I can't speak highly enough of how pleasant my car purchasing experience was here! Kerrey Melo, my salesman, was quietly helpful. Ron Szymanski provided the shortest, most efficient experience I've ever had in my five decades of being in the finance office of a car dealership! Kudos to this dealership! (I wonder if they were Disney trained?) read more

Steve Rivera was awesome! I took my used GMC truck in for a check of the 4wd system. Steve called me 2 hours later to tell me the truck was ready. They had found that my oil had been overfilled by the Oxnard dealership by 1.5 to 2 qts. I had some other concerns after buying the truck used and discussed my concerns with Steve. He got off the phone and had his mechanics check a few more things for me, took care of the oil issue, did some research for putting camper on the truck and what I needed to do to be safe etc. He promptly called me back and when I came in he spent a good deal of time going over things with me and answering all my questions. He didn't treat me like most dealerships and service departments do when a woman walks in. I will absolutely continue to go there for service and to buy in the future. read more

Key for Keys Lease Trade is real! I went into Simi GMC planning to just buy out my lease but walked away with a new model for the same payment. Kevin Pool was awesome and provided super customer service. I appreciated his honesty and the whole deal was FAST. No back and forth games. I told him I had a prior commitment at 4pm and he promised I would be out on time and WAS! Definitely will give them our business again. read more

Never experienced such a lack of knowledge about vehicles before. The manager and salesperson went to get a brand new car that they said would be a great deal. When I opened the car to look at it there was a dirty napkin in the door and marks on the center console. I inquired about if this was used as a demo or manager car and was told no but they would clean it up nice. We then opened the rear hatch and the back cover on the seat was hanging off and there was lint all over the back of the seats. I showed this to the salesperson who went and got another salesperson who insisted it was brand new and in perfect condition. I asked him to not insult my intelligence nor assume I was ignorant. When I showed him the issues with the car he had nothing to say. I understand they are under new ownership but won't give them any chance of selling me a car. read more

After having some problems at lease turn in, I wrote and email to the General Sales Manager never expecting to hear back because he is one of the busiest and high ranking individuals at the dealership. Not only did I receive a personalized letter of apology, he has kept in touch with me through several emails, detailing the steps he took to 'correct' what was wrong and then took the time to tell me how to handle the small damages to my car. Because of that, I would highly recommend his dealership to anyone. read more

Fabulous dealership, great staff! The internet sales guy ("Austin") was a cool agent to deal with.. he is honest, straightforward, & professional. I forgot the name of his manager, but they work well together to finally get me a very fair deal with the used SUV & my trade-in. The finance officer was totally pro, they even use this fancy hi-tech touchscreen table to do the document signing... never seen that in a dealership before. They obviously pay attention to detail, presentation, & efficiency! I felt like everyone came out happy, & that's the way it should be when shopping for a vehicle! Kudos to Simi-Valley Buick/GMC dealership, you guys are number-1 in my book... till we meet again! -Stephen M. read more

Great service. Kevin Pool went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend Simi Valley Buick GMC

Simi Valley Buick GMC makes me feel like a part of the family. I don't think I have ever opened my own door to walk in or out of the dealership. I take my truck in to Ryan. I can't tell you how many times I have waited at other dealerships for hours on end to find the service rep forgot about me and my truck was ready a long time ago. But Ryan gives me an estimated time it will be ready and is never more than a few minutes off. He is very organized and works hard to ensure the customer is happy. I will never take my truck in to any other dealer ever again. Because this dealer constantly exceeds my expectations I will only purchase my trucks from them as well. I also sent in a friend to see Josh to get a new 2016 Sierra Denali. Josh got him a great deal right off the bat saving him thousands from his previous quote from a different dealer. Josh is the only person I will ever go see for my new trucks. You can really tell ownership makes customer satisfaction their number one priority. read more

During this worldwide pandemic I decided to upgrade my Denali truck from a 2500 to a 3500. Not sure how this would work I spoke with Wayne the general manager through a small opening from my drivers window. Wayne respected the proper space and worked with my wants. By the time I got home Wayne had worked up a fantastic deal that worked for me. Excellent experience and I kept it local. Thank you read more

I just purchased a new truck from Simi Buick and GMC. I had a great experience, the sales rep Brenden was great to work with. He was a genuine guy and really made my fiancé and my self feel welcome from the moment we got there ( this was much better than the previous dealerships I had gone to) the manager Walter was also great, he really put in the time to make sure we got a great deal, even after staying a few hours after closing on a Sunday night. Long story short the truck is great but the staff really made the difference between purchasing there instead of continuing my search. read more

This dealership is as good as it gets! My wife and I along with our 3 very small kids went in yesterday and were greeted by the general manager (Ted), who introduced us to the owner, (Phil) who was very happy that we came in. My two smallest kids were able to enjoy their kids room, while my oldest went with me on the test drive. Phil and Ted are simply the best there is! No pressure at all from anyone at this store. They gave us all the information we asked for, lease details and pricing which was better than any other GMC store I shopped and I shopped over 5-6 local GMC dealers. We spent some time there, test drove the new 2013 GMC Acadia Denali, but they didn't have the color we wanted in stock. Ted went out of his way to locate the vehicle at another dealership and has arranged to have the vehicle delivered, so that we can go in and pick it up this week. I highly recommend this dealership for any GMC/Buick buying! read more

Just bought a truck last night, so I thought I would follow up with a review... In a nutshell, I started looking actively looking at trucks a couple of weeks ago, even though the research had started some time ago. I'll save the details, but I ultimately started zeroing in on a Sierra. Through my research, I had prior contact with Ed Gonzalez, and he had walked us through a couple vehicles on the lot. What's the big deal with this, you ask? When we were looking at trucks, Ed knew that we were not ready to pull the trigger on a vehicle, but there was subsequently no pressure whatsoever. Even though he knew a sale wasn't imminent, we were treated like we wanted to be treated. He answered all of our questions, and we never felt like we were wasting his time, even though a sale wasn't going to happen. He was very friendly, informative, and professional. Fast forward to last night... I had been on the website and saw a truck was arriving that seemed to have the features and color I was interested in, and I made contact with Ed to schedule a viewing. He was accessible, and he was able to make the appointment happen. To get to the punchline, I saw the truck and wanted to buy it, but the ultimate deciding factor was going to be my trade in. After a brief, no pressure discussion with Ed and his manager Juan (also a great guy) we came to an agreement on the trade price which was fair, and the sale was completed. Since I wasn't prepared to complete a sale last night (no check book, didn't have all trade-in keys, title, etc) the dealership did everything it could to accommodate and satisfy ME, as a customer, to help consummate the transaction. I could have been told to come back when I had everything, but they worked with me to handle my needs. Sure, they ultimately get a sale, but I've been to other places where the sales were obviously on their terms. Not the case here. The purchase experience was very, very pleasant, and everyone I had contact with was great to deal with. Ed from internet sales, Juan, his manager, and Brandon in finance were outstanding. The other associated folks I dealt with were also very pleasant and professional. I love the fact that I was able to support a local business, but, it's not a one-sided deal. Yep, they get the sale, but the sales experience was very pleasant. Had I had any inkling I was being mistreated, we would have gone somewhere else. I should note, while the dealership was under prior ownership, we did exactly that...we walked away. Despite trying to buy a vehicle from there in the past (years and years ago), it never worked out with either (low-balled) trades or other issues. This is NOT the old GMC dealership. I've already ordered some parts, and the parts guy (Scott, I believe) was great in answering my questions and completing my order. Everyone has been a true pleasure to deal with. As such, I am looking forward to servicing my truck there, and I expect that I won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a locall business to deal with that is professional and pleasant, don't look further. Oh yeah, I absolutely LOVE the truck. read more

Austin was awesome to deal with and always helpful. We were able to make a deal and had a great experience at GMC Simi Valley. I finally have my dream truck. Thanks guys! read more

My dad and I purchased a truck from Simi Valley GMC on March 30, 2013. Our salesman, Kevin Pool, was wonderful. The amount of money we were able to spend was limited to a specific amount. Kevin went out of his way to help us and went above and beyond what we would ever expect to make sure we were taken care of. The finance manager, Scott, was also very professional and kind to us. I would highly recommend Simi Valley GMC to anyone that wants to purchase a car from an honest dealership. In fact if you are purchasing a GMC or Buick and live in another area, it is worth driving out of your way to visit this particular dealership. read more

Wanted to test drive a Yukon SLT and called the GMC Simi Valley location. Was told that they had several models in stock. I actually asked the guy to confirm that they definitely had them and he confirmed. Arrived within an hour, only to find that they didn't have any. Update: Ted from GMC called and offered to get the car I was looking for and "make it right". Test drove the Yukon SLT with Josh who was very knowledgable. Overall very good experience! read more

Love the staffing and customer service of this dealership!! Came in this weekend after having a horrible experience at another dealer. Originally we had decided to only take a look since we were deterred from purchasing anything from our previous experience earlier that day. We were greeted by their sales representative Austin would was very patient with us and super knowledgable. He was able to work with us and our budget to get us the best deal. Not once did we feel pressured into anything. When we went into financing and David was equally as pleasant. He made the whole process go quickly especially with the hi-tech tablet to process the documents. Overall it was such a pleasant experience which made us inclined to buy. Thank you again to Austin and the whole Simi Valley Buick GMC team for helping us get our dream family truck. read more

March Madness Buick Promotion brought me to this dealership for the sole fact they had the car with the bells and whistles i was looking for. After a lot of research I found the vehicle I wanted, submitted the quote form and within minutes I received a call from Ron their Internet sales guy. He wasn't pushy, we talked about why i wanted the specific car and he told me it was the only one they had on the lot under the promotion that met what i was looking for. I live 70'ish miles away, traffic through LA can be a pain but a quick call to Ron he said my arrival time would work out. I got there, he greeted me and we went over the car. I was sold. Few quick forms and then I was off to the finance guys dept who was easy to talk to, didn't play games and I was out of there pretty quick and on the road with the new ride. Great folks, good experience for the buy and the car is great too :) read more

This tells you the level of commitment to customer service by Josh Isbell. Instead of admitting to handling my call inappropriately, he continues to cite that because I was rude I didn't get good customer service. Poor customer service has been cited many times in your Yelp ratings. So there's a pattern here with Simi Valley GMC Buick. The public knows it, I guess Josh is still in denial. Clearly, he would rather prove that he was "right" in his handling of a "rude" customer instead of admitting that customer service needs to be improved. I've already filed a complaint with the BBB, Fair Trade and GMC. Sorry Josh, you can answer to those commissions too. Way to go Josh for continuing to make a customer's experience go from bad to worse. read more

Walter Chinchilla is definitely the guy to go to here. Honest, easy to talk to, and very friendly. A no-nonsense kinda salesperson.

Great service! Great staff! I recently purchased a certified new vehicle from this branch. Ron Szymanski was very knowedgable and very friendly. He truly was the one to get me in the car, which led to my eventual buying. Great guy! I also had DuPont added to my car. The service was excellent. Jeff Hightower was my service advisor and I couldn't ask for better help. He was kind and informative. Just a great guy who took care of me efficiently. It really puts you at ease when you have so many good people taking care of you. Even the drivers were nice who shuttled me to the mall, for free, while my car was being worked on. Car looks great and drives phenomenal. Plus it's certified so worry free! Thanks for everything guys! Love my car. read more

I keep coming back to them. I can't say enough about this dealership. Extremely professional, helpful and extremely patient. What a scam. Bought my truck here with a dent/ ding warranty that they sold me. I'd like to compliment Jeff Hightower in the service department. Jeff is the most honest, straight shooting service advisor. Jeff is not out to sell you service you don't need, he's out to make you and your vehicle happy with what it truly needs. I feel like Jeff assesses a car as if it was his own. Suggesting the things it really needs and letting you know what is optional. Never doing the hard sell on services that you don't need. Ahead of a cross country trip in my Acadia, I brought the car in and gave Jeff full reign to do whatever the car needed to make it safe for the long trip. In the end it only needed a coolant flush. Jeff could have easily listed several things to FIX and I probably would have done it. Keep in mind my Acadia has 110K miles on it. If you want it done right, trust Jeff and the GM specialist mechanics at Simi GMC. read more

First off, before I even took my truck in, the service guy tried to sell me a brake flush for $179.00 and lied to me and told me that at 36,000 miles it should have already been done twice. There's no reason to flush your brake system unless the brake fluid is off color or dirty or smells, not to mention that the owners manual says the brake flush doesn't need to be done till 240,000 miles. No thanks. Second, when I picked up my truck I noticed that my tire read out was strange, mind you I just had my tires rotated by a local tire shop and everything was fine, now my read out was saying that the right side tires were 10 lbs less than the left side. Wtf? How does that even happen, especially when I didnt ask them to rotate my tires? Third, I asked them to inspect the truck because we are about to go on a very long road trip towing our 34' trailer. I told them to inspect it and top off ALL fluids including the DEF which was at 29%. When I looked at the DEF gauge it still said 29%. So they didn't do the things I asked them to do, they did services I didn't ask for and screwed up the things they did do. I'm pretty sure nothing got inspected. We had to go back to the tire shop and get the tires fixed. The tire shop had rotate the tires back, recalibrate the sensors, and correct the air pressure again. I will never let Alexander GMC touch my truck again nor will I ever buy a vehicle from them. I bought my truck from the dealership before it became Alexander GMC. read more
