Looking for farm-fresh produce? Local honey? Homemade preserves? This is THE place…read more I have been coming here for years. As soon as they open in the spring until closing at the end of August, I am here at least twice per week. There is nothing like the taste of locally grown, pesticide-free produce: *Corn is absolutely delicious. Worth the extra cost, and remember that these will not be picture-perfect ears because no pesticides are used. Snap off or cut off the top if you find a little worm and remember that this is what you do in exchange for natural produce. *Watermelons are addictive. Scrumptious! *Cantaloupe: sugar-sweet. Grab it when they get it, otherwise you'll miss them because they sell fast! *Red potatoes are WAY better than what you'll get in the grocery store. These reds make hands-down the best mashed potatoes you will ever eat. *Tomatoes (either from their farm or other local farms): nothing like what you get in any grocery store. These ARE tomatoes. *Squash: zucchini, butternut, acorn, gold bar and others. The flavors explode in your mouth! *Eggplant: the regular or Japanese (when they have it) variety has the most distinct flavor whether you're making parmesan, grilling it or frying it. *Greens: kale and other greens. Super tender! *Cabbage: makes the best coleslaw you will ever eat. Stock up on local honey before the end of summer, too. Honey lasts forever, and they will be sold out come August. Support local business! Super-friendly staff and phenomenal produce. You can't go wrong.

First driving in, we noticed it was not too busy. Getting out of the car we saw, heard and felt the hustle and hard-work of the employees rearranging plants with equipment and by hand, we heard them working with customers. Walking in, we instantly noticed the goodies on the shelf in the mason jars for sale and the cool outdoor decor for purchase!; we bought one of everything on the shelf and everything was so yummy. My favorite was the fig preserve (so good over cottage cheese and fresh berries. Thank me later ). We wondered around and placed plants together to eye what would look nice together for our backdrop behind the pool. This nursery was so chill (I felt free to just BE and LOOK. Also, there was a man working in the plants that was eager to help and suggested many different plants for the area that would work in the area we were looking to fill. What we purchased: purple ornamental grass and some Snow On The Mountain (sooo pretty, need to get more to fill in). We also bought some corn nuggets, dried banana chips, cucumbers, PURPLE HULL (already peeled and frozen in a bag), okra, and oranges. All fresh fruit and veggies turned out great with our lunch and we tried all the canned goodies as soon as we got home and unloaded all our plants lol!!! ((When)) I go back, I am looking forward to buying one of their whole chickens, more veggies and looking into some of their plants that attract butterflies . I recommend this place. Parking is very small, so please bring your kindness and patience. Customer service was very great, so the entire experience is worth the time and wait. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll answer quickly.

Why 5 stars? Because this was a fun family outing…read more --- --- --- I drove by Atkinson Farm a year or two ago and always had it in the back of mind as a place to visit, ever since. Recently, we saw them share on Facebook that they had some strawberries ready for picking and we basically hopped out of bed and headed over there. You pay $3 per person and $2 per bucket to enter. My wife waited in life while I took our son to play on the playground, which he really enjoyed. Once she was done, we headed back to the strawberries. There were several areas you could choose from, and it was pretty obvious which areas had been picked over already and which hadn't. Some sections would only have a few decent strawberries, while others were full of only the biggest and brightest. We nearly filled up two buckets and it was only $24. Sure, we had to pick them and wash them, but we had enough strawberries to last us an eternity. And they were pretty tasty too. The market where you pay for the berries after also had other various produce items and meats. I added on a jar of pickles on top of the strawberry haul. We will probably have to make this an annual tradition!

Journeyed up there mainly for the raw milk. However there is a process with that does't matter…read morethough I would go back for the fresh farm eggs and bacon. The parking is a little tight so I would suggest going earlier to when they open up. It seems like its very community like there most of the customers seemed to know each other as well as the owner. So when I entered in (looking somewhat lost) the owner was kind enough to walk me through what was where and answer any questions I had. The fresh eggs and bacon were enough for me to come out again however they have so much selection fresh veggies, beef bacon (didn't even know that was a thing). The site is on the main page so I would suggest checking that out ahead of making your trip out here. The owner and staff were engaging and helped me with my selections. The staff was helpful and patient with all my questions which made it easier to make selections and make hurried choices. If you want to try out some fresh farm food I highly recommend Victoria's Natural Market especially the bone chicken broth (they have a beef broth), bacon, and farm eggs.

What a charming and amazing little place. This married team is completely dedicated to our wellness…read morethrough food and local products and a focus on carrying a small amount of superior things from which we can choose. WOW! One of the first things I took off the shelf to try based on an owner recommendation was the organic fermented garlic pickle mixture in a jar. I couldn't wait to take it home and open it up and take a little sample. It's spicy and warm and garlicky and just absolutely delicious, the kind of umami flavoring that good chefs and cooks look for. I'm making a Duo pasta dish today (pasta dumped in a large bowl that has a white cheese sauce on one side and a delicious tomato marinara sauce on the other, mix that up with a little grated Romano), and I can't wait to add that fermented garlic pickle mixture to the marinara, it's going to be amazing! I chose the sauce that had the carrot in it because that is an Italian grandmother's secret for making a delicious sweet marinara "gravy". The other WOW item I found and bought was the locally made sweet consisting of shredded phyllo, pistachio, and all covered in chocolate. I'm not really a chocolate lover, but I promise you that it was fabulous! There is a second a little adjacent room that they use for a little gift store type of environment and I loved the fact that I could buy two pairs of what looked like very comfortable knitted slippers made by people in the local church. I bought lemons, an absolutely gorgeous huge firm heirloom tomato, organic chicken and two types of lamb sausage, what looked like some great premade burger patties that are larger than the usual (very glad about that!), lemons and one of their three house Italian tomato sauces. The couple is dedicated to wellness and supporting local producers, we're very helpful in answering my many questions, they are very kind, and I can't wait to go back to try more things.
