I know this is a Walmart store, and I don't know why but I figured since on the edge of the Woodlands it would have been a lot nicer but them realized it is the edge of Tomball. lol So, no real difference than any other newer Walmart. One of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. Today I visited the Auto Care Center after having replaced, and bought 4 new tires here back in November. To start, as you pull in the staff is low energy, not friendly, and clueless. They don't seem to know what to do. The Autocare Manager, Laketta is rude and inpatient even with her owns workers. Don't you dare to ask a questions or try to reason with her. She would explode at you. If you need your car fixed, go somewhere. This place treats its customers terribly!!!! I am just disappointed with Walmart so often. A lot of their "clearance items" are sometimes less than a dollar difference. They wouldn't even price match their own product!! They seriously wanted me to order it online, wait a few hours and then come back and pick it up. I ordered through Amazon, and it was even cheaper than walmarts online price. It was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with someone! It seems they have their phone service set up to where you just can't get through to speak to someone. The automation was telling me for a solid 3 minutes "I'm sorry, I don't understand" before I hung up and tried again. Over 30 minutes to get to an actual person. And it still wasn't the right person. Everyone at Walmart really seems to hate their job except the lovely older gentleman that greets at the door! He has been there awhile and is always such a joy! There are so many other negative experiences with the company. I would rather support any other company that treats their employees and customers respectably over Walmart. They are my last resort! This Walmart deserves a zero rating. Worst Walmart I have ever had to shop at. Placed an online delivery order early in the morning, I am talking before 9am to be delivered by 11AM. Waiting for my order 10:30AM delayed. Call the store speak with the Online Pickup Department manager and I am told that my order is there but they do not have a delivery driver because of the cold so it may be a little longer. I wait until 2pm nothing. I call the store and the phone rings for 23mins no answer. I call back waiting another 10 mins for customer service no answer. My wife calls in and I call in as well at the same time to see if anyone picks up. 30 mins of waiting someone answers my wife's call. My wife asks for the manager and is told they do not have one. WHAT!!!! How can you not have a manager. My wife asks again and the person on the phone tells my wife to hush like she is a child really????? WTF. I know if it was face to face the Walmart employee would not have disrespected my wife that way. My wife asks for her name and she hangs up. I decided to just go down to the Walmart in person and talk to the manager. Now here we are almost 9 hours later. No delivery, no idea what's even going on. I get to the store which is 20 mins out of my way. Talk with the store manager and I am told they do not know who answered the phone. So nothing they can do about it. I talk to the OPD manager and they go to get my order. 30 mins later the OPD manager comes back out and says that they haven't even started to pick the order yet. Even though I called at 10:30AM and asked if my order was ready and I was told it was. 6 1/2 hours later it hadn't even been picked. The OPD manager tells me that they will go pick it, it will just be about 45 mins for the 4 items. No sorry, no acceptance of responsibility nothing just pushed off like they could careless if I shop at Walmart or not. So let's face it, Walmart gets a bad rap for its insanely long lines, poorly dressed patrons, and attitude filled employees. This Walmart however, is amazing! It's new to the Creekside Community and from the outside structure to the inside decor and set up, it has definitely set itself apart from all of your "Typical" Walmart's. When you enter, they have a station where you can pick up a scanner that attaches to your cart. You go around shopping and scanning your items, all the while being able to view your total on your screen. Once you're done shopping, you go to the scan and go express line, press finish and scan the screen. Your total is brought up and then allows you to pay and bag your items if you choose. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This Walmart is absolutely beautiful! There is a Chobani cafe, that serves bagels, coffee, sandwiches and more. If you're not a fan of this chain supermarket you should definitely give this location a try. It's sure to change your mind. read more

I gave up on Walmart ages ago, until I came here. This is brand new Walmart which opened up on February 15, 2017 and my first visit came the Monday after- February 20th, and it was the BEST Walmart experience I have ever had! The facility is HUGE and it's clean! Clean clean clean. The Walmart on Kuykendhal and 2920 is disgusting (main reason why I stopped going to Walmart) but this one- complete opposite. Every thing is nicely organized and there's so much more space. Staff- Can these guys always be my Walmart Team?! LOVED them! Staff at the other location, once again, is just plain rude. The staff at this location was extremely friendly and assisted me at check out. Also, every single staff member had a smile on his/her face and they all said "Good morning". One new feature at this Walmart is this new way of shopping and checking out. I believe it's called "Grab & Go" or "Scan & Go" something along those lines. It's this scanner that you carry with you and you scan the items has you go. When it comes time for check out, you just simply need to pay. No more waiting in line. At this location, they have also designated an entire area to those shopping online and just have to pick up their orders. Even though this is a HUGE store, they do lack a few brands compared to the other location, which is a downfall. This is something they NEED to change. Need to. read more

A store employee heard the battery beeping and said pushed me to the shopping carts. Pulled out a fully charged vehicle and reloaded my shopping goods into the charged up handicapped cart. Best time to shop is during the early morn when you can actually pass through an aisle and have room to move. While I never purchase meat there, I do like the prices on produce and frozen items and canned goods are of good variety. Paper goods and laundry/cleaning supplies are also good on variety and prices. Other than that, it's usually a quick trip in and out. read more

I came in for some sundries and got a lunch from the deli to go. For the money, it's solid value - I paid $4.47 for six competently fried chicken wings and a couple of vegetable sides. Were they perfect? No. Were they pretty good, better than many like it? Yes. The wings were crispy and salty, even though they were in a steam table. The vegetables were also pretty salty (I had corn and green beans), may have been there a bit long, but ate just fine. The service was polite--we negotiated our communication issues through masks just fine. The staff there are generally patient in this very trying time, and I appreciate their being there. read more

Purchased a couple of Kinetic Sand toys for Easter gifts for my kids. This was a pick up order on April 18. I did not check the bag after signing for the order since the box said Kinetic. But come late Saturday evening when I was preparing for the Easter bunny's arrival. I noticed they were KINETIC ROCKS & NOT SAND. So those toys couldn't be placed out. Who ever pulled this order is incompetent! YOU CAN'T READ! Yet again, I went against my gut instinct and shopped at WALMART. Doing the return was a joke as well. The old guy in the front who checks the returns. His scanner didn't work and so he told me to go to the service desk. No one was at the service desk and I mean NOBODY. Finally, this woman comes up busy w/someone else's problem, but no acknowledgement from her. Another cashier shows up but he tends to another customer that was behind me for a return. WTF?! This rating is not based on customer satisfaction or how employees treat customers poorly. It's merely based on how mother or even parent friendly it is. As someone with two young boys, I have to grocery shop alone. So I love how Walmart has a "Mother's Room" where I can change my baby's diaper and let my 4 year old take a small break. However, that was at all the other Walmart's I've been to. So I was really disappointed when I tried going to This location's mother's room and it was locked. What I was more confused and truly bothered about was how when I coincidentally found an employee a few steps away, I ask him if the Mother's Room was not available at all or if it was just locked. And he replied by saying, "Yeah it's Staff Member's only." Mind you, he was nice. But that still doesn't explain why employees have been occupying a room that was clearly designed to customers who are parents with young ones to tend to. I don't think I'll be coming to this Walmart again because of this. Everything else about this place was adequate and resourceful like any other Walmart. FALSE ADVERTISING and ACCUSATORY EMPLOYEES. DONT BUY YOUR VACUUMS HERE. We visit often, but last night ventured to buy a new vacuum since our other one died. Got a cheap-o since we spent $300+ on the last one and it didn't last long. While we where there, we saw an awesome rollback price on a Crosswave! Too good to pass up, so we brought it to the front. We get up there, and it scanned for way more than the price advertised. My Husband went back with the employee and showed them the tag under the ACTUAL DISPLAY THAT WALMART PUT TOGETHER AND HAS DISPLAYED STILL... and wouldn't honor the Price. It's the exact vacuum. Literally the vacuum they took out of the same box we brought to the front, put it together, and put a giant tag below it. They then accused my Husband of switching the tags, accused him of lying, and were very rude and condescending to him. We bought the Crosswave anyway, because it was still on rollback, but NONE of their vacuums are displayed at the right price. So buyer beware. I've attached a picture. The purple Crosswave in the photo on the right is NOT $199. Instead it is $249! Insane. False Advertising, and extremely rude accusatory Employees. We looked through the mess of the Vacuum aisle to find that EXACT one that's displayed and they still wouldn't honor it. If your employees can't stock correctly, or even your Dept Manager can't manage their inventory and displays correctly (which is kinda a big deal) maybe you should find a new one. They expect customers to instead of looking at the displays... go through the tag to find the barcode, check the barcode on EVERY SINGLE BOX... and find the right vacuum. Bogus. And check your cameras before you start accusing your loyal paying customers. read more

It's just a Walmart. A nice Walmart, but it's still just a regular Walmart, and not anything more. Not that I have any complaints. They have this thing where they advertise it as skipping check out lines, but you basically carry this scanning gun around with you as you go and scan stuff yourself. Then you take it to a regular self check out thing, and pay for the stuff listed on your gun. It's basically just the same but you scan it before you put it in your basket, not when you're leaving. There were rumors that they were doing away with cashiers but there's plenty there. They also have a pick-up, drive thru, though. That's pretty neat, I guess. It saves you the time of parking, going and finding everything, etc. I don't think I'd use it regularly though, personally. Maybe once or twice in a while, if I feel lazy. The staff, actually very inviting and friendly. The greeter didn't stand in one spot and say Welcome to Walmart with a blank expression, but rather greeted me at the door, and offered to show me how everything worked there. He quickly, but very efficiently explained how to use the Scan-and-Go thing they offered and was very nice/sociable. I would shop here, on a regular basis, if I lived any closer. read more

However now try finding one employee who will assist you....today's experience standing at the fabric counter for nearly 30 minutes pushing the "assistance button" with NO ONE to ever actually show up to help! All while I stood there and witnessed two young Walmart Associated making out in the aisle across from the fabric section!!! Another two standing near the toy section just chit chatting it up! I would love to have been able to say after speaking with management I was assisted however that was not the case! This place is an absolute joke!! This is not a Wal-Mart; it's the future of retail. Amazing center, fresh, CLEAN, and with friendly customer service. The technology is something not seen before. From the lot attendances picking up carts via remote control, to walking around and pricing your own items. Each isle has their own dedicated Touchscreen TV and attendant who is friendly and welcoming. I drive an extra 4 miles to go to this specific location. I've given this Walmart several tries, but just like pretty much every other one, after about a month it goes south. Uncaring, unhelpful, unfriendly employees, none of whom seem to know anything about what you need nor do they know who can help you. The produce section is now a disgrace. Fruit flies everywhere because nobody cares about cleaning up anything rotten. Uneducated employees in the lawn and garden department. Plus they removed their hand held scanners. Now I have to check out myself because there are never enough cashiers. So I tried the grocery pick up. Three times. Each time was a disappointment. I'm talking broken eggs, destroyed and open boxes. Ridiculous. Plus they substitute items when I specifically requested them not to. The final straw for me was getting home with my items, finding 7 of the 12 eggs broken and they substituted a 2lb bag of flour for a 5 lb bag of flour. But it was the same price, not the same size! So I lost out on 3lbs of flour. These people are ignorant and the management aren't any smarter. They simply DO NOT CARE. Walmart's are THE WORST. This review is for the Salon inside Walmart. My girlfriend referred me to Esteban who had cut her hair a few days prior to me going in and I could tell he did a very good job. I've been to multiple places for a men's cut including Cutthroat barbers on Washington ave and others. Esteban did the best job out of all the more expensive places I've been and was very quick/professional. A few weeks later my girlfriend went back for a cut and color with highlights, he knocked it out of the park and everyone has been commenting on how great it looks and I definitely agree. Now with the free curbside pick up, it's even easier; I just order groceries online, pay and pick up. No shopping, no lines. So many new services available too; a couple weeks ago I noticed my tire was flat, so I went to buy a replacement and an oil change. Went grocery shopping while they were working on my car. Had everything done (new tire, oil change, groceries) in about an hour! Amazing! read more

So....my son and I went to Walmart at Augusta Pines today and ran into one of our favorite people what works there...he is really sweet, very welcoming and such a hard worker every time we are there (something we always notice bc we are employed in consumer-based businesses). Tonight, we purchased a SIMPLE, $1 box of chocolates to give him for Valentines Day b/c he REALLY deserves it and he goes to tell me that he can't accept it b/c he would be fired! Are you kidding me??? His manager told us the same thing!!!! Customers notice these amazing employees and things they do for consumers and 99% of the time corporate tends to look past them...I work for a corporation and I strive to make SURE my employees and guests feel like they are making a difference! Tonight it made my son and myself feel like doing a good thing for someone always comes with a consequence. Still not gonna stop our family from paying it forward.
