex in our neighborhood working another house and called. He responded quickly and came out to bid the next day. His pricing was very fair and he knew what he was talking about. He and his team actually cut around a few bird's nest to save them. It's really nice to know the person bidding your job is actually the one working it on site, so there are no errors. His whole team was great and they were in and out in 2-3 hours. Alex helped me pruned my fully grown pecan tree in mid January this year at a very reasonable price, of course not the lowest bid but not the highest either. I was impressed by his knowledge and his attention to details when he came out for a quotation. He spotted every tree for health status on my lawn as he walked from the front of the house and to the back, that's part of his job nature which is a very nice trait of him that I don't see from others. Alex communicated regularly with me regarding the weather and the timing of the job... we had hoped for earlier in the week but the rain held him off until today. He texted me when they were on their way. The crew worked together brilliantly and they were in and out quickly, were careful about the bird nests, and sealed off the big cuts. Alex and his crew did an outstanding job recently removing a rotting tree from our back yard. We recently bought our house, and had been meaning to deal with this tree for quite some time. One sunny, calm day, a large branch fell from it. We began to think that the tree was even more unstable than we'd thought, and became concerned for our safety. I called Alex and he came out that day to give us an estimate. I had family in town so I couldn't be there when he came by, but he called me promptly and gave me an estimate. He and his crew were at our house by 8:10 the next morning, and they had that tree down and most of the debris cleared away by 8:50. Alex and his crew were professional and hard-working.
